Shepard: BorderEffect Skill TreeCommander Shepard:
DAHL Intel Report
Traits: Determined, Headstrong, Badass
Action Skill: Phasebreak
Shepard learns how to channel her Siren energy into a tactically powerful Action Skill that she calls PhaseBreak. As a Siren's powers manifest, they tend to take form in a single spell......specifically tailored to that particular Siren (Phasewalk, Phaselock, Phaseshift.....and so on). Shepard can envelop an enemy in a hyper-reactive space-time field, effectively stripping them of shields and/or armor.....even breaking their very mind, rendering them effectively inept and helpless. If the target has no shields, it dazes them temporarily, giving a few seconds breathing room.
Skill tree that ties into her newly awakened Siren spell, while combining it with her own personal tech and abilities.
Fortification: Increases her shield capacity and shield recharge

*sigh* "Hard to believe its all over."
A small tug at his leg snaps him back to reality. Looking down, he spies little Syren looking up at him hesitantly, a teddy bear clutched tightly in one arm. A warm smile spreads across his face.
"Something I can do for you, Little Bit?"
Syren blushes furiously and looks down at her feet. Wrex chuckles to himself. (She is so unlike her father) "It's alright, I don't bite."
Syren looks back up at the old warrior and quietly asks, "Charge?" Wrex throws back his head and roars with laughter. "Spoken like a true Shepard." With one fluid motion he reaches down and scoops her up and onto his shoulders.
"Alright young one, I want you to hold on tight. Here WE GO!!!! RAARRRRR!!!!"
Kaycee stands quietly on the porch with Liara's head on her shoulder. They watch silently as Wrex thunders past with their youngest yelling "KROGAN!!!!"
"You alright Shepard?"

"Aunt Tali!" are the only words she hears before a blue streak rockets into her midsection. Tali glances down as she tries to catch her breath. Little Ayrene looks up at her with sheer joy in her eyes, her arms wrapped tightly around Tali's waist. "Well look at you, I can't believe how much you've grown Aya.
Tali glances up to see Liara standing in the doorway with a bemused expression on her face, her hands placed on the bulge at her stomach. Tali's eyes widen "Keelah, Liara! Why didn't you tell me?"
Liara chuckles, "Shepard figured your reaction would be priceless."
Tali shakes her head, "That little........."
Ayrene finally extricates herself from her. "Can we play Aunt Tali?"
"I'm sorry Aya, I've got to talk to your mom for awhile."
Ayrene looks crestfallen. Tali kneels down to her eye level. "Tell you what, I may not be able to play with you, but how would you like to play with Chiktikka vas Paus?"
She activates her omni-tool and a purple sphere materiali

Liara stares at herself in the mirror, the silky white dress hugging her slender frame. Kaycee's voice sounds from the bedroom, "Liara, sweetie? You almost ready? The babysitter will be here soon."
Liara sighs. "Are you sure this is such a good idea?"
She hears a chuckle from behind the door. "Really? That's what you're worried about? It'll be fine. It's not like she's never been around kids before."
"That's different. They were students, not our daughters."
She hears the click of the door opening, before Kaycee's arms wrap around her, chin on Liara's shoulder. Liara's eyes close as Kaycee places a kiss gently on her neck. "Liara. I trust her."
Liara grumbles something but falls silent, grasping Kaycee's hands in hers. Shepard smiles, "By the way, you look simply gorgeous." Liara notices Kaycee's outfit for the first time. "Wait .isn't that the outfit Kasumi got you?"
Shepard nods, "It's not like I have that many dresses sweetie. You know I'm not usua

Liara walks over to the window and lifts her daughter into her arms so she can get a better look. "That, sweetie, is Samara. She's a good friend of your father and I. She's a justicar."
Rinyn looks up at her mother with a puzzled expression. "What's a justicar?"
"They're an old order of asari warriors. They are proud, noble, and selfless. Actually, they're like the heroes in the stories your dad reads to you."
Rinyn's eyes widen in wonder, her gaze moving back to the justicar. "Wow....she's like a superhero."
Liara chuckles to herself. "Not exactly sweetie. She's a hero to be sure, but she'd tell you that she's not any different than you or I."
"What's dad doing out there with her? They're just sitting there."
"It's called meditation sweetheart."
"I know, but it's actually really good for you. It lets you clear your mind and helps your focus. Why

"Liara, honey. The girls are almost ready. How's it coming with your costume?"
Liara Shepard looks at herself in the mirror, the long black dress hugging her curves, a wide-brimmed pointed hat resting on the counter. With the black lipstick and eyeshadow she doesn't recognize the woman looking back at her in the mirror. "I'm not so sure about this Kaycee. I'm not usually one for putting on costumes."
Kaycee's voice sounds from the bedroom, a note of laughter in her tone, "Everyone agreed to dress up this year, and that includes you dear. Besides, I can't wait to see you in the costume I got you."
"Isn't this a little......racy to take the girls out Trick-or-treating?"
"Kinda the point Liara. Plus, Kim's offered to help watch the girls afterwards while we go to the party."
Liara gives a sigh as she puts the hat on, transforming the demure archeologist into a living breathing witch. As she exits the bathroom, Kaycee gives a low whistle as she begins

