PuritanArt"Your deviation Sonic Screw(driver) was reported for Explicit Pornography. The report was reviewed by a member of the Staff and action was taken, deleting the deviation and marking the report as Resolved.PuritanArt2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Additionally, the following comment was provided:
A member of staff has reviewed this deviation and has determined that the theme itself, or one or more details present in the scene, has made the work unacceptable for submission here.
As such this deviation has been removed in accordance with our policies and should not be resubmitted."
"Explicit Pornography"?! Aw, jeez, guys. You must have the worst collection of porn on the planet to think that was explicit.
A 90s Rochelle Swanson outing was more explicit that that pic, and that stuff got aired, uncut, on terrestrial UK TV (god bless you Channel 5, you made the young Jack jolly).
I believe that, for something to be labelled "explicit", SOMETHING must be visibly going in SOMEWHERE. Such was not the case in the offending image,
Become a better artistTo improve and become really good at art. Isn't that what all of us, artists, secretly wish for? That we, one day, become as good as the idols we've looked up to.Become a better artist2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Well, we can't be all born with mad talent. But there are certainly ways to speed up the process for you! In the journal here, I listed some tips and tricks that helped me getting to the point where I am now. I thought I'd share them with you. And maybe you can add to the list. I'm always willing to learn.
Give up on being a mangaka -- or hold more realistic expectations
Admit it. Most of us here started drawing manga because we liked the style at a certain point. How awesome would it be to one day become a pro in that field. A real manga artist (or mangaka, like they say in Japan)! The truth is... becoming a mangaka isn't that easy. It it were, many more people would be one. First of all, mangaka's live in Japan. That's the only country with a manga industry big enough to actually ha
My Thoughts About FavsI just want to take the time to say Thank You to everybody that has faved my work since the beginning of....erm....my time on DeviantART. But i must admit i have cut down on the amount of favs i say thanks too, it's nothing personal but sometimes the message inbox is so full of them. So if i don't say Thanks, know that the fav gesture is appreciatedMy Thoughts About Favs2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Also it seems i have also gone past the 5000 page views barrier, so if anybody has an idea for an image.......
Star Trek 3D model mass releaseDear Star Trek and 3D fans! As I have promised, I finally released my new batch of models on my upload account :iconmetlesitsfleetyards: .Star Trek 3D model mass release4 years ago in Art Features More Like This
From Federation to alien, from TOS to TMP era, this new batch includes classic designs every fan knows by heart.
These models may not live up to those of the great 3D modelers, but I made them with all my heart and knowledge. So, have fun flying them and boldly going where no man has gone before...

A second image for Star Trek: Stellar Cartography, already half done.
An oberth class starship modification for a large workbee hangar, just started this last night.
Timeship 1 & 2 http://kavinveldar.deviantart.com/art/Timeship-One-342391629 http://chroniton8990.deviantart.com/art/Starfleet-D-T-I-Timeship-2-F-D-T-I-N-X-2-459700400?q=gallery%3AChroniton8990&qo=0
The second addition to the workbee utility package, cargo trains and modular packages.
Hopefully some more of Star Trek: Ambassador too.
Due to files for the U.S.S. Walton being spread over several file folders i am now in the process of getting all the used textures back into one folder for easier long term storage. I'm also toying with the idea of renumbering the walton with 3D letters instead of the ones that are on the texture map for the saucer.
Star Trek Online.... Anyone play?If so, add me! Hikaru Tyris@ hikarutyrisStar Trek Online.... Anyone play?3 months ago in Personal More Like This
Yeah, if Hikaru were real she'd be pissed off at me about now for using her in a Scifi game like Star Trek since she hates technology and finds it a disgrace to magic.
I've disgraced my character in an alternate universe!
*runs from Hikaru's wrath*
I've become slightly obsessed as I was lvl6 earlier and didn't stop till I was lvl10 tonight before calling it a night >.> Must get higher. @_@
I REGRET NOTHINGI normally go to a shoot with a plan that lasts maybe 20 or so seconds into it, changing with light conditions and location/equipment needs. Today was a bad day - with my off camera lighting dying, my faithful 5D mk II breaking down, my shoot going from nude to cyberpunk (gasmask fans brace yourselves) but the one constant in it was the adaptation of sketches by Rinzlertron7.I REGRET NOTHING7 months ago in Personal More Like This
This guy makes amazing, lifelike sketches on devart and has been seen by maybe a dozen people. While the works are a little raw - scans straight from a notebook with the ring binder attached - the quality and accuracy of work is breathtaking.
Once I get an internet not routed through a potato at a random model in the Sierra Nevada range at 2 am while drunk, I will upload the rest of the series and also queue up a dozen more great shots I got working with Luna Lain.
