Steve stared questioningly at Tony, (who was currently shoveling down the pancakes Steve forced him to eat) then at the device that Tony had placed into his hands. Steve assumed it was the newest edition of the StarkPhone, if it was even a phone, seeing as it was huge, and it looked downright confusing. Steve wasn't even sure how to turn the screen on. Where were the buttons?
Setting the device back down on the table between them, Steve looked up and raised a questioning eyebrow at his boyfriend. "What is this, and why did you give me it?"
Tony bit his lip, a flash of guilt crossing his face before he smiled a big, stupid, smile. It didn't make it any better that he still had syrupy pancakes in his mouth. Still, Steve thought it was cute."Well, Steve, my love, my heart, my joy, my-"
"Get on with it," Steve said with a smirk. "What did you do this time?" Tony looked extremely offended at Steve's words.

It was night time, and Tony Stark was flying. Flying away from something.
Something that was trying to kill him.
It seemed, that no matter how hard he craned his neck or he tried to focus on the creature chasing him, it stayed a dark blur amongst the bright city lights. Tony knew if he slowed down, he would die. So he pushed his Iron Man suit to it's absolute limits to stay away from said blur, even though Jarvis repeatedly told him that it was unsafe.
"Sir, if you don't slow down, you'll drain all your battery within minutes. Your suit has already taken too much damage for you to push it like this," Jarvis informed him for what seemed the millionth time.
When the hell had he 'taken damage to his suit'? Tony thought as he twisted his way in between the tall buildings of New York. A large ball of fire almost hit him in the back as he swooped low to dodge it. And when the fuck had he gotten back to New York?
