Growing Up Masked: Chapter 5: New Abilities Arise
Jade walked into the apartment and put down her duffel bag. She looked around the place, which seemed too much like an old condo. It was smaller than upstairs, maybe because the upper apartment had two floors. She walked over to a wall mirror and saw that her hair was getting lighter, probably because of whatever she was going through, and was now a light brown color. She picked the biggest bedroom of the three and put her clothes in the closet, taking up almost no space.
“Gosh, I barely have any clothes to last me through the summer.” Jade turned around and grabbed her last pair of shorts. When she turned back around, her closet was full of brand new, trendy, and somewhat exposing clothes. “What the…. Wait, the website said I would be able to produce things out of thin air. And in my dream…that’s what I did! So, whatever

Jade awoke in the same dressing room from her… “interview” dream. She looked the same, except with dark hair. On the table rested a pack of bubble gum. Having grown an addiction to it, she grabbed couple pieces and began to chew as the wad grew bigger.
She walked outside to find herself backstage to some performance. Across the wide platform, she saw Miss J standing there, in the very outfit from their first "competition." She called out, “Hello, Jade.” Jade wanted to reply, but the immense wad of gum stuck her mouth shut. “I bet you are wondering what you are doing here. You are not here to have another battle, you are here to entertain me. I have gotten enough control of you to last months, so for the time being, you will perform songs from our favorite artist, Katherine Perry.”
Miss J disappeared and Jade involuntarily s

Jade woke up at a cargo yard, right by the boat docks. She looked and saw she was wearing a Supergirl outfit. She started to walk down the yard, looking around. She reached the street to see she was actually in a boat dock by Venice Beach, a whole 2 hours north of San Diego and New Haven.
“Oh, shoot. How am I supposed to get home?” says Jade. Jade then remembers her abilities in the dream. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. “Ok. I’m 200 miles from home. No money. No ID. Mask, if you are going to do anything, do it now.”
Jade opened her eyes, which turned from green to bright gray. “Ooh, this outfit is totally cute. Wait, I’m in LA? OMG, I need to get home!!!” Even though Jade was acting along the lines of a stereotypical teenage girl, she had a very adult-like voice. “SuperMask, away!” Jade, or SuperMask, began to spin into a tornado, but only spun

Jade was at her senior prom, but she was not all there. Based off of how the outcome of her most recent “battle” was, she was half-Jade, half-Mask. She would try to talk to her friends, but then the Mask would have her start talking about something else or go off and be with other people. She was certainly the center of attention, but she couldn’t enjoy herself.
At around 10 PM, she dragged herself into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, and she saw what she was like on the inside. One half of her body looked like she did now, the mask side, and the other looked like her, the old her. Her Jade side in the mirror began to cry, but she knew on this side of the mirror that she was still smiling her goofy little grin.
Slowly, mirror Jade looked up, and she saw her eye twitch. She went over the end. If she was going to be this

Jade sat on Miami beach, hanging out with her friends on the first day of her two-week senior spring break. A lot had happened in two years. She was now nationally recognized as the girl with the green face, and had modeled for many clothing companies. She was even once on national TV. She had gone out with numerous guys, none ever lasted though. She even kissed a girl in real life.
Real life…that was a problem for Jade. With all her encounters with Miss J, it was hard for her to tell what was real and what was a dream sometimes. In her Sophmore year, she had been in a dream with Miss J the entire week of finals. She aced them all but had no idea what she did during that week.
The Mask showed signs of growing, now that it covered her ears. Her chart at home had changed a lot, too. There were times when the pink barely c

Jade woke up with a start, relieved that it was all a dream. She looked over at her phone and saw that she slept for twenty four hours, and it was now 1:00 AM on Wednesday. She thought about the dream while she went for a swim on the beach. Lucky for her, no one came by. She swam up and down the gentle surf remembering the final words in her dream, “…the child of Loki’s Mask.”
As the sun began to rise, Jade stepped out of the water, stark naked. She heard someone coming, so she grabbed her towel and made a bolt for the door, stepping inside just in time before the beach patrol came by.
Jade walked over to her computer and sat down and began to do some typing…..
Five hours later, she found all the information she was looking for on one website. She started reading it to herself.

