Before I tell this anecdote,
There are some things that you should note-
How tales are spun, and lies are told
As soon as fairy tales get old.
If you were to ask any kid
About what Rumpelstiltskin did,
They'll say, "He tried to trick the Queen!
There's no one in this world so mean."
The nasty, lying Brothers Grimm,
Positively hated him.
Rumpy was an immigrant
Whose life was largely innocent,
(Although he did, I must report,
Enter on a fake passport).
He was a simple country dweller,
Trapped inside the royal cellar-
He couldn't read the exit sign
So got drunk on the king's best wine.
Please realise that life's not kind
To people with a large behind,
Not only that but on his head,
His thinning hair was coloured red;
I hope you do appreciate
That being ginger's not that great.
Let's hear his true, unhappy tale
(The Brother's Grimm should be in jail).
Whilst on his way to Palace Hall
The Miller started a pub crawl.
He liked his gin, but just one drink
Pokemon NaturesMuch as with humans, Pokemon tend to have wildly different personalities and can often times exhibit completely different behaviors in comparison to other members of the same species. Unlike with humans, however, the Nature of a Pokemon can determine not only its overall likes and dislikes but even the overall development of its stats and its capacity to use moves in battle when a trainer is not allowed to dictate their movements. As such, it is important for trainers to understand how each Nature will affect their Pokemon over the course of its lifetime.Pokemon Natures2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Natures are generally random amongst a given species and are not determined by any outside factors in most cases, but if a Pokemon is allowed to breed with another to produce an Egg, as long as one of the parents is holding an Everstone, the infant will have a 50% chance of possessing the same Nature as the parent holding the item. In addition, a Pokemon with the Synchronize Ability has a 50% chance of encountering a

This semester I got classes that would actually be challenging. After taking another glance at my scheduale I noticed a class that stuck out, P.E. I wasn't very athletic but I needed another P.E credit to graduate, so I simply accepted this minor complication.
Few classes later and I was walking down the steps to my P.E class. Each step I took felt like it was going to be my last. I opened the steel door that led into the gym after taking the last step off the stairs. A young looking women walked up to me and introduced herself as Ms. Star.
She was going to be our substitute teacher till the regular teacher was back. Ms. Star refused to tell us where the regular teacher was but she creeped me out as if she was staring into my soul or

He hadn't slept in this late in quite a long time. He went to sit up but stopped as he heard a little grumble. Germany turned his gaze upon a man with reddish brown hair lying next to him, his head on his chest. Italy. For a moment, Germany had almost forgotten about the night before, when he and Italy had the night of their lives together. A warm smile spread on the blonde's face as he gently wrapped and arm around his lover. There was another grumble, then a small laugh. "Ve~ I was wondering when you were going to wake up."
"You were already awake? Why... Why didn't you wake me up?" Germany asked, surprised that the Italian had awoken before him.

Grass Pokemon Care GuidelinesBasicsGrass Pokemon Care Guidelines3 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Grass Pokemon are much like plants, in that they require the basics of air, water, nutrients and exposure to sunlight. Being Pokemon, grass types have a lot in common with animals in that they are able to get their own food and can take care of most of these requirements on their own. However, like any other Pokemon, one must take care of them. They require attention and love, as well as a trip to a Pokemon Center for a checkup every once in a while.
Pruning and Weeding
Most Grass Pokemon will require a certain amount of pruning to keep them comfortable. This depends on the amount of foliage present on the grass type. The exceptions to this rule would be Tangela and Tangrowth, who are actually made of vines, and should only have dead vines removed from their tangled 'tresses'. Any attempts to remove living vines will cause discomfort to the Pokemon.
When removing detritus from a Grass Pokemon, one needs to take care not to hurt the Pokemon by trimming them down too

I always had loved playing Pokémon, even at my age... I started with that cute little Pikachu game. Pokémon Yellow. Sadly, I never had Blue or Red. I had only seen it when I was trading around with my friend. From there on, I started collecting the games. Going from Pokémon Snap to the Trading Cards game, to the figures, the trading cards, Silver, Crystal, Sapphire, Emerald, Firered, twice even, Heartgold, Soulsilver and even Platinum, Explorers of Darkness, Diamond, Pearl, Trozei and Black and White on my little r4 card. However with all those games coming and the better graphics.. My Pokémon yellow lay forgotten in my drawer...
Until the day I decided to clean out my room. I had stumbled upon the yellow cartridge and couldn't help but smile in nostalgia. Without a second thought, I grasped my golden SP and pushed in the cartridge, sitting back against my mattress and watching the intro scene. I was met by the cheery Pikachu and couldn't help but snicker. I remembe

When the Sun meets the Moon...
Told in Josh's POV:
So there I was, flying on the Pidgeot I received. It wasn't far anymore, maybe an hour left from the five hours we've already flown. It did surprise me. I guess this Pidgeot was trained to fly such long distances, since it didn't want to stop on our trip from Unova to Johto, and it was dark already. Solé and Luno sat on the Pidgeot as well, both sleeping. I didn't want to officially 'catch' them yet. Not yet... They still had their freedom. I looked down. The lights of some of Kanto's cities appeared through the clouds. Some were brighter, some were hardly visible. Time passed, and we were close...
"You'd better look in front of you instead of down. Before you know you'll fall off..." I turned back to the Pidgeot.
"Sorry." I apologized.
"It's ok. It's gorgeous, and I can't blame you." I smiled. I looked up instead of down now. A bright moon shined through the clouds. I looked to Luno, his yellow rings glow

