"She'll be so surprised when she sees we're back," Sora chortled.
"I know, let's go sneak up on her," Riku giggled.
They slowly and carefully swam out to her, remembering to dive whenever she turned around. Suddenly, Riku stopped.
"Riku! What are you doing??!! She'll see you!"
"I'm sorry! My hair is stuck on coral or something again!"
"AHHHHH! I told you to cut it after we defeated Xemnas!"
"Hey, it's not that bad! And I kinda like it. I think it's manly."
"It's like three feet long! That's not so manly. You looked better with it shorter. But it's OK. Very few guys can get away with a look like that. Remember Organization XIII? Lots of long hair, very few manly men."

Sora could feel his heart beating in his chest, as if he could hear his blood pumping past his ears. He wondered briefly why that was all he could hear, was it because it was louder than it should be, or was it because it was the only sound to be heard?
Thump. Thump. Thump.
He started to feel himself moving, not moving... falling. Slowly, as if he weighed almost nothing at all. He began to hear what sounded like wind, a soft breeze blowing past his ears as he fell.
Whistle. Thump. Whistle. Thump.
Sora slowly opened his eyes, only realising just then that they were closed... or even that he had eyes. His eyes opened slowly, they hurt as if he were looking at a bright light, but all he could see was pitch blackness wherever he looked.
"Where am I?" he said aloud, his voice seemed to bounce back at him from some corner of the darkness
"Where am I? Where...
