This is a Kirin doe that I airbrushed in "Blue Fawn". This test-paint kirin was sold on ebay. She has metallic blue glass eyes and a gold plated pewter horn. She's about 6 1/2 inches long. She is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture, produced by Windstone editions. [link]
I airbrushed this male griffin with a dark face and spotted pattern, and we thought he looked like a spotted hyena. This sculpture is about 10 inches tall, and he has brown glass eyes. He was sold on Ebay. This is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions.
This is the Pegasus stallion painted like a quagga. Quaggas are an extinct race of plains zebra. This one's markings resemble the "reconstructed" quaggas that have been bred from zebras, because he has the white area around his muzzle and bright black and white stripes . I'm pretty sure quaggas had stripy wings like this. He was sold from a new section of our online store that we made for odd, special stuff: [link]
I airbrushed each individual scale of this male Kirin with shading like the scales of a stylized silver koi. I forgot to count them again.
He is a gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture produced by Windstone editions. This kirin will eventually be sold either on ebay or out of the "special pieces" section of the Windstone Editions online shop.
A Gothic unicorn painted like a Quagga. Gothic unicorns are more goat-like than modern unicorns, they have short tails and very long horns. This sculpture is about 5 inches long. His horn is gold plated pewter horn and he has brown glass eyes. This was a special test painted piece that was sold on ebay.
I airbrushed this meerkat's wings to be similar in markings to those of a sand grouse. He is a character from "the Veligent", a comic I have been posting here on DA. ( A page with meerkats: [link]) (and here: [link]) He is made of cast gypsum, has brown glass eyes and he's about 5 1/2 inches tall. These 'kats will eventually be sold from the Windstone online store, when we get enough castings of them. [link]
