Mass Effect: The Fall Part 1 Chapter 8 Section 1
GAEL'RA VAS MOREH
September 1st 2186
12:05 PM Over Cheshunt, North of London.
It began at 12:00 as their two shuttles lifted off from St Paul's Square. Hackett had been there to see them off as well as a small crowd of soldiers and leaders. Admiral Raan had given Tali last minute advice and a hug. Then she came to Gael and provided him with words of wisdom. Gael had heard one too many words of wisdom in his 21 years of life. This was the most important mission this far in his life. He had put on his best engineering suit and didn't have to be told to bring ammo his explosives and his M-25 Hornet that was given to him by the requisition officer. He felt the weight of his mission as he took his seat in the closest shuttle. As Tali sat down next to him he felt she good she was here. She had always been his guardian angel. The shuttle they were taking was the smallest of the Alliance Shuttle Classes. It could fit 5 people. One in the cockpit and four in the seating area behind the cockpit.

Operation Azure: Status: (Complete)
New Objective: [ Return to Galactic Federation HQ for Debrief and Reassignment ]
Location: FS-176 System
It had been another successful mission, protecting a large convoy of colonists, and her 200th Completed mission. It was an attempt at trying to heal the tensions between the Galactic Federation and herself, after she destroyed the B.S.L Station.Even though her trust of the Federation was straining she still felt somewhere inside of her that she should still try to help her government. After completing this mission, she had broken the record for the most missions completed by any bounty hunter. She sat back in her cockpit chair as her orange and red ship hurtled through space at 4 times the speed of light. She was heading home. For the moment she could relax and she retracted her helmet. The cockpit was quiet except for the slow hum of the ships engines. The lights flickering off the controls and the green li

Mike: “Are the calculations correct?”
Michael was pacing himself towards the Conference room door. Dr. Musashi was trying to keep up with him:
Musashi: “Yes Michael they are...Dr. Koher assured me they were all correct”
Mike: “Good. Now let's go impress some bureaucrats with our tech skills”
They reached the door and he pulled it open. The room was crowded with press as well as the various CEOs of just about every single video game company. Everyone had wanted to come and see renowned Dream-Maker for themselves. Everyone was in conversation and only a few turned to see him enter. Tension was high and it made him feel slightly nervous, which was rare for him. He saw Nintendo's President, Satoru Iwata in the back near the large windows that lined one side of the room. Satoru bowed his head slightly and smiled and he returned it with a bow. H

Your pain and frustration
I reach to you
To ease you heart and soul
I gather you
I my arms
I see your smile
And my heart grows warm
I show my love
You glow and more
As we lay
In each other’s arms
Nothing ever was so easy
So simple and demure
Nothing ever was so hard
Problematic, intense, tangled
Our love is sweet
Pure, easy and serene
You have my soul
Resting easy in your palm
I give all
In your arms
Life is hard
But we are not
You know the truth
As I also do
In your arms

The room appeared to be some kind of control center, however the heavily armed soldiers guardian the room said it was fully functional fortress under ground. He glanced around the flowing screens and buttons. One screen had a map of some country that was covered in red glowing lights. Above it said: "Emergency Alert System". He knew something extraordinary was happening, he just didn't know how it happened.
He had been napping in his Pipe House while Luigi was out tending to his garden. When without warning he was woken up by an intense light as a vortex swallowed him up. The process was disorienting and he didn't know when it would stop. Seconds later, he had come to in the middle of a white stone city white a large pillar that topped a long grassy park with a man-made lake. His brother, Luigi had also been caught by the vorte

Silence .well, not perfect silence but a familiar and comforting one nonetheless. The hum of the ship and its crew going about their daily activities was something Shepard had come to find a certain peace in. The Alliance had given her a sense of belonging and the people she met and served with gave her a sense of family. Following in her parents footsteps gave her a sense of purpose. She never expected to come as far as she had. Still, it made her sad to know that her father would never know or see what his daughter had accomplished. Standing in the cockpit with Joker looking out the window, watching the stars streak by in the vast expanse of space, she was lost in thought
"Commander? ....Joker to Shepard .Hello?"
" ..what?" she absently answered still staring out the window.
"Oh nothing, you know, just trying to fly the ship here. Waiting for your orders while the Reapers hunt our ass and Cerberus gets away the usual."
Peeved, she turn

“This is the Pilot speaking we are taking a longer route to bypass a channel storm. It will be an extra hour before we land in Hamburg. I apologize for the inconvenience”
He sighed and sagged in his seat. He had not been up and about in 6 hours since the plane took off. He heard another person in front of his section say:
“What the hell man...why can't this plane go through it?”
Another voice responded:
“Cause the winds will rip us apart you numb skull!”
Most of the plane was filled with businessmen eager to get their overseas meetings over with and return home. The economy had not been doing good for over two decades and some believed the world's economy would never bounce back. The last US President, a Republican named Paul Ryan had a to

The Citadel was a complete mess. Buildings still had holes in them. The blood of the fallen still covered the walls. But people still lived on as though nothing had happened a few weeks ago, they still went to shop at the local stores, they still went to see the new Blasto movie, and they still gossiped about John Shepard's relationship status.
Maybe he's into Asari, thought some.
Maybe he likes only humans, hoped others.
But they were all wrong. He did not enjoy any of those as mates. No he had preferred the most unbelievable of choices. He had preferred Quarians. Specifically Tali Zorah vas Normandy.
Unfortunately no one but a few of the crew of the Normandy SR2 knew about this relationship. The rest of the universe was completely oblivious. They still tried to get with the Universe's Hero.

Both he, Tali, Liara, Ashley, Vega, Javik and Joker stood in front of the memorial wall. They had just placed EDI's and Anderson's name up on the wall. The only name left to add was Shepard's. Garrus placed a hand on her shoulder.
"No," she said sternly. "I'm not ready to give up on him." Tali walked away from the memorial wall. "We need to get back to earth as soon as possible. Shepard will need our help."
The elevator door opened and she went inside. The doors closed. The others looked at each other and shook their heads.
"She's still not ready to accept it," Liara said.
"I'm not sure, I'm ready to accept it," Vega said. "I mean it's Commander Shepard! He already died once already."
"But he was at the epicenter of the energy wave," Ash said.
"You all should be glad," Javik muttered. "The reaper threat is over. The Commander accomplished his mission."
"Yeah, that's great and all, but at this high of a cost?" Vega re