"Aww, come on. Again?"
Velair screws up her eyes, taking in the chessboard. Sure enough, her king was in check by the black queen. "I should have listened to my dad. I don't think I'll be able to beat you."
The synthetic woman across from her smiles. "Maybe. Maybe not. I have found that it's the unknown that makes the game fun."
Velair puts her hands to her temples, gently rubbing them. "That's easy for you to say Aunt EDI. You've already played through your next hundred moves in your head. I'm stuck barely holding my own."
Noticing Velair's obvious frustration, EDI tries a different tactic. "If it makes you feel better, you are doing far better than your father ever did. She would always take the offensive, and end up getting crushed."
Velair looks up at her, "Heh, that does sound like dad. Be honest though, no one's ever beaten you, have they?"
"You'd be surprised. Your mom is actually the only one to date that has successfully beaten me. So don't lose hope Velair, even I ma

Ayrene giggles in anticipation and nods. Kasumi gives a sly smile, "Good, aoi kaze. The first lesson is to be as silent as possible....that means no giggling (*wink*)"
Ayrene tries to keep a straight face, but lapses back to giggling. Kasumi tickles her, "If you alert the target, you've already lost."
Kasumi looks out across the yard to where Liara and Kaycee sit together on the porch resting. Liara sleeps soundly in Shepard's arms. Kasumi turns back to Ayrene. "Okay, let's go over the list.....master thief? Check. Loyal apprentice?" Ayrene gives her a big smile. "Close enough. Finally, the water balloons?"
Ayrene pats the tub of water balloons next to them. "Check!!"
Kasumi turns back to the target. "Okay you know what to do?"
Ayrene nods as Kasumi picks up two balloons. "Remember, we'll have only a few seconds to get off as many before they start running."

Miranda looks down at the young asari holding her hand. "We're going to have a little fun today. You ready?"
Ayrene nods, a big grin plastered on her face. She sees the car that Miranda drove up in. A sleek, black convertible with silver trim rests in the driveway. Miranda buckles Ayrene into the passenger seat, before getting in. A push of a button and the engine roars to life. Miranda looks over at Ayrene, one corner of her mouth turning upwards into a sly smile. "Let's make your mother worry some. Hang on, sweetie."
She floors the gas pedal, peeling out of the driveway, leaving a blacked streak on the surface. The car speeds away like a missile. With the winds blowing through her hair, she can barely make out the squeals of delight from Aya. Glancing out of the corner of her eye, she sees the young asari laughing and waving her arms in the air. Once they are about ten miles away from the Shepard house, she begins to slow down. "So? "Mordin, I'm sorry."
"I'm not, had to be me....Someone else might have gotten it wrong."
A tear runs down Kaycee's cheek at the thought. "I miss you Mordin. You were always crazy, but I never knew a gentler soul. Wish you could have had your retirement. The kids would have loved you."
More tears begin to fall."I'm so sorry Mordin. I should have found another way."

Jack stands unsure in the doorway, watching both Shepard and Liara taking off in the dark blue car. She takes a deep breath, "Well, here goes nothing."
The sounds of shuffling footsteps reaches her ears. Turning she sees little Syren coming towards her, a dark brown teddy bear clutched tightly to her chest with both arms. She comes to stop right in front of Jack, looking up into her brown eyes with a mixture of apprehension and curiosity. Suddenly she holds out the bear to Jack. "Well now, who's this?"
Syren doesn't say anything for a few seconds, but then quietly says, "Athena."
Jack crouches down and takes the bear's paw. "Hi there Athena. Are you one of Syren's friends?"
Syren blushes slightly and nods, the makings of a smile beginning to play upon her lips. Her bright eyes fall on the various tattoos covering Jack's arms. She hesitantly reaches out and touches the intricate designs on Jack's forearm. "....So pretty...."
Jack chuckles to herself. "You like these?"

She walked alone through the tall, wrought-iron gates as she had so many times before and into the lush, green reserve that bore the name Shepard's Park. The trees had grown so tall since the first time she came here. Back then they were just hastily planted saplings that only came up to her waist. Now they towered over her and shaded the people in the park from the hot afternoon sun. A light breeze stirred from the east and blew pleasantly in and around the trees rustling the leaves and branches. Liara couldn't help but smile as the cool breeze caressed her skin as she strolled towards the center of the sprawling park to the only building, the only construct on the three hundred acre lot.
Here and there people enjoyed the beautiful weather playing games, walking among the trees or having picnics as chirping birds looked down from the branches and dogs frolicked in the grass. Many took notice of her, bein

The kitchen is a blue blur as Liara rushes to get things prepared. Kaycee strolls in and puts her arms around her wife. "Shepard, I don't have time. Things need to be ready."
"What's the big deal? It's just your father coming to dinner. She's a riot to be around."
"It's not just that, she's bringing a date along. Is Ayrene dressed and ready?"
"Sweetie, you need to relax, I think its great that Aethyta is still able to see people at her age."
"I am more worried of what kind of person she'd bring."
"That.......is a good point."
The doorbell rings. Ayrene rushes past "I'll get it dad!"
Shepard begins to protest, but smiles, ("so helpful"). She hears the door open and Ayrene's voice. "Grandma! Uncle Z!"

Eden Prime, 17 years after the destruction of the Reapers:
Ambassador Liara T'Soni-Shepard returned home and started preparing some after-school snacks for her children without even changing out of the traditional pure white with gold trim dress she wore to official functions.
Liara was happy and occasionally caught herself staring out the sliding kitchen doors that opened to the huge porch that over looked the big back yard which ended at the shores of the crystal clear glacial lake. A lake named Lake Shepard, much to her husband's chagrin. On the other side of the lake snow-capped mountains towered over everything, reaching into the clear, azure sky. It was breath-taking.
Her lithe figure moved gracefully around the kitchen as she gathered items and mentally ticked off nutritional values. She loved it when she got home in time to do this, but her duties usually held her
