When it's you keeping me up.
I need sleep,
But I can't help but wonder
If you're dreaming of me.
Wishing my arms were around you
And not the pillow I lay upon.
Listening to country love songs,
Crying out because I need you
To hold me tonight.
Thinking how much I miss you,
Your touch haunts me.
And now I can no longer sleep.
The tears fall so easily
When I think of us together.
I miss you so much.
Every morning is so lonely
When you're not there.
You'd be there every morning if you could.
I imagine our future,
Being together every night,
Just having someone to wake up with.
A little insomnia can be welcome
When it's you keeping me up.

People call me insane.
How do they know?
Can anyone truly say what is insane?
And what isn't?
Who can judge? Everyone.
Who has the right? No one.
They are not mind-readers.
They have no way of knowing
What is inside my head.
Even if I write it down,
It is changing all the time.
Points of view, opinions.
The next second they become old
And new ones take their place.
Constantly changing, evolving,
Inside my head.
Always questioning, thinking,
Reasoning, and imagining.
Insane? I don't think so.
Truth is a matter of opinion
Everyone is insane
At the exact time
That no one is.
Why must people call me insane?
Why must they fear me?
Is it me they fear
Or what will come out of their mouths
If I prod long enough?
Are they afraid of opinions
And actual thoughts,
Or is it just
Tiny, insignificant me?
Why must people fear
What they do not understand?
Worse of all,
They don't try to understand.
They just stick a label on me, POP!
I am crazy.

They notice anyway,
Can't you tell?
It's just you

It's you and I,

Over a conversation.
Isn't it better
Than worrying about
You wish to be sane?
You're even more alone
If you are.

sticks and stones may break my bones
But your words will always hurt me
No matter how I try to escape them
I just can't seem to break free
I laugh, pretending your words don't mean a thing
Then lock myself in my room
In hopes of numbing this sting
You're the only one who can help me now
The one who scars the most
Still I turn to you, dear razor
I smile and press you close
Once the blood's released
I feel much better
All my scars are hidden
Underneath my sweater
Things will be different one day
Or so I keep telling myself
But until that day comes
I have you, my friend atop that shelf

The dark hell I've always been in,
Tears flow down my cheeks,
Puddles overlay the cold wood floor,
As voices whisper in my head,
I've grown insane since you left,
I do everything wrong,
I can't think,
Can't even move,
Without messing up,
Where is my invisible guardian?
The one that's always been there,
Breaking my fall,
As I go down hard,
From the mistakes I made,
When he wasn't there,
God gave me an angel,
But where is he,
My pants are shredded,
Everywhere the blue bits went,
I can't keep in the rage anymore,
My once silky hair,
Which once glowed light brown,
Is slowly falling out as I pull at the strands,
Screaming over the pain that is caused,
Screaming over how everything changed,
Where is the guardian I desire?
This room I'm in can't withstand me any longer,
I keep trying to break free,
Until someone checks on me,
On the state that I have been in,
Since my guardian has disappeared,
When she comes in,

As down they did lay?
Such glorious morning,

Collecting the men's blood
And draining trees' sap,

Why do you mourn?
Why are you weary
And why are you worn?
Come here, I'll give you
A pat on the back,
I'll try to make up for
The smiles that you lack,
Grim Reaper, tell me:
How do you cope
With guns at the ready,
The knife and the rope?
As men drain their cups
Poisined up to the brim,
I will make your day
Just a little less grim.
A Lesson On Brick CareA Lesson On Brick Care9 years ago in Humor More Like This
Bricks are excellent pets. As well as being cheap, clean and easy to care for, they are extremely long-lived. They are extraordinarily loyal and have few requirements for housing and feed. They are very hardy, do not trigger allergies and extremely easy to tame. They rarely scratch, but can be a nuisance if left underfoot. However, with proper treatment, you and your brick should have a long and loving relationship. The most common brick is the Common House Brick (brickus brickus), which is normally a red colour. They also appear as other colours, ranging from a creamy-white, to black. Brown is another popular colouration, as there are many shades of brown bricks. The more unusual a brick is in colour, the more expensive.
Bricks have been associated with humans for many years, but are most often used as working bricks. They have only recently been adapted as pets. Closely related to the brick is the rock (rockus granus), which has become quite popular as a pet in recent decades. Hopefu

Inuyasha's GainFor a while now something had seemed off with Inuyasha. Usually he whined when the group wanted to take a break or two throughout the day and then make camp at night. But lately he had been the one asking for breaks, and it was becoming more and more frequent. He was having trouble fighting off weaker demons, and just seemed to be getting very tired very often. Whenever he got wounded, he wouldn't take off his haori so that Kagome could fix him up like usual. He just shrugged off the wound and went off into the woods, and didn't return until a few hours later.Inuyasha's Gain4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

His pale skin terribly clammy in the light, the sheen off his skin glistening in the illumination of the myriad of candles. Each one he had painstakingly lit, till the room was bright and the temperature had risen substantially. The shadows that quivered and jumped along the walls made him wince, taunting him. Even his own shadow took part in this hellish provocation. The chalk writing that roamed over the floor boards in curious flowing patterns wove around his bare feet, where the same symbols and patterns were mirrored on his flesh. Chemotherapy Dear boys who laughed at my bald grandmother at Wal-Mart,Chemotherapy4 years ago in Letters More Like This
I don't think it's funny. My grandmother was bald because she was taking chemotherapy treatments. Yes, she is an old woman. Yes, she is fragile and sensitive, even more so because the chemo makes her feel weak and sick. However, she is still stronger than you two are. No, she couldn't beat you at arm wrestling or throw you to the ground or even protect herself if anyone tried to hurt her. She is strong, because she beat cancer TWICE. So go ahead, laugh at her and make fun of her because she doesn't have any hair, but I think my grandmother is beautiful, just the way she is. She must have felt horrible, being bald and feeling like crap. But she woke up, every morning, no matter how much she must have wanted to have just closed her eyes forever, because she knew that we would be totally lost without her. I love you, Mammaw!

A mostly complete guide to making OCs that will fit into the KHR canon
Welcome and let me congratulate you on the brilliant decision to read this guide. Perhaps you recently got into Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and want to make a fan character (or OC) for the series. Perhaps you've already made one (or twenty), but feel you could do better. Perhaps you have found your OC(s) discussed on various Tumblr blogs and want to revise your character(s) so that doesn't happen again. Perhaps you are simply curious about the show and have an actual social life, so that dedicating so much of your time to researching Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is both silly and unfeasible. Whatever the reason, this guide should tell you most everything you need to know.
This is NOT a Mary Sue test! As always with guides to "creative" works, this guide must be taken with a grain of salt. In the end, what matters the most is that you create a character that you enjoy working with. However,
Don't Say It -Part 1-"Hey! --------!"Don't Say It -Part 1-3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
A clear high voice rang out from the grassy hill. Germany, who had been kneeling and staring at some wild flowers looked up and turned to see where the voice had come from.
Rang the voice again.
He scanned the grassy field behind him and soon saw a small girl dressed in a light green dress with a bright clean apron running towards him. She stopped in front of him, her reddish-brown hair slightly messy from running and a small curl sticking out from the left side of her head. She smiled at Germany.
"I'm so glad I found you, --------," she said happily.
It was strange. He knew the girl was saying his name, but for some reason it was muted out.
"What are you doing here?" the girl asked.
Suddenly, for some reason, he felt some heat rise up in his cheeks and his heart start beating a little faster. Germany was confused at these changes and wondered if perhaps it was because of the small child in front of him. But why would a person cause these changes?
