Operation: Saturday Morning Cartoons! So, what with Vortexx ending and the Hub shrinking it's broadcasting hours so to speak, :iconandrewk: wants to save Saturday morning cartoons. So he pitched to me the idea about creating an hour long livestream show filled with works by indie animators.Operation: Saturday Morning Cartoons!1 year ago in Personal More Like This
We're hoping to have it feel just like a Saturday morning cartoon block, with bumpers and commercials (promoting web comics or artists or whatever). And since I have over an hour of animated content I can provide, it'll be a great place to premiere brand new episodes of Toons These Days, Team Teen, Toon Watch, my time-lapse video series "Doodley", a new Conroy Cat series, and other Dtoons produced shows past, present, and future.
Here's a rundown on ideas we have:
- a video site online would host 1 half-hour per weekend on Saturday morning.
- each episode would be comprised of around 10-20 animated shorts from online animators.
- each short will span all animation mediums, narrative or musical video, with the only requirement bein
A Good Day To Live!Life has its troubles, some people more than others. But any day, no matter how dark the circumstances and what you've done, God still wants you to be a part of His life. He still wants you, knowing the mess that you are. He loves you. He always has.A Good Day To Live!1 year ago in Personal More Like This

God in the Old TestamentMany non-Christians take issue with God's actions in the Old Testament. But I've noticed a pattern in their arguments. They say "God killed those people so He's evil" and say nothing else about the incident. This leads me to believe they don't know the context of what they're upset about, nor have they done the research to see the pattern of God's actions. Below, I have broken down 5 instances of God's judgment.God in the Old Testament3 years ago in Academic Essays More Like This
1. The Global Flood
a. The world was full of evil people, sin, and corruption. (Gen. 6:5), (Gen. 6:1-2)
b. God warns that He will flood the world to destroy the evil (Gen. 6:13)
c. Noah preached to the people of the world for about 100 years to repent from their evil, warning them what was to come (2 Peter 2:5)
d. Only Noah's family remained loyal to God, so God's forewarned judgment falls (Gen. 7:17)
e. Conclusion: God used His messenger Noah to warn a corrupt culture to repent but they didn't even after 100 years. And we find God's mercy being displayed on the one fami

WordsmithHave you ever noticed how long words sound like they fit together whilst making absolutely no sense whatsoever?Wordsmith4 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Like: Technically, synonyms in ridiculing conjunction rotate directionally.
Or: Labyrinthine doctoring combined with revelations mutates into conumdrumaic, Cassandraic meanderings.
(Rather like this page of words)
Words like that are like ropes, coily, twisting strings to tie us to each other or set us free.
Some words are hard, shielding. Opaque. Protect. Hold. The rings in a sheet of chain mail, the over lapping scales of armour.
Others are clean, sharp, cutting, the knives and bullets and arrowheads of literature.
Words are like delicate, lacelike filigree, like a necklace of thoughts: opulence, elegance, beauty.
Some words sound wholesome, clean, like nourishment for the soul. Loam is one of them. Sleep is another.

Gonna create a simple solution
Gonna take away the constitution
And make it our own.
Rise up to the occasion
Add up the equation
Speak up for all we know
And kill all those who hurt us so.
Wanna scream and shout it
Everyone's gonna talk about it
We're gonna stand up to it
Nothing else to do but do it.
Wanna be heard and known
When we all have grown
Remembering a home
In a time that wasn't our own.
The broken are gonna rise up
The children are gonna wise up
The heartless fill with laughter
At this happily ever after.
Gonna be proud of us
Not put ourselves in the dust
Stop the cutting and pain
And take back what we need to regain.
We're gonna start a revolution
Stand up with a simple solution
Gonna break in the constitution
And make it our own.
Proof of GodTo start off, I'd like you to take a moment to consider why it is you don'tProof of God5 years ago in Academic Essays More Like This
believe our God exists.
You cannot stay in a state of lacking belief in God. After all, my dog doesn't believe in God, either, but she's not an atheist. To state that you simply don't believe is not sufficient. There must be a reason. On a similar note, I don't believe "blind faith" is sufficient either. I don't just "believe" in God, I have reasons for my beliefs. Either you have accepted the idea of God, or you have rejected it.
So what is the cause for your rejection? What is the basis that you found this view on? When put under speculation, is it adequate? Is it flawed? Is it subjective? This first section of my "essay" deals with reasons you might have for rejecting that our God exists, and refuting them.
I believe there is no God because . . .
1. There's no proof.
That statement is subjective. I'm probably going to use this word a lot, so here's a quick definition: subjective means biased or one-s