Jade saw herself on the plane, but from a different spot. Looking at a wall mirror, she saw that she was wearing a flight attendant’s outfit. Miss J stood next to her in the same outfit. “Today’s competition is going to be wrestling match. We will stand in a circular arena, and the first one to fall out loses, ok?”
Jade replied, “Ok, but where is a circular arena? We are in a plane.” Miss J snapped her fingers and the two were now on a circular cloud, and the plane was flying away.
“Oh, and one more rule,” Miss J said. “We can’t use our arms, we just use our boobs.” Suddenly, both of their arms disappeared and their breasts grew and grew until they were twice the size of basketballs. Without restraint, Miss J came right at Jade. She dodged, but nea

Jade realized she was dreaming as soon as she opened her eyes. She was in an enclosed space, and the walls seemed to be made of a black leather. She felt her head and realized she was bald. She wondered why she was bald though, as it wouldn’t be for another five years. But suddenly, she felt a pain in her neck. The mask began grow. It stretched along her neck, over her breasts, and down to her feet.
“AAHHH!” She looked at her now completely masked body. She saw that she had no toes, no fingernails, and no nipples. Jade began to feel the dream take control of her body. She got down on her knees and rubbed herself up against the side of the enclosure. She started to say, “Well, this got weird pretty fast,” but instead she spoke, “Man, my figure is so square. I need a curvy hourglass figure.”

Jade was sitting in her room, listening to music. Her parents were gone for the night, and wouldn’t be back untill tomorrow, her fifteenth birthday. She was about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, had black hair and brown eyes, had a size A-cup chest, and had petite features. As the clock came closer to midnight, Jade began to feel dizzy. She looked over at the clock, 11:58. She began to feel hot; her body was throbbing. Her clothes suddenly felt very, VERY tight. He began to pant, heaving her chest in and out. She felt her face, and it was bubbling like hot rubber.
“What’s…happening…to…ME?!?” she howled in-between her short breaths. Soon enough, she blacked out.
Jade woke up the next morning feeling tired and sore. She stumbled

Jade found herself in a very weird, and very pink dressing room. She looked in the mirror and saw herself butt-naked and bald. Jade stood up and looked around, not seeing and clothes anywhere. Seeing that it was just a dream, she decided to walk right out the door. And, of course, everyone outside was wearing things like boots, heels, gloves, open jackets and hats, but nothing to cover their breasts or groin. She saw that she was in a TV studio. A second look and she realized that all these women looked like her, just with hair.
A woman with bright cherry-red hair walked up to her and said, “Hey you’re on soon. And find something to wear, you can’t go out looking like you’re ready to take a bath.”
Soon enough the dream took control. Jade instantly spun around in a tornado and appeared right on stage at an int

Jade saw she was at the starting line of a 5k she did as a child. She saw her parents next to her, but they didn’t seem to notice. Jade held up a mirror to her body. She had black hair like when she was little, and she was wearing a pink top and black short-shorts. She tried to think of what the catch was when she saw Miss J next to her in the same outfit. She tried to ask her, but her lips were still sealed.
Miss J spoke, “Today, we are going to race. However, we are not going to race like these people.” Miss J snapped her fingers and both of the women became motorcycles from the waist down. “We are gonna race like Masks. Oh, and by the way, all of our little fights will take place in your memories or experiences, but with a bit of a twist. See, this is the 5k you ran as a child. However, the race course we take will be a bit more extreme, l

Jade’s vision was blurry and fuzzy, but slowly cleared up. She saw she was in a doorless, square room. The walls were a bright green. On one wall, there was a section of closets, all empty. On the next, there were a bunch of empty shelves and drawers. She walked over to the wall and opened up the drawers, all empty. On the third wall were a bunch of pictures of the cartoon character, Jessica Rabbit. On the last wall, there was a display case with two unclothed statues of Jessica Rabbit, and a mirror. Jade stood up and walked over to the mirror, nearly going into shock. She was completely naked, and, from the shoulders down, her body was a cartoon.
“What the heck is with my body?” she asked. “I’m a cartoon?!?”
“No, you just have my body.” Jade turned back to the wall of pict

