"No peeking, Brunette" Eugene, previously known as Flynn Rider, told the princess who had obviously being peeking.
Rapunzel sighed and closed her eyes once again. This was supposed to be fun but Rapunzel hadn't enjoyed herself since they had left the castle. It was such a pity because she had been waiting this for too long and it hadn't even turned out fun.
Everything had started on a fairy normal afternoon. The sun was about to set so there was reddish color covering the town and the afternoon breeze chilling the air.
"Hm, this is delicious" Rapunzel said as she ate the apple pie, then she looked at Eugene's eyes and smiled. They were having a picnic near the lake, they had brought with them apple pie and some drinks the royal cook had prepared and for Max they had brought a pile of apples and for Pascal, well, he had found some grasshoppers.
"Brunette have you decided it?" he asked as he took another bite of his slice.
"Decide what?" Rapunzel asked
Older Peter Pan X Older Reader: Part 13Slightly’s usual cool melodic voice did nothing to soften the jolting blow to everyone’s nerves as he announced Tiger Lily’s sudden abduction. All of The Lost Boys immediately gathered to their feet, their well muscled bodies coiled and poised for an attack at any moment. Peter’s devil may care attitude that he usually sported vanished the instant Slightly bounded into the room looking about as disheveled and rattled as you had ever seen him. Since the day you met him, Slightly had always carried himself with a graceful composed purposefulness. Seeing his emerald green eyes, which almost always seemed to glow with veiled amusement, now wide and searching as if at a total loss of what to do made something inside your stomach give a violent heave. Slightly was supposed to be the one who kept his cool under pressure yet here he was obviously sick with worry and dread. Older Peter Pan X Older Reader: Part 12You watched in silence as Tootles tended to the tiny campfire. His slim frame was bent over the crackling embers as his hands fanned the flames higher. The flames danced and grew under his skilled and practiced movements. The fire below him cast a warm orange glow all over the planes of his smooth pale skin. Your heart instantly began to ache for him. A boy his age should be in high school living with his parents and flirting with girls. He shouldn’t be starting fires, hunting for food, mourning murdered Indian Chiefs, or warring with deranged pirates. A boy his age’s only concerns should be homework or what he’s going to do on a Saturday night not where his next meal is going to come from or when he or his brothers will be attacked next. "What if my name's not really Rapunzel?"
The question had broken through his darken bedroom as she snuggled against his chest. It was their first night at the castle, and the reason why the palace guards had patrolled Eugene's room to make sure he stayed put. They didn't, however, take their newly found princess as the sneaking type.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... I've been called Rapunzel my entire life, but my entire life was a lie," she explained, voice slightly muffled against him. "My name could've been too."
Her voice in the darkness was a reminder of their newfound position, as well as their current circumstances. He turned his head into her hair, smelling the scent of the musty tower he had died inside. It would be a while before she smelled like the soft silk sheets that cocooned them.
"Didn't your parents call you Rapunzel at dinner though?"
She made a noise, and he couldn't tell what it meant. She was quiet again for a bit, fiddling with a button on the nightshirt

Rapunzel and Eugene were enjoying a light breakfast of fruit, bread, hard boiled eggs, and hot tea. They ate in a private room, with only one servant to set and clear the table. It was mostly for Eugene’s sake; he did not like to be in front of the people of the court. They still held him in a scrutinizing gaze because of his pilfering past. Never mind the fact that he had returned the kingdom’s lost princess, and the king and queen had given him a full pardon. He blamed no one for the callous treatment though; he knew he had done petty things as a thief, but he was determined to change people’s opinions about him. He had Rapunzel’s love though, and what more could he want.
The two had actually just returned from their honeymoon the day before. Rapunzel had wanted to see other lands and kingdoms, and Eugene was more than willing to show her the world, but their honeymoon had been turned into a diplomatic trip

Sebastian could only watch as Ariel sobbed. He could not think of anything sufficiently soothing to say, and anything he would have said to dissuade her of her feelings for Jim she was saying already.
'He taught me to be human, he taught me their ways!' She said bitterly. 'And he's not even human himself.' The crab bit back a defensive response. He had become fond of the lad as well, but Ariel could not afford any distractions. He wasn't even sure if she could pull out of this heartbreak.
'He looks human, though.' She reasoned. 'What differences are there, really, between him and a human being?' She lay silent for a moment, sprawled on her back over the bed, her right arm flung over her eyes. The other hand clutched her snarfblat to her chest.
'Still, he shouldn't have... he shouldn't have tried to kiss me if he knew he was leaving!' This brought another fit of sobs, and she was grateful once again for her lack of voice. Jim

"So, what's this dude's name again?" Beast Boy asked. He was perched on the sink in Terra's bathroom, watching her do her makeup.
She rolled her eyes at him. "His name is Jake, Gar. Do you have any short-term memory?"
He grinned at her. "No."
Smiling in spite of herself, Terra turned back to her makeup bag. He watched quietly as she lined her eyes with a blue pencil. "Where are you going?" he asked as she put the lid back on it.
"An Indian restaurant downtown."
"Are you gonna use your hologram?"
"Of course I am, Gar." She sighed, put down the tube of lip gloss she'd picked up, and turned to face him. "Why are you interrogating

It was the tail end of winter and things were warming up a little, but everyone was still wearing long sleeved clothes. Plans were already being made for her first year home anniversary/birthday celebration.
Rapunzel loved her parents. She loved Eugene. She even loved all the people of her kingdom. But sometimes it could be so much. They scheduled plenty of quiet time for her to rest and recover. Reading and painting was fun but occasionally she missed her hair so deeply.
She’d learned to deal with the pain her body experienced from time to time, but it was harder to deal with other people’s pain. Losing her hair and her healing power was a different kind of pain, n

Terra scrubbed her eyes with the heels of her palms and sighed deeply, rolling over in her bed. She reached blindly for her notepad and, still half asleep, scribbled on the page.
Finished, she dropped the pencil. She yawned widely and scratched her neck, wriggling out of bed and dragging her feet all the way to the bathroom.
Something flashed in her eyes and she groaned, scrunching her face up against the memory and the headache that would follow it.

I woke up with a start, out of breath, but with no idea why. I sat up in bed and looked over at the man laying peacefully next to me. Carefully, I lifted the blankets off and scooted out of bed, but froze as Eugene shifted a little in his sleep. With a sigh, I headed down the hall to my drawing room. When I started to turn the knob, I noticed a light coming from under another door, farther down the hall. Letting go of the the knob, I headed towards it.
“I’ve never noticed a door here before.” I whispered to myself, stroking the wood of the door. I carefully turned the knob and slowly pushed the door open, to be blinded by a bright light. I squinted, holding up my hand so I could see better, and took a step into the room.
As my eyesight came back into focus, I noticed what should have been a room, was a forest. There were trees all around, and flowers lined around the ground. There was a path leading deeper into
