Aubretia (also Aubrieta) is a flowering plant in the cabbage family Brassicaceae. The genus is named after the French flower painter Claude Aubriet. It originates from southern Europe east to Central Asia but is now a common garden plant in Europe.
Myosotis scorpioides, the Water Forget-me-not or True Forget-me-not. it's native to Europe and Asia but can be found elsewhere including much of North America as an introduced species. It blooms from mid-spring to first frost in temperate climates.
The Grecian windflower is a tuberous perennial plant native to southeastern Europe, Turkey, Lebanon and Syria. It grows to 10 cm. It's flowers appear early in Spring when little else is in flower. The flowers are an intense shade of purple blue, but are also available in shades of pink and white.
