EDIT FOUR: Yeah, so. I couldn't get this finished or even close to finished in time. ^^; I loved my sketch and most of the initial coloring I did, but when I got to the dragon I just...yeah, no. lol Maybe next dragon hunt I won't bail...but I don't know how long it will be before I decide to make something with this much effort put into it. School got in the way and I opened quite a few commissions....so yeah. :(

EDIT TRES: Ugh, I hate coloring and shading. It's turning my entry to shit. ;3; Starting coloring the background, clouds, and some of the dragon. Not 100% in love with my coloring/shading skills...but I'm kind of still proud of the piece? It was so awesome as a sketch. I just hope that I can do myself SOME justice and give myself a CHANCE. Any and all tips are helpful for me. c: Thank you guys for the kind comments. (Time spent on this thus far: 9+ hours)

EDIT DOS: Okay, added a few more things to the sketch (planning to add more), colored in the dragon tack and, surprise, it's Birdy. :stare: XD I'd REALLY love some feedback...I've got all of 7 hours thrown in this... ;3; I also know that you can't see the sketch very well in this update, but slowly I'll find a way to get some better lighting. I also know I already screwed up my only tree with my coloring. XD Hopefully the rest will go as well as the horse/tack did. I winged it for coloring the tack and, dayum, Birdy looks GOOOD. <33

EDIT UNO: Added some background, changed a few things with the dragon. I'm actually SUPER proud of this. ;3; I don't even care anymore that there are going to be so many other entries better. This is like the best thing I've ever drawn. XD

Yeahhhhhh...I spent too long on the armor and the dragon. Dragons...y u so hard to create? :T

ANYWAYS, I might actually throw another horse in there. If I did, it would be either Birdys mommy or brother. C:

This is the drawing I did of this piece: [link] and if you want to know the story behind why I did this, go here: [link] since I really don't feel like explaining it all over again. :-P

Anyhow, I used stock from :iconfaestock: for the pose since [link] practically screamed to be drawn as a faery. Haha! I love how this turned out. Definitly one of my best pieces ever! Yay! I just wish I had colored pencils (mine died) to color this. Probably won't be until January when I can color these. Me so sad...But hey, if anyone here wants to color this, let me know! :-D I wanna see the finished piece and I also must insist that I receive proper credit for doing this drawing. If you steal this piece, or make claims you did the original drawing, I will cause you great pain. Thank you for understanding!

Faving without commenting is badness, so please comment should you decide to fav. Thank you!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Yes. I made another. I had another canvas, and leftover crayons! How could I pass that up?! xD

I found the picture of the silhouette on Google (Sorry if this is anyone's if it is let me know and I'll credit you.) I'm really happy with this!

Quite busy with school lately. I haven't have much time to draw as usual. Time is money, so I started to concentrate and work faster on drawing. The reflection of the car is based in a parking lot. I found the bristol smooth paper is really cool.

Car: Acura RSX

Time: 12 Hours

Media: Graphite pencil, eraser, tissue and brush.

Hope you guys like it

Enjoy!

Comments are appreciated. Thank you!

:dummy: This is Lenon's handmade Supa-Dupa-Boing-Machine, from my children's book "Hey Lenon!" :) But I'll not tell you why he's in that machine ;)
Lenon is a really funny and creative little sheepboy :la:

On the right side is the 'real' machine I've built, because I take it with me to every reading where I read my children's book for kids. It's every time an "aaawww"-effect when they see Lenon's Supa-Dupa-Boing-.Machine from the book in real :)

Hope you enjoy

"Hey Lenon!"

Steampunk Heart conceptual drawing.

First time colab between me and Katherine Miller.

Design and rough draft was drawn up by myself while Katherine then transferred the design onto black paper and did the wonderful job in bringing the Steam Punk heart to 'life' with colouring and 3D aspect.
