"Oh little gentle soul, in the form of the gentle deer, how you capture the wildness of a fragile shape. He never leaves your side, he never turns away. He stays with you, his antlers broad like the branches which stem from lives long gone. He greets you in the dawn. He sways you to sleep in the dusk. Oh little gentle soul, how lucky can you be, for he will be the spring bound wind, always to be here."
They requested their character Leola back in August of 2013.
I normally do not take requests and if I do, it can take me a long while to complete them, just because I can get stuck.... like I did with this. I had the character colored and everything, but I could not for the life of me come up with a background. As much as I searched and searched for inspiration, I eventually abandoned the idea and moved on, hoping something with strike me later. Later has come and an idea hit me quick that I had to finish it within a couple nights.
I do hope I am forgiven for the long...lengthly... time I took to get this request done. I hope the wait was worth it at least and I hope I didn't disappoint. Please do enjoy.
Class assignment. We had to find a lineart and color it. Let's say I didn't find one, so... I made one. Gosh, that was quite tricky. I tried to make it slightly more realistic, so I had to use couple of references found on the net, especally on paws and wings. I love you Photoshop CS5
By the way, that's my character Evaroth. I haven't drawn him for ages.
