DISNEY Jack-x-Pitch PromptJack Frost floated absently around the little town of Burgess, glancing in people’s windows to see who was still up and who wasn’t. Jamie was asleep- being a ten year old boy means you have bedtimes. So far only adults and teenagers who couldn’t see him seemed to be awake. None of them wanted to come out and enjoy the fresh snow he was making. They all complained that it was too cold.DISNEY Jack-x-Pitch Prompt2 years ago in Romance More Like This
He could deal with that. Spying was fun too, in its own way. He got to see people doing stupid things they’d never let anyone else see them do. One woman was singing horribly to a song about trouble. It was pretty funny…
Wandering a little more, Jack spotted someone else spying. And at first he was going to zap them frozen because he thought they were trying to kidnap someone. But then he realized, hey, I recognize that head of spiky black hair. Floating over, Jack announced himself with a flurry of snowflakes and a cheery, “Hiya Pitch!”
He was mostly lucky Pitch

“Soo what are we going to do for Halloween?” Jack asked, floating above Pitch’s throne while said Nightmare King tried to read.
“We? Why would we do anything?” He asked, turning the page. “I detest the holiday.”
Jack fell into his lap. “What? Why? I thought you’d be in your element.”
“You thought? Hmm, perhaps the world is coming to an end.” Pitch stood up abruptly, causing Jack to fall onto the floor.
“Why do you hate it?” Damn the boy was persistent.
Pitch sighed dramatically and looked over at Jack; hoping he could simply ignore the question, but the way the boy was shaking his head that wasn’t going to work.
“I hate it because it ruins everything I stand for.” The way Jack was looking at him made the older spirit sigh again. “It makes children unafraid of the things I have created. The Nightmares I have perfected.”

Pitch Black couldn't help but soflty smile at the sleeping guardian. It had been a long day for Jack, and he had come straight to Pitch, for he knew that he would be able to rest peacefully with the taller male. As soon as night had fallen, they had met in front of the hole that led to Pitch's lair and sat against one of the nearby tree trunks. Jack had soon started to yawn and promptly rested his head on the other male's lap.
The nightamare king had soflty smiled in response and stroked Jack's hair with long gentle fingers. It always surprised him how soft it was to the touch. The younger male's breathing began to slow as he fell asleep, earning another smile from Pitch. He wondered when their relationship had reached this point. It seemed like it was only yesterday when Jack had wondered into his lair to check on him after being dragged away by the Nightmares. Since th

"Hey, Pitch..." Jacks voice gently broke the silence as he stepped into the room. "How are you doing?" Pitch shot out a withering glare that, had it been anyone else, would have anyone cringing. "Look... I'm sorry ok?" Pitch just turned away. Jack sat on the bed, gently running his fingers through Pitch's hair.
"This is all your fault Jack." Pitch said his voice coming out scratchy and hoarse.
"Well when you want to snuggle with the spirit of winter you have to accept the fact that you might catch a cold." Jack said sternly.
"I still feel like blaming you." Pitch pouted.
"Well if that's how you feel I guess I'll just leave." Jack said playfully. Pouting some more Pitch grumbled an apology. "That's better, now come here." Jack placed his hand onto Pitch's forehead. "Yeah you definitely have a fever."

''Jack, you're doing it again.''
The white haired boy's eyes widened in surpise. ''What?''
''You're staring at me again, it makes me uncomfortable.'' Pitch responded.
''Oh, sorry.'' Jack apologized.
It had been some time since Pitch's defeat and Jack had developed the habit of visiting him every chance he got. He didn't know why, but he did. The other guardians were a little concerned at first, but with Pitch in his weakened state he wasn't considered a threat to the children of the world anymore. Thus, they let Jack do as he pleased.
During these visits, Jack and Pitch had grown close to one another. Pitch had, at first, rejected the other's company, but he soon found himself missing Jack when he was away. Thus, a friendship bloomed and the odd pair became inseparable.
Lately, Jack had been staring at Pitch, specifica

