You were lost, which wasn't good in most normal circumstances. The tall buildings of Toronto loomed above you, seeming to bend over, caging you in.
This was your first trip alone. Your first trip far from home and the first trip you had ever made to Toronto. Getting lost on your way to the hotel, then finding out that yo had been moved to a much smaller and slightly less adequate room seemed to pale as you stared about, confused.The loud sounds on the street and general chatter of the pedestrians added to your growing panic.
Walking around the corner of a building, you suddenly found yourself confronted by a large and imposing shape. A hand shot out, grabbing your upper arm in an iron grip. Wincing you looked up, half expecting to get yelled at.
The tall man glaring down at you looked like he would have no trouble (or regret) filling that expectation.