Jade stepped out of the shower, still trying to comprehend what has happened to her. Summer just began, so she didn’t have to worry about facing her friends, but school was only two months away…
It all made her head spin. She grabbed a pink towel and wrapped it around herself. Her mother called from downstairs, “Honey, Daddy and I are going to see a doctor in Portland, Oregon about this. We’ll be back on Thursday. If you need groceries order them online, and you know where the credit card is. We love you!” They then walked out the door.
“Thursday…” Jade thought, “today’s Monday, that’s three days from now. Portland’s pretty far; we’re just outside San Diego. I wonder if I’ll be able to hold myself together for that long.” As the sun wen

“Sure… I’d love to go.” Jade then let out a little girlish giggle.
“Okay, see you there.” He then walks off, while whatever seems to be driving Jade’s giddiness seems to super-charged, with Jade now acting like a stereotypical “popular-blonde.”
When Jade got back to her apartment, her giddiness died down, and she could focus better, but not completely. She sat down

Jade sat in the car outside her high school, nervous to step out. Over the last two months, jade had practically mastered her powers, but she kept having that same dream over and over again for the entire summer. She thought about how all her dreams ended with her kissing women. “I hope that doesn’t mean the mask is making me like girls,” Jade thought to herself. By now, her hair had become completely blonde. She was still living alone, with her parents providing money and utilities and food, not that she needed them with her powers.
Today was her first day of sophomore year, and she was kinda nervous. She had talked to almost everyone in her school through email, phone, and social media, and a lot of people saw pics of her, but no one ever saw her in person, so she didn’t really know how they reacted.

Jade woke up in a tropical jungle. She pulled out a mirror and saw that she looked like Lara Croft. She tried to speak, but her lips were sealed in a permanent kissy-face. Understanding that it was a dream, Jade decided to continue on.
After a short while, Jade came upon an old temple. Not knowing where an entrance was, she stopped and thought. After having these dreams for quite a while, she realized she may be able to let a small part of the dream take its course before regaining control. With some deep breathing, Jade slowly let go of the lucid dreaming just enough for her to pull a door out from in between her breasts and placing it on a wall of the temple. Jade then instantly grabbed back on to the dream, trying to keep control of it.
However, Jade didn’t do well enough. She still had control over herself, but she wasn’t able t

She looked down and saw that she wore a black and white dress, with a Jessica Rabbit-like figure. She wore no shoes and had no underwear on underneath, nor any pantyhose.
Across the field stood Miss J, in a green bikini again, with a smirk on her face. She called out, “Hello, Jade. It was nice, wasn’t it; to use the mask?”
“I didn’t feel anything,” Jade replied. “I was under your control the entire time.”
“Now, now Jade, if we are going to point fingers…” Miss J pulled out a cartoonish bomb from her breasts. “… then we might as well point with swords!” She threw t

When we last left our She Mask, Sophia Wood, she had spun off into the night, and went straight for the nearest night club. After remaining there for a few hours, she spotted a very handsome, suitable mate. He was tall, Caucasian, brown-haired and brown eyed, with big muscles. She was overwhelmed with romance. She approached him and said, “Hey, baby. How would a tall, strong, handsome man like you want to come and make some babies with a pretty girl like me?”

Alison sat there at the island in the kitchen holding a shallow glass filled to the brim with rocks and some sort of piss water passed off for whiskey staring into a mask. It had a note attached to from Todd apologizing that he couldn't make it to her company’s annual masquerade.
She wasn’t so much mad that her best red lipstick luscious cocktail dress was rotting there with a glass of whiskey instead of a cocktail. She wasn’t so much mad at the fact that Todd had picked this ugly hunk of wood as his mask to wear to tonight’s event, or the fact that the mask didn't have a strap, a stick, even a damn zipper, to hold it to his face. No she was mad that all the nights he chose to ditch her for the bar and that local sports team it had to be this night. Three years they had been together and two of those three he had made it
