I will never be able to
crawl out from underneath;
I’m caving in, lungs
no longer able
to exhale lovely things.
However hollow, I’ve got
these artist hands,
these god hands of mine
that can save lives.
What’s the point
when I’ve got little
& no one can ever seem
to find my pulse?

Just a cut.
Just a scratch.
"What's that mark.?"
"It was the cat."
Just an excuse.
Just another lie.
"What's with all the bracelets.?"
"Just fashion, why.?"
Just a tear.
Just a scream.
"Why were you crying.?"
"Just a bad dream."
-But it's not just a cut, or a tear, or a lie. It's always 'just one more' until you die

How are you today?
Me and Mommy misses you -
We wish that you didn't go away.
Today was the day -
The day you went away.
It's been a long time Daddy,
When are you coming home?
Mommy is making dinner -
It's your favorite, Daddy.
Too bad you're not here to eat it.
I'll eat it for you, Daddy -
Even the green stuff.
When are you coming home?
Mommy was crying today,
As she was watching the TV.
There were two big buildings on fire,
There was lots of smoke.
She was crying, Daddy -
When are you coming home?
I hope -
I think I'm going to cry, too.
I asked Mommy when you're coming back,
So that we don't have to cry anymore,
It's been a long time, Daddy,
Since we've seen you at home.
I asked Mommy,
But she only cried.
She cried hard.
She cried for a long time.
When are you coming home, Daddy?
We miss you very,
I'm talking to your picture right now -
You don't look as old as my teacher, Daddy.

Post Mass Effect Technology Era and the Formation of Galactic Alliance
Stretching a time from late 2186 to 2250, the Great Migration was commonly recognized as the period of time when the starfleets came to aid Earth against the Reapers return to their homeworld by FTL or other conventional means of commuting. By Quarian help, some larger battle fleets were renovated into starships to cope with a sustainable residency. While most have left the Sol System, some choose to resettle themselves on Earth or closer clusters like Tuchanka to help the locals rebuild their homeworld. This caused a shift in galactic powers for a moment, until the Galactic Alliance was established.
The Galactic Alliance, established in year 2193, is an inter-stellar organization between the former Citadel Council, the Systems Alliance, and the Perseus Consortium. The three major players in the field combined their resources to host aiding programs and agencies

A/N: First of all, I don't want to hear any complaints about the "four moves" rule of Pokemon. The whole point of this piece is to explore the concept outside of its normal parameters in a more organic way. How many Pokemon attacks can you catch on to? ;D
This piece is a tribute to Pokemon, a big part of my formative years, as well an homage to the many (likely now pathetic) chapters I once wrote of Pokemon fiction as a child, and an expression of the idea of regret and loss in this land of Adulthood - reflection on who we become as we age, and how we cope with it.

I survey my opponent on this quiet morning. He reeks of some old acquaintance whom I've met before, I'm sure. Hunched on all fours, he appears to be just as determined and prepared as I am. We exchang

“Dammit!” Scott heard his friend Will shout from the other room. “Not again!” Scott was lounging on the couch and reading a magazine when Will stormed into the room. “That thief has stolen some more things!” Scott set down the magazine.
“You sure it’s not just raccoons or something?” Scott asked. “Sure of it!” Will replied, “Raccoons would of taken food or something; this guy just took some bottles of alcohol and other things that I don’t think any raccoon would want!”
Scott and Will were on a hunting trip in the forest, they were staying in a log cabin up near some mountains. Recently items have gone missing; bottles of wine or beer, books, sometimes even the pelt of the animal that they had killed. Scott wondered where this thief had come from, there wasn’t another log cabin for miles around and they hadn’t found or heard of anyone else camping nearby. Will was determined to get revenge.

