Full of lurking frustrations
I believe but I do not believe
and the nonsense
That comes along the faith
Sometimes acting as a bait
That traps me within this cage
Brings out my imprisoned rage
I'm not Jimmy
Neither am I the son of Poe
I'm just another clueless rope
Waiting to get bind
By someone kind
To get rid of all these memories
And the feelings of empty
Years of meaningless guilt
That I have yet to dealt
I wait for the emergency door
Maybe an entity and more
Whenever I get too close
I have these images of white roses
Lying beside my grave
The one thing I always craved
So I snap out another time
put an end to this rhyme
Ask to my dearest Lord
Why am I just another dot?

and swallowed the ink thoughtlessly,
but no matter how long I thought,
I couldn't say what you mean to me.
I tried, I tried and I tested,
every word in my diminutive range,
but I screwed up more pieces of paper
and happened upon something strange;
I noticed words, which have served me,
for all of my formative years,
had no power to convey my gratitude
for the times that you dried my tears.
Whenever I doubt myself (often),
You're the one who tells me I'm wrong
You lift up my chin and remind me, wait
for the good things that will come along.
I can't find a way to express how
you are the saving grace in my head.
So words can't tell you how I love you -
I hope my silence will tell you instead.

An Adventure- Bilbo x Reader Chpt. 8You didn’t go back to your room but instead went in search of Blossom, finding him happily munching away in the hay filled stables of Rivendell. He gave a happy nicker when he spied you and then nuzzled at your hair with his lips when you came to him, as if trying to return it to it’s normal state. You chuckled, taking his chin in your hand and running the other down the bridge of his nose, “I know it’s different but Lady Arwen spent a good amount of time on it so let’s do try not to ruin it.”An Adventure- Bilbo x Reader Chpt. 82 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Meaning of the MundaneShe sits in a tree overhanging a river. The thick branch slopes down over the water like a swing, bringing her pointed toes within grazing distance of the surface of the amber rushing stream of snow that has forgotten it should never take a tropical vacation and now pays for it with ceaseless travel. Emerald gold sunlight dapples her blotchy tan skin, drawing out the tints of red to her rich dark hair and the flashes of sapphire blue in her smoke gray eyes. She wears tank tops and denim shorts, hair pulled back into a knot at the base of her neck, forever shoeless. A clunky anklet made of lapis lazuli circles her left ankle, and she sits, overlooking her kingdom of a branch and a river.Meaning of the Mundane4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Brilliant Smile (EnglandXReader)You trudged through the pouring rain, your poor umbrella threatening to give way if you didn't arrive home soon. Your boss had made you stay late to clear up some paperwork errors with your best friend, and even though you enjoy their company, it left you with a hand cramp and a bit peeved. You finally made it to the door of the house that you and boyfriend of 3 years had shared. You shook your umbrella out before you opened it, then discarded your rain boots and jacket with it by the front door.Brilliant Smile (EnglandXReader)2 years ago in Romance More Like This
"Arthur! Are you home?" you called, waiting for an answer from the verdant-eyed Englishman. You heard nothing but silence as you started through your home.
He should be home by now. I wonder where he is?
You made your way into the living room, still searching for him, since he usually arrives home before you do.
Is he planning something?
You spotted a single red rose in the doorway of the kitchen tied to a note. You picked it up and saw "For my dearest." in his beautiful script o

Of course, it had to be frogs. Serena stepped over them as best she could, but they were everywhere. It wasn't the kind of thing you expected to see in smallish town America. One or two, maybe. Any more than that and you're wading into witch burning territory.
Serena really didn't want to wade into witch burning territory.
“What seems to be the problem?” Serena asked, “Aside from the frogs.”
Mrs. Caprica wrung her hands---Serena had never actually seen anyone do that. Truth be told, she'd rather not see it again. The woman had probably been wound too tightly even before any of this happened.
“We just wanted a baby,” she said.
“And you tried to invoke...”
“Heqet,” she said, “She's Egyptian. Ancient Egyptian, I mean.”
“I know who she is,” Serena said, as gently as she could. The frogs were staring a little too intently.

Kissing in his bed, hands locked on his face, how difficult would it be? Phone on the bedside, the password his year of birth and high school jersey number and all she’d have to say was that he was going to spend a few days at her place. His roommates would be disappointed but not surprised. Break your heart, break your heart, that girl’ll break your heart. But none of them would count on this, no one would notice until he didn’t call his father or the unfamiliar smell of human death crept into every reach of the apartment. Keys in his pocket, cutting into her thigh, she could take them and head for the coast. Head for the border, even, and slip away. If she got caught, she’d claim she had no idea what was happening when it happened. If she got caught, she’d smoke cigarettes in prison and cut her hair short. If she got away, she’d never think of him again.
She bit until she tasted blood, and then rolled out

Sometimes when they talk to you, do you utter stupid words and end up embarrassing yourself? Its not that you want it, but just the presence of that person makes your heart beat faster and slower at the same time. Would you be brave and admit your feelings? They Say I'm GuiltyOf the nearly eighty female prisoners that had answered my request, I had narrowed my choices down to two of them. The first was a voluptuous, porcelain-skinned brunette that would make my brother drool in seconds. The second was a golden-haired, frail little piece of work, and normally I would have dismissed her during the first round of eliminations, but something kept her there. Maybe it was the way she stared at me with her venomous green eyes, but I couldn't be sure. In any case, I had my two choices set before me, each isolated in separate cells on opposite ends of the jail so that I might observe them more personally. They Say I'm Guilty3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

I wondered at what sort of lies she had told the guard because clearl

You know, I tell myself everday,
That I'm going to change - that I'll be different.
'This isn't the same; I'm not the same,' that's what I tell myself...
As I sit in front of the computer, praying time doesn't move.
Coward, you're weak and you'll always be weak! You bloody disgrace...
I pick up some new magazine, get inspired,
'I want to be like that guy,' is what I think to myself.
I give it a try for two or three days - I quit.
Same old shit again...
Making up excuses? It's what you always do, you gutless wonder...
I try to reach out with my hands,
Seeking something, anything that I can find to help myself hold on...
But I don't find it - I just find myself,
Sinking back down into the same black swamp - I'm drowning.
Awww, what's the matter? You gonna cry, you gonna cry?
Yeah, I've hit rock bottom,
And you know what? It feels pretty damn good down here.
Nice, warm, comfortable, familiar.
No pressure, no problems - just like everb

A scruffy dog by his feet, on his lips a witty remark.
Not a tooth in his mouth, but he smiles anyway.
And if you ask him why, this is what he will say:
“I have a song in my head, and a smile on my face.
I have lived a full life of both sorrow and grace.
I have love so plenty, and stories to share.
And I live my life without a worry or care.”
His wrinkles are a map of a long, lasting life.
Of hard work, three sons, and a now deceased wife.
His hearing may be bad, and his vision turning grey.
But if you ask him, this is what he will say:
“I have seen my share of wonders, my friend
And I will hear the songs in my heart to the end.
So what need have I for these senses, I ask?
If they fail me, my memories shall rise to the task.”
The old dog by his side gives a soft little whine.
Licking his hand as if to tell him it is time.
He smiles and stands, shakes my hand for goodbye.
Then wanders off with a twink