Being believed in was euphoric for Jack; it was intense.
Then more children that believed, the more he was excited.
It didn’t dawn on him at first, but one day they’d move on. Not believe in him anymore.
He shrugged those thoughts off because most of the kids didn’t matter to him; Jamie would never forget him.
Or so he thought.
It took longer than most children.
But, it did happen one day.
Jack was flying low, spreading his snow and frost quickly throughout the town. He was smirking, planning how he and Jamie would spend the first snowfall. It had quickly become a tradition to have a friendly snowball fight and this year would be no different even though he was turning 17 soon.
He hurried over to Jamie’s window; gently pushing it open and flying inside. He waited excitedly in the shadows, trying not to snicker.
Jamie walked into the room and Jack jumped in front of him.
“Boo!” he shouted, smirking widely; his smirk fell

Some people say that, if you venture far enough into the forest, you may come across an old wooden bed frame. Under the frame, there's a hole. It's said that down that hole, lives a centuries old creature that fed on fear. At least, that's what people used to say before. Now, they dismiss the bed frame simply as a piece of abandoned furniture that covered the hole so no one would fall in. No one believed in those silly old stories about the Boogeyman anymore. They had forgotten all about him.
There, next to the hole, stood Jack Frost, the winter spirit and guardian of fun. He frowned as he leaned over to the edge, remembering the first time he had gone down there. It hadn't been a pleasant expierence, and neither had the consequences. But, for some reason, he didn't regret it.
His thoughts returned to the day they had defeated Pitch

It was the first day of winter, Jack flew carefree on the wind, sending snow gently floating down on the streets of Burgess. As soon as a small fresh blanket of snow covered the city he flew happily to the house of his best and oldest friend. He slipped in quickly through the window, calling out his friends name.
"Jaime! How's it goin!?" He shouted. Jaime didn't turn. Jack kind of expected this. After all with Jaime pushing at 85 it wasn't surprising his hearing slipped away. He still could hardly believe Jaime still saw him, but that thought always kept a smile on his face. He sat next to his friend calling out again. Once again with no response. Jack rolled his

It’s common knowledge that the Boogeyman hates the light. It represents all that can defeat him; however there is one light that seems not to bother him.
The Moon, though, the Man who lived in it irritates him to no end.
He loved the night, especially with a full moon. The shadows were longer, darker and more intimidating. Even though the light is brighter than most nights, if anything it merely adds to the contrast between the light and the dark.
He would often hide in the shadows, scaring anyone he could; man, woman, child, it didn’t matter.
Until those awful Guardians had banished him.
Then, he had to wait. He had to be sure the Moon could not see him; so he would bide his time, making sure that the Moon was out of sight before going above ground.
…Until the Guardians banished him a second time. Then he couldn’t leave at all. It was killing him to not be able to breathe the air above ground.
Slowly he was beginning to

Pitch assumed that he had finally broken Jack.
He didn’t know how wrong he was.
It was strange; people were beginning to believe in the Guardians more strongly once again.
Pitch was losing control.
It soon became evident as to why.
“Jack,” He snarled, throwing the sprite against the nearest wall. “What do you think you’re doing?”
Jack paused to catch his breath before he raised an eyebrow. “I’m afraid I cannot read minds, you need to elaborate.” A light smirk played on his lips; enraging the Nightmare King even more.
Pitch moved quickly through the shadows, dragging Jack with him, to the iron globe.
“Look. What do you see?” He asked, composing himself a little.
Pitch growled dangerously.
“All right, all right, chill.” Jack looked at the globe, blinking slowly and frowning a little. “I see a ton of lights.” He floated above the globe circling

It had been a few days since Jack last saw Pitch or any of the Guardians. When he woke, he found himself smiling; today was Halloween. The boy jumped into the air and flew towards Jamie's school. He arrived just as the school bell rang to let the kids out for recess, and he quickly sat down on a low tree branch in a planter box.
The children began pouring out of their classrooms; everyone was dressed in bright and strange costumes. When he saw Jamie, Jack scooped up some snow from the ground and threw it at him. Instantly seeing Jack in the corner of the playground, the child ran towards him. The frost elf got down from the tree and hugged the excited boy.
"Jack, I'm so happy to see you!" Jamie exclaimed. His friends soon caught up with him, and everyone showed Jack their costumes. Jamie was an explorer of the Amazon, Pippa was a black cat, Cupcake was a princess, Claude and Caleb were zombies, and Monty was a robot.
"Where's you costume?" Monty asked
