Quickie cosplay I threw together in like a week X3 Nice summer cosplay though, ne? I've wanted to dress as her for ever, but I only learned what she was from sometime last year I've always known her name, and seen figures of her, but too much of a dork to google it XD
Anyways, the person in the picture wearing the costume is me, too. THe wings are a pain...>.>
To make it even better, my sewing machine died and I had to do this all by hand...gah.

Beautiful steampunk Scarab sculpture made from clock and watch parts,
Sculpture made with the old and antique clock and watch parts. Taking inspiration from the world around us, we spends our evenings making jewellery, and sculptures breathing new life into these old redundant parts.

Alice in Wonderland is so popular. And to celebrate the upcoming new movie, here is a cake! This cake is so cute and sweet, the pictures don't do it justice! Alice is sitting on top of a chocolate cake, iced with red and pink stripes and dolloped with white cream. Around Alice, there is a sugar Ace of hearts card, a clock with a flame on top, small strawberry on top of whipped cream, sugar roses, and a bread butterfly! It's very unique and magical!

Photographed by Baron Karza
I handsewed the majority of this costume in the span of 3 days during the con itself. I finally was able to wear it on the last day of the convention and was happy that Baron Karza was free for a shoot! So here's photographic proof that this costume exists.
I didn't get many photos of Yuuko done because the downside to doing all nighters sewing is a very VERY tired vickybunnyangel. As a result, I lacked the ability to perform like I normally would and almost didn't want to upload any photos. But I promised I'd show you guys what Yuuko looked like, and I can't be thankful enough for the time Baron Karza set aside for us.
I'm overall happy with the way this turned out. Those platforms were killer to walk in while balancing antlers and the huge Yuuko wig on my head.
Fault was created with a vintage watch face that has been cut into a unique broken looking cross section, antique brass gears, and other parts. All parts are recycled from old and unloved watches, cleaned, and soldered into place using lead-free silver bearing solder, rather than glues or resins found in many craft items. Each piece at A Mechanical Mind is hand designed and assembled by an artist, and each piece is one of a kind, and never to be reproduced exactly.
Fault is 21mm wide by 34mm tall and comes on an 18" antiqued silver cable chain with links measuring 1.7mm. A lobster clasp secures the necklace.
