The Human Brain.It's funny how the human mind chooses to keep some things and throw others out isn't it?
It'll remember your name, right up until somebody asks for it.
It'll remember your birthday, until you get sick of counting the years you've been on this rock.
It'll remember that when it rains, you need an umbrella, till you leave the house without one.
It'll remember your anniversary, till he dies and you don't have one anymore.
It'll remember names, until you have to put them with faces.
It'll remember how much you love someone, until one day, it doesn't.
One day, it'll start to forget things.
Like your birthday,
Like the days of the week,
Or the fact you have a dog.
The human brain can process up to 800 words per minute,
But when I speak to you, you don't seem to take anything in,
Asking the same old questions,
Telling the same stories.
Over and Over.
But I don't mind.
Because sometimes the human brain can still amaze you.

If I ruled the world, people would have to stop. They would have to stop and appreciate the world around them, slow down and just listen. Listen to the pouring rain, the singing birds, the laughing children... Just listen and appreciate.
If I ruled the world, people would have to be kind to one another, we share the same bright sun, the same round moon, so it's about time we share the same warm love. No children will ever lose their smiles, they'll never cry those tears. They'll never make that heartbreaking noise or have the tears roll off their face.
If I ruled the world bullies would be non-existent. Children would never walk playgrounds as battlefields, they'd never have to face that rhyme... The one about sticks and stones, as though words hurt less than broken bones. They'd never have to cry themselves to sleep at night, or resort to hurting themselves with broken pieces of glass to try and mend their broken pieces of heart.
