Pendulum of BeliefBelief is the great strength an flaw of man. Whether belief drive us through the unachievable, or drive us to madness. Tis not for I to say. Yet alas alas, belief can drive us to an area of the mind. A part of the soul our humanity once lost. Throwing the door of wonder and the imagination open. To fill our heads with prose, and rhyme. Tis thing ye call belief, can open the mind and soul, to a power 'twas once unimaginable to us. Yet alas alas thy dear young child, you shan't forget, or ye only be a fool. Belief tis a doubled edged blade, and can go either way. A unbalanced scale on the top of a sword. 'Twas belief a gift, or the curse of the soul's madness. As the pendulum swings, the balance tinkering oh so softly and lightly. Shall the pendulum carry ye to a world a new, or drive thy soul into the maws of madness twisting thee to thy very core. Which will it be as the pendulum swings.Pendulum of Belief5 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Goodnight and Sweet DreamsIt's pretty easy to love you.Goodnight and Sweet Dreams1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
You know that?
It is but you don't understand why.
But that's okay.
I don't understand why you love me.
But I'm happy that you do.
Even though I can't have you.
Why can't I have you?
How many poems does it take to get to the center of your heart?
Let's find out.
The world may never know.
The world may never know when I'm going to be with you.
A promise is what I hang on to.
A promise that we would be together eventually.
A promise that you would never lose feelings for me.
A promise that we would be so happy together.
That's the promise I hang on to.
And I'll keep hanging on to it because I don't feel my fingers slipping yet.
If they slip and I start falling.
I hope you're there to catch me.
If you do I would be happier then ever.
That's what you want?
For me to be happy?
Well I'm not happy.
I'm far from it.
It's a looooong walk to "HappyTown".
And I'm all out of bus money.
