Yay another compleated commission, this time for . Its of their characters Eritrea (on the left)and Jayce (on the right), in some kind of matching military like outfits. Im really happy with how their poses came out, Eritrea is my fave in this pic.
A doodle of Miss.Violet doing yoga. I wanted to experiment with changing her hair a bit because I kept noticing that allot of my characters have a similar hair style. So i tried an open forehead look like a friend suggested but kept some of her usual hair spikes, i think she looks pretty good. I think i need to work on finding a body shape for her and sticking to it, because she seems to vary from being very shapely to fit. I looked up yoga poses and tried to find the one that would seem the less fan-servicey.
The whole idea of putting her in a yoga outfit was inspired by a pic did recently, of a woman in 80s leotards.
just waiting to hear back on some commissions, so i drew my muscle-y woman Susan. I didnt really have a plan but for some reason i wanted to draw a shirt with an arrow on it, and i saw some other artists, like Dadward, mixing in some blending shades to their art so I thought id experiment with that too
Yay managed to finish this pic of Miss Violet and Susan in sort of futuristic clothes. I had finished Miss Violet the other day but I have had so many miss Violet pics in a row that i figured i should only post this when Susan was finished too.
Miss.Violet's clothes where inspired by Tenchi Muyo lady clothes. Shes not wearing her glasses because she has some implants that correct her vision and make her eyes sort of glow, like Geordi Laforge in a few of the Star Trek movies. She also has like a teaching gauntlet which projects her teaching material, and she can also take notes with it by positioning her hand as she would to write. the badge shes wearing is like her normal ID tag only it can project a 3D ID of her.
Susan i had to redo, because the first version looked to much like some kind of battle suit and wasn't really futuristic looken. Well maybe if it was a distopian future it would have worked but that's not the look i'm going for. Her clothes are suppose to be kind of armored but is also really flexible so it doesn't restrict her movement too much but can still block a few bullets. the collar on her clothes is suppose to be like a radio she talks into when she needs to talk to other cops, and shes wearing a retractable visor that gives her an AR display showing important information on suspects, its a bit of a mix of the scouters from DBZ and Raiden's Augment mode in MGRR.
I was looking through some old sketches and i found one i did of Alice Tompkins from the show "the Critic" but instead of just scanning the sketch i had i just drew her again, but in more of a chibi style, which is kind of inspired by some other artist. I really dig her design and her voice.
Been wanting to do some pictures showing more details, and to have a more established design for them. So here's Lara, I may do more pics with more detailed explanation of her clothes, her bracelet, tail ring, how her ears are attached to her head, and how her tail is connected to her spine (i had always imagined that one of her lumbar vertebra is shaped like a "Y")
