A smiling fool said.
But he was a hypocrite because
He feared the dark beneath his bed.

Once upon a lullaby
Once upon a rhyme
Once upon a thunderstorm
Once upon a lie
Because every nightmare tends to start
With once upon a time.
My Perfect WorldMy perfect world is one of strifeMy Perfect World7 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
With tears and blood flowing free
Corpses and limbs will litter the streets
A courtesy to Death from only me
My ambitions will bear fruit
Red crimson, no other hue
Pictures will dot the remaining walls
Wistful ramblings shown with melancholic rue
The paintings speak of tragedy
Eternal suffering with no end
Of the figures that lie beneath and under ground
Faces; masks of agony and torment
Smoky plants flourish
Sprouting from maroon dirt
The flowers fall, wilting
Not a single petal unhurt
This is the world I longed for
A world where no one speaks
And nothing is left, nothing that lives
Or even a little seed
This is the world where no one is alone
For everyone reunites in death
And hurtful words and sneers are never spoken
For there isn't a single breath
There is no pain
For nothing likely can compare
There are no social statuses
For as corpses all are fair
This is the world I dreamed for
Where all my wishes wholly came true
But why is it, then..
a dollYou created mea doll6 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
painted me in porcelain
and dressed me up so nice
with frills and bows and lace
You made me
and my smile was only for you
I was bought by you
with sugary words and affection
as sweet as the candy you fed me
A china doll
sitting on your shelf and
waiting to be played with
and even collecting dust
I still smiled
only for you
Even when you painted my cheeks
with black and blue
and let me crack
you didn't care
to fix me
Taping loosely over the wounds
until I broke again
My frills flattened and bows wrinkled
and lace dirty with grime
shoved away to a back corner
of your closet
until you finally get bored again
Thief King BakuraxReader: Little Birdie“_____________, dear aren’t you having fun?” your mother asked. You gave her a small smile, but didn’t answer her. To be honest you could think of a thousand things you’d rather be doing than attending another formal party.Thief King BakuraxReader: Little Birdie7 months ago in Romance More Like This
The makeup and clothes that had been forcefully placed on you were making you feel uncomfortable. The shoes that your mother had insisted you wear were digging into your heels.
Your mother’s attention turned back to the party and you slipped away into the gardens.
“Little birdie waits all alone
Little birdie sings to the moon
Little birdie flies in the sky
Little birdie says bye bye…” you sang softly.
A voice from one of the trees lightly came down, “And what do you have here?”
You smiled. “Bakura…”
Said man jumped in front of you.
“How are you?”
His expression didn’t change. You raised your hand to cup his cheek and moved your fingers against the scar.

Of what makes an individual
Who are you? Who am I?
There’s a lack of understanding,
Yet we jump to judge
And claim to know
That which we could never understand
Attempts are seldom made
To investigate the unknown
To strive to discover
Those we claim to know
From the inside out
Extract the innermost thoughts
In place there is an idealist mirage
To which our beliefs shall cling to
In desperation, or disbelief
It’s the construct of our mindset
That leads us all astray

Yet we choose to look at cats?
Freedom to voice our every thought
A privilege left unchecked
A steaming pit of tricks and trolls
Accessories now abused
Drowning in the vanity
And self obsessed depravity
Our lives uploaded; digitalised
Essence poured upon the screen
Entitled to an opinion
Set up for a response
Like throwing a lump of meat
To a pack of wild dogs
“Ten years ago, these people would not be allowed crayons,
Let alone use of the internet”

The whispers in your mind
The words on your tongue
The voice in your throat
And the feelings in your soul
To drive to madness
To seduce the insane
To draw the blood
And dull the senses
To plague the memories
Of damage done
To fake safe haven
As the character changes
Light the anger and fuel the rage
Another mind to feed
A second shadow
To take you into eternity
I asked myselfI ask myself,I asked myself5 months ago in Emotional More Like This
"What is peace?"
My brain answers first, using poetic phrases, wrapped in smooth silk.
"An autumn morning, the dew rolling off gold and crimson leaves as winter winds send chills down sheltered spines. The essence of spring afternoons and summer nights."
I ask myself,
"What is peace?"
The heart breaks through, flooding my body with a joyful beat.
"Piano notes flowing through sweet air, while flames engulf rose scented candles. Innocence purifying the poisoned minds of the wounded."
I ask myself,
"What is peace?"
The soul finally speaks, it's words clearer than any other.
"An icy knife in a burning body, throwing you off the edge on which you were born. It is what we experience as children, and what we fight for as adults."

Your emotions so vengeful, but your conscience unwilling.
Step three: Blame.
Using boney fingers, through fragile armor you rip.
Step four: Forgiveness.

A little lie and a peaceful sigh
A quick fix to ease my fears.
It starts off soft with ‘little white ones’
A little more each day, a few more couldn’t hurt
Or could they?
More and more you’re into deep, there is no turning back
You’ve sold your story and your soul
As you wash that bitter taste down with a little Jack
Fabricating your whole life, pretending you're something you're not
It makes you no better, no favors you gain
Yet you do it over and over again
Now IOh I slowly drown,Now I6 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
In all those walls I built,
As they crumble down,
Every block a chunk of guilt.
I always kept you out,
Pushed you a ways away,
But you found an easy route,
Now I cry day by day.
But you leave so easily,
I look on helplessly,
Tore down all my walls,
Now I slowly fall.
I never let you in,
And that is why you broke,
Feels like such a sin,
Cause now I steadily choke.
When you got inside,
You were already gone,
The news of your suicide,
Like my heart is pierced by bone.
Lost it all.

And every light seen will soon be gone
And take all that we hold dear.

Are empty words that mean nothing,
And empty thoughts, both dumb and dull
Rule your mind like a broken king.
I can't tell whether you know me,
You're busy knowing your ideal.
But I know what you are: empty.
Now you'll understand what I feel.
