He wanted to push her away, lest she would make him act. He could've done that easily, if it was someone else. But this woman this woman was different. It wasn't just the fact that she out did him by scores with respect to physical strength. There was something else, about her!
She had taken over his mind
"Thanks for saving me!" she whispered with uncharacteristic modesty which was restricted only to her tone, and not to be seen on her face. What a perfect restraint!
"I " he tried to breathe out quickly and noiselessly, the usual technique he employed to calm down his heart. But that didn't seem to work. Instead, his breath got stuck in his throat and he struggled to swallow without wincing.
The cold expression on the face he had so practiced for years just wouldn't stick. His lips seemed to have a brain of their own, for they refused to close the gap they created, something which his original m
Good MorningShe did not need an alarm to wake her up. The soft rays of the morning sun together with hint our clouds, when filtered through the glass of the window and diffracting at the fringes of the curtain, bathed the room in an illumination of a mélange of colors. It was as though they were sent out to bless her, the daughter of Gods as she was. She squinted a bit, as her eyes failed to accommodate the entirety. It felt strange. She ducked in reflex, burying her face back into the pillow. It seemed harder than usual. Something about the scent too it smelled like musk. She turned her face to the left, without lifting herself up. She smiled with satisfaction at what she saw. Her man - lay fast asleep, unperturbed by the sunshine. It was too small an amount to disturb him. Normally, Alfred would open the curtains, and sometimes even the window, to give a rise

"Tiny Tiffany" was the name that she could seem to never escape. Ever since she was a young girl, Tiffany was simply smaller than everyone else. As a little kid, her parents always reassured her that eventually she'd catch up with all the others. As time went on however, both her siblings and her classmates kept growing and growing while she remained small and frail.
Despite already being 12 years old, she stood at a measly 4'10", and was painfully thin with a mere 80 pounds on her frame. Her parents assured her that she would hit puberty and grow soon enough, but watching all of her female friends blossom right in front of her left doubt in her mind. Some of her friends had even started to develop decently sized breasts, and nice round butts. Tiffany on the other hand remained flat... small... and weak.

A slight humming sound echoed through the room. Emma quickly determined where the noise was coming from. Three small red dots appeared and expanded into a rotating field of red. She watched, fascinated as the fields slowly grew. She looked at Kent, and he is frozen. The clock's second-hand moved so slowly only her enhanced senses could tell it was moving.
As she examined the dots, she realized they were the Liberty Squad teleporters. They only take a second or so to teleport someone in. As she watched the glows, she saw some tell-tale pulsing of colors, and deduced that it was the relative mass of the people beaming in, which enabled her to guess their identities. She pondered for a moment, and figured she might as well be prepared for their arrival.
She zipped down the hall and collected some supplies and came back to the lab. She laid down a patch of an ultra slick gel. Then

Life was tough for Tara at the age of 19. She was the young mother of a newly born baby, and the man who should have been its father ran away. At first she struggled with trying to provide for her newborn son. There were many months that she was positive she wouldn't make ends meet, but managed to barely scrape by. After four long, agonizing years, her older brother's small business suddenly boomed overnight. Before she knew it, the boy who teased her nonstop while they were growing up was now providing her with a decent living. He always offered more, but Tara's pride prevented her from taking more than they needed to be comfortable. Even with his assistance, Tara went to work part-time while Cory was at school, and slowly expanded her hours as the boy grew older and more capable.

The sun glowed a deep yellow orange as it neared the horizon when Ironhide stopped in front of Will Lennoxs house. Being away from his family for so long and facing the incredible battles of the past few days was more than any man could handle.

Will paused, cracking the door halfway, Yeah. Not a bad patch of Earth eh?
The black Autobot scanned the surrounding area, It has optimal visual range to spot any potential attack, but I see no outer defenses for your dwelling.
The man smirked, Yeah, well, a mans castle is not necessarily his fortress.

Fire and FlightSpeed. That was the unshakeable law the Arcee triplets lived by. It had ensured their survival on Cybertron, and it had also been a catalyst in taking down fugitive Decepticons on Earth. There was one of the three triplets, however, that did not always abide by this law: Chromia. She oftentimes became the cause of her sisters' worry with her habit of lagging back to fight enemies, instead of speeding off to safety like Arcee and Flareup. Unlike her sisters, Chromia's grudge against the Decepticons dictated most of her actions, and it troubled the two greatly. They oftentimes expressed this concern to her, but she would have none of it. This grudge did have a gentler consequence, for it caught the optics of a fellow comrade, Ironhide. Lucy was laid asleep in the hamster home when she heard the quiet thud of Ceri's door closing and the light sound of her voice from across the room. She stirred from the strips of fabric in her little house and decided to go to greet her mistress. When it came down to it the thought of going to greet her owner like a trained puppy still annoyed her, disappointed with herself for letting go of so much of her humanity.

Cory was definitely on to something; her body was indeed using every nutrient available to it, and in a manner far more efficient than anyone else. There was something she didn't quite agree with, though. While Cory theorized that she

The tears fell in soft whimpers to the sheet, the tiny girl covering her face with the blanket to block out the images that assaulted her in the darkness of her room. Those soft cobalt eyes still clouded with tears, the long auburn curls locked into twin braids that she tugged now and again in her fear and frustration.