Analysis of the Flying-typeINTRODUCTIONAnalysis of the Flying-type2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
The Flying-type is among the more common types known and is generally among the first few types that beginning trainers come across either in the wild or through battle. While it may have some obvious downsides and a fairly limited array of advantages in many cases, the Flying-type is nonetheless a fairly universal type and is the only type to have dual combinations with all 18 recognized types, in turn making it a vital type to understand in any battle. The Flying-type might not have much in the way of perks in terms of offense or defense alone, but its overall mobility and capacity to easily leave land-dwelling creatures in the dust is more than enough to make it a type worth specializing in both the short and long-run as long as its primary weaknesses can be dealt with.
POWERS AND ATTRIBUTES
The Flying-type is generally thought of as a perfect type for young trainers that are trying to get an edge in battle as it offers numerous benefits that go be

Falling back into the covers, Prussia laughed quietly and stretched himself, still panting as he tried to calm his racing heart. He heard another, quieter laugh before Fritz's arm curled around him and pulled him closer, pressing his back against his King's chest. It was almost unbearably hot after all of the sessions they had but he wasn't going to tell Fritz to let go, especially not when his hand was going to wander over his chest like that and his teeth nibbled gently on his neck. "Stop that," he giggled and squirmed under the touch. "That freaking tickles, stoooop."
Frederick only laughed and nipped him on the ear, drawing a squeak out of him before he moved down to kiss his shoulder. The monarch drew back his hand to trace across Gilbert's back, his eyes roaming across the scars that covered it. His fair skin glistened in the candlelight, highlighting all of the marks that would usually be hidden; some of the older and shallower wounds were nothing more than pale sil
Analysis of the Psychic-typeINTRODUCTIONAnalysis of the Psychic-type2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
The Psychic-type is perhaps among the most misunderstood of types but nonetheless serves as one of the more powerful elements and is well-respected among all types of trainers for its sheer ingenuity and seemingly limitless might in battle. The Psychic-type does not have enough in the way of type advantages for most trainers to give it a shot, but because of how the type works in battle and its potential for unbridled destruction in almost any type of environment, few ever dare to question its advantages in battle. It is almost ironic in a sense that while humans often dismiss the powers of Psychics and similar people, they wholly verify the existence of such power in Pokemon and are more than willing to believe in its features outside of the human brain. Whether this is merely bias or something else is uncertain, but if there is one thing that can be said about the Psychic-type, it's that few other types can possibly reach the level of dev

Analysis of the Electric-typeINTRODUCTIONAnalysis of the Electric-type2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
The Electric-type is a powerful type that many trainers will have a difficult time using effectively at first but will soon come to respect and adore in battle. While all life-forms are subject to the effects of electricity even at a minuscule level, Electric-type Pokemon take things one step further and make even the most bland and uninteresting of battles seem exciting with their devastating discharges of raw power. Though it might only have limited offensive advantages in most cases, the Electric-type is notoriously difficult to battle against simply because it is only weak to Ground-type attacks, a trait that still holds strong in battle despite many Pokemon being able to lean moves like Earthquake through artificial means. Trainers looking to specialize in the Electric-type will likely have to get used to not having a dual-type to support them in most cases, but regardless, this is one type that can easily hold its own in battle and le
Analysis of the Water-typeINTRODUCTIONAnalysis of the Water-type2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
The Water-type is a universal type across the planet and effectively defines both the existence of a significant number of Pokemon and where life in general first began. Though it might not have as many powerful fighters as other types, the Water-type is about as well-rounded in terms of offenses and defenses as one can get and is equally great in offensive and defensive battles as well as tactical matches and offers a great variety of creatures for trainers to work with at a young age. As such, it comes as no surprise that it is often chosen along with the Grass and Fire-types as one of the key types that beginning trainers can choose from and serves to act as the defensive type in the trio, balancing out the offenses of the Fire-type and the tactical abilities of the Grass-type nicely. Most of the creatures assigned to the type may not be the best at battling in many cases, but for those willing to give it a try, there are few opponents t
Analysis of the Ghost-typeINTRODUCTIONAnalysis of the Ghost-type2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
The Ghost-type is perhaps the most poorly-understood type in existence and effectively straddles the line between what is definable by science and what isn't. The Ghost-type is the least common type out of all recognized types (tied with the Fairy-type) and has a limited capacity to deal damage effectively in battle, but this flaw is more than supplemented by the type's specialty in causing panic and Confusion among all that dare to challenge it head-on without some serious backup plans. For those who believe in sprits, the Ghost-type is merely just another addition to the miracle that is existence, but for others, it is a dangerous type that is often times ignored simply for its unusual features and powers. For those willing to put aside such thoughts and look carefully at the type, though, a world of pain and misery opens up that very few opponents, regardless of how skilled they are, will be able to handle completely.
