I figured it out from black and white.
Seconds and hours.
Maybe they had to take some time.
I know how it goes from wrong and right.
Silence and sound.
Did they ever hold each other tight
Did they ever fight
We can make it 'til the end.
Nothing can come between
Not even the Gods above
Can separate the two of us.
I figured it out.
Saw the mistakes of up and down.
Meet in the middle.
There's always room for common ground.

DeviantART pageviews and feedbackI have been meaning to write this journal for months now, but since my 7th deviantART birthday is almost here then I decided to do it now. This journal will talk about deviantART and how to get the best out of it. After all I have been here for years now and I have seen many things, good and bad, and how to live with them. It isn't meant to be 100% informative but rather how I see things and what I think would be helpful.DeviantART pageviews and feedback2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
I will most probably start of with a small journal and improve it when I have more time.
Beginning - views or watches
First thing you should think about when coming to deviantART is if you are here to improve your art or get views and use it as a bit different social network. That being said, neither of them is a wrong option because it all depends of your interests and what you want to get out this experience. If you are here to get views and find friends who like art as much as you then your next steps are quite easy. Here is a shor

Foreign Words the English Language NeedsOh hello. I’m finally getting around to making this news article that I said I might do, like, a month ago. Sorry, I’m not used to writing news articles. Bear with me.Foreign Words the English Language Needs2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Back in August, I started a series in my forums for cool foreign words. It went over extremely well and numerous people requested that I combine them into a handy-dandy news article for deviantART at large to enjoy. So, here you are: fifteen foreign words that the English language needs to
What it means: A feeling of longing associated with displacement, but not necessarily displacement from one’s original home. An intense yearning to be somewhere you are not. Hiraeth also expresses a sort of ache or longing for something of the past, somewhat similar to the notion of "golden" or "good old days," but with more ancient connotations.
Why it needs to be a thing in English: I speak as someone from a country

No matter the brave, fierce constructs we build and serve that would have us believe we are each one of us all alone as we make this journey, we make our way toward the end of all things side-by-side in our community of the living each day defying death. Our paths may be wildly divergent—the way of the hungry and impoverished traveling the same timeline with the grotesquely indulgent, the very best of us side-by-side with the most evil of us; but all headed for the same fate: dust. In The Shadow of Dragons
"Is the time of daring deeds forgotten, and spent the fire of men? The bravery sheathed, the proud hearts withered? In the scorched trails of our foes’ fury, even wizards’ spells knelt and warriors’ will bent; yet Dawn’s struggle beneath the burning clouds, within the shadow of dragons, has won her the eastern sky. Shall battle drums thunder once more, and mithril–clad soldiers brave again the terrors of the skies?"

My deviantArt StoryHi everyone,My deviantArt Story5 months ago in Art Features More Like This
Well I'm joining in on the fun for DA's 14th birthday and telling my DeviantArt story which actually did not start 2 years ago. It was with another account a long time ago when MySpace was still a household name...
I have known about DA since I was in high school, about 6 years ago but didn't join until I was 18, so about 5 years ago, which is when I got my first DSLR camera and began focusing on my photography. I wanted a place to put it and remembering DA I started up an account I believe under my old Starcraft username "Shelna Kryhas". I posted mostly just for fun, a mix of digital art as I was learning it and photography. Mostly beginner stuff. That account is long gone since I started taking into account copyright issues using a phrase specifically from "Starcraft".
So I started a new one though I don't know what I called it. Anyways over the next five years I had a few different accounts, one just for art that I closed and two regular ones, one that was to be permane

What does 'Character Design' mean?
The character design is the process which comes after the characterisation and consists in defining the character through his/her physical appearance.
We need to consider a character as a little fictional creature, human or not, that aims to please its creator and the public as well.
While the basic characterization of this fictional creature (his tastes, his fears, his behaviors) may take a little mental effort, as it is a sort of list of emotions, facts and feelings that come and go in the life of a character, the process of visual realization of this creature may not be as simple. That's why many writers and characters creators prefer to rely on experienced hands.
Also many of the mental aspects of the character are not possible to gain by using 'static' visual medium. For 'static' I mean all the illustrations and drawings unable to tell a
The Lonely Pathby techgnotic/of depthRADIUSThe Lonely Path2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
I have never found a companion who was so companionable as solitude.
Henry David Thoreau
I always thought Thoreau’s comment was simply a word game— ultimately not of much value and false at its core. A Valentines Day in solitude should mean being all alone and alone means being unhappy, pure and simple. Still, it will turn out in life that the most alone we can feel is ironically in the crush of family and friends and even in the embrace of one’s Valentines Day companion— but lost and unfulfilled in one’s dreams and visions.
