And, saving the best for last, Gryffindor! The last "House" ad for - can you take a hint yet folks? Had major fun with the sound effects in this one! The MGM lion roar was too long for the clip. ;___; If my source is to be believed, that is Elsa the lioness roaring.
Again, for the new HP fan community, . I had to look up some serious reference for all the ads I created. I used a puffadder as reference for this, because I love the adder headshape (aaaaand when I looked up "viper", I only got pictures of cars...).
"FILCH! Where are those buckets of..." The command died on Dolores' lips as an odd sort of whistling sound came to her attention. It was soft at first, but it was growing louder and louder; the eerie, mindless tune now accompanied by a percussion of loud crackles and pops.
It sounded just like...
She threw herself to the ground just in time. A huge sparkling beast spouting flames divebombed the location her head had occupied but a few moments ago.
Those red-haired rebels were as good as expelled!
For the undeniably sexy and talented ! She requested Dolores Umbridge, but the first idea I had for her was too horrific and didn't work out... so we'll never mention it again! Instead, I chose to depict Dolores in one of my favourite canon sequences - the Diversion the Twins put together so that Harry could contact Sirius through the Floo in Umbridge's office! In my opinion, one of their greatest pranks EVAR (and what an exit!). To that end, it is now my entry for the Double Trouble Showdown too! I love multi-tasking...
Dolores Umbridge in all her pink glory is the intellectual property of JK Rowling.
Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder, treason and plot!
Or maybe just good ol' fireworks! I am just absolutely in love with my teenaged Dumbly! If you recall Start of an Obsession, you'll notice that I've let his hair grow out a bit. If you're gonna have hair long enough to tuck into your belt one day, you better start young!
Have an awesome Guy Fawkes and be safe!

For the Cameo Showdown! I wanted something silly, fun and, above all, simple to make. There are 27 "predictions"... all made up, of course. This is my first time drawing Sybill - she was hard to pin down without looking entirely cartoony. I am satisfied with her design thus far (my favourite part is her hand ). I based it mostly off of Emma Thompson (who rocks, by the way!).
Please find the link to the tutorial I used in the credits page of the Flash.
"Sybill Trelawney" in all her spangley fabulousness is the intellectual property of JK Rowling (who got older today, if I am not mistaken!). All images are copyright Blue Nadir - please do not redistribute or alter without permission.
The small rocky island was cold and blustery on the best of days. Severus found it hard to believe that anyone in their right mind would come here for their summer holidays; but, as he neared the lone figure on the desolate beach, it shrugged off its dressing gown to reveal a pair of small lilac Muggle speedos.
The man was now windmilling his arms, seemingly oblivious to the chill that made Severus thankful for his warm coat.
Was this the man Albus wanted? Severus pulled out the piece of parchment again. Golden hair... Forget-me-not blue eyes... Dashingly handsome... The Potions master sneered - who on earth described themselves as such in their resumé?
Best get this over with.
Christ... I thought my brain was gonna explode! For the wonderful - my very first Flash animation! She gave me the prompts Severus, Gilderoy & thong speedo. For an added challenge, I made it comply with the Easter Showdown's topic too (the smart ones among you will know the reference ). I hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!
Endless thank yous to JimX who put up with my artistic rages over the past two days.
Severus Snape & Gilderoy Lockhart are the intellectual property of JK Rowling. Pink and lilac thongs, however, are aaaaaaaaall mine, baby!
EDIT: Yes, there is a pink thong in this animation, just use your head! If you find it (as *LyraElson has!), don't give the game away!
I really gotta stop biting off more than I can chew! x__x The scripting for this took JimX and I four days to figure out - him coding from halfway around the world and me pressing buttons like a trained monkey at my end (OOKOOK EEEEEK!!). But I do indeed think the effort was well worth it!
This is for for my 25K kiriban who requested Draco, preferably in a humorous situation. Me, being the supreme opportunist that I am, doubled this up for the Blond Ambition Showdown which backfired rather crudely on me because of the coding problems and the flu striking me down for most of the weekend. Such is life!
All the images are copyright to Blue Nadir - pleasepleaseplease ask before you use any of these. I just want to know where my babies go when they leave the nest (They never write! Never visit! ;__; ).
Draco Malfoy and Madeye are the intelectual property of JK Rowling, but the menagerie is all my doing.
EDIT: Guys, please don't ruin the surprise for other folks. Let everyone work it out for themselves - it really isn't hard to go through 27 possible combinations to find all the non-slime mold ones.
EDIT 2:NOW IN BOLD, ITALIZED CAPITALS BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE INCAPABLE OF READING POLITE REQUESTS. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND SMALL FLUFFY BUNNY RABBITS - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES POST THE ANSWERS. You ruin it for users who try the game after you. Play fair! I have now rescrambled the combinations, and have reported the person in question to the proper authorities.
A long time in coming, but here it is! My entry for the Quidditch Showdown (VERY late as per usual), my 100th Deviation and my DA anniversary upload (yup, started off here exactly a year ago). This was my first time drawing Cho, Harry (*GASP!* I _KNOW_!) and Cedric - I am pleased with their designs.
Much love and admiration goes out to JimX once again for his troubleshooting abilities.

PS I tried VALIANTLY to get sound effects in there for when you lose health points or score, but I just couldn't figure it out. If someone has any tips for me, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
The two redheads were sprawled across the arms of the scarlet chair in the Gryffindor common room, with only embers to witness the scene. They were an unlikely pair, considering their past, but, for tonight, they were united in a common goal - both were waiting for the same person, and she was running very late, even allowing for her voracious academic pursuits.
No doubt, the truce would end once the portrait hole creaked open. Until then, the cat purred and flicked his ear.
Ron and Crooks for both 's request (for being my 200th Watcher) as well as the Bloody Hell Showdown. I love killing two birds with one stone! I imagine that under all that gruff stupidity, Ron cares very deeply about the folks close to him. I think that if Hermione were to walk in on this scene, he'd be all "Gerroff me, you ruddy cat!" and Crooks will be all "Well, I was only using you for the body heat anyway". Males are so silly.
Kisses and cuddles to Jim who made the gradients look AMAZING in the gifs and managed to get the file size down to 32kb with his optimization wizardry!
