Something a bit different that has stayed in my archive for a while waiting for my inspiration to come back again, work is draining it all (along with my free time!) Fullview please! This one has quite some nice details at full res... in my gallery at chaotica website [link] hohoho!
Seems that I'm getting addicted to stick hyperbolic tilings everywhere I've found this framework really interesting, had it sleeping with the rest of my parameters, and I finally found out how to do something with it, I've had a lot of fun . Got really inspired by ~Mobilelectro art.
Hope you like it. I'm not sure if it could look too dark in other monitors , I've adjusted the lighting near the limit... Let me know what you think.
Made with Apophysis, rendered with Chaotica. Frame and final levels adjustments with Gimp.
My version of a wonderful flame by ~zy0rg these parameters are 90% his as my input was quite limited (lights, details, colours, minor shape tweaks) but I really enjoyed working on this flame! the first collaboration version was dated last june, but I didn't publish my version because it needed some work, I think now it looks quite good
please fullview and have a good tour in ~zy0rg's gallery, he also got a most deserved DD today !
What did I do? Took neonrauschen's params (the same I used for Frail and Sacher, available here ), remembered some tips from this tutorial by f--l--A--r--k (because I suck at Xaos ) and put some flowerish shape inside the bubbles. Melograno d'Inverno literally means Winter Pomegranate.
Thanks to *zy0rg for all the patience he had to explain how to work with foci in the shack. This is probably the fractal I've felt more insecure about it's colors... I've initially wanted to give it a more serious palette... but the child inside me wanted to change them all the time, and finally defeated me . That's one of the reasons to give it this title
For June 2013: Rep-tiles (as explained here [link] ) - I always did want to make something good that used that tutorial to make a texture, but they always turned out dark and grainy, so I kind of gave up until this spurred me to get it right And then I spent all day yesterday coloring it, lol