Mark left the bar he was at. He had come to this bar to have a little bit to drink before he faced Beatrice but he didn’t feel like drinking at all and hardly touched what he had bought. Mark told himself that he would go and apologize like a man and set off towards her house.
Mark reached out his fist and knocked on the door loudly. He waited. No one answered. He pressed the doorbell several times, and could hear it ring through the house. Still no one answered. Getting worried, he knocked on the door and shouted her name, still no one answered. He tried the door knob, and it opened. That was odd; she usually kept the door locked.
The first thing he noticed when he entered was the open window, the wood bordering the sides of it seemed to have a lot of claw marks on it, like a cat had been there. He walked into the dining room, calling out her name. He paused when he saw the bottle of champagne on the table. It was

Youngster Joey and his Rattata were one day backflipping through the desert. The desert used to be a forest until yesterday when Joey and Rattata showed up and Rattata decided he needed a snack.
"Boy Rattata you sure were hungry!" Joey said. "Now you will be full and strong to fight all the Pokemon and beat the Elite Four!"
Rattata roared like a lion whose throat was made of air horns and flexed all the muscles in his body. He flexed his massive pecs and his abs and his biceps and there were a lot of muscles because Rattata was over eight feet tall. When he flexed his muscles, all the female Pokeman in the world fainted and Rattata got five billion experience points, but it wasn't much because he was already at Level 8999.
"Stop right there Joey and Rattatta!"
Jeoy backflipped his head around and looked at who said the words telling him to stop! It was the Elite Four and they all very mad lo

When you treat me like a child.
Don't call me crazy,
When you drive me wild.
Don't ask me for help,
When you've left me to drown.
Don't ask me to smile,
When you've made me frown.
Don't make me fight,
When you can't defend.
Don't make me be honest,
When you can't pretend.
Don't tell me to dream,
When you're my nightmare.
Don't damn me to hell,
When you're my only prayer.
Do save yourself;
It's too late for me.
Do ignore the rules;
For me, set yourself free.

Black feathers falling through the empty sky
A whisper upon the winds, better left unspoken
As a glimmer of sunlight catches my eye
I am drawn to the worms that writhe below
Each one pulses with the desire to live
endlessly tunneling through the sands of the earth
With nothing more for them to give
I'm afraid they are quickly eaten...
One, two, three and four
Each one swallowed by an open door
Five, six, seven, eight
They know not love nor petty hate
It makes me wonder if they feel this pain
of being consumed by the one they fear
They sprout and dance in the lovely rain
Not knowing of that which lurks so near

hopefully, I pray to myself
because in the end it'll be the end
and I'm more scared of it than
I am of most things
and I'm scared of most things.
No idea, not even a clue,
I really wish it seems so
because if it's all too clear
then it's all too clear that I
won't be able to handle it
and I'll drift away, miles away
to protect myself
to protect something I cherish
more than such an
untrustworthy heart as mine.
But the more it breeds lies down
my tightening throat, the more
I want to slip a secret out
maybe into a someone's ear
tell them that they make my
heart pause when they say things
things I'm waiting to be able to do
tell them that I may or may not
be tipping over for them.
Do what you feel is right (Landebert: part one)Such a small and beautiful house. As white as the purest snow with dark night black trim. Beyond all the beauty of this house was a dark secret, by day it was a beautiful and normal looking home, by night, it was pitch black, the night seemingly seeping into the white panels of the home. Who lived here? Who was the person who owned this home? Nobody exactly knew who lived here, but there was always a car in the driveway, every so often it would be missing. But now, now it was time to explore the house.Do what you feel is right (Landebert: part one)7 months ago in Profiles More Like This

It was about 7:30 at night, the sun was down by now but the sky wasn't dark, more of a dark blue shade. As he walked along he saw lights of houses turning off, people going

with your heart spread over mine,
tell me all the secrets that make you shatter
and I'll sing a broken latin lullaby I once heard
from no one in particular.
All I need is for you to breath me in,
wrap me around your fingers--twirl me like a pen--
and not all the hands in the world would drop dead;
only mine would, but it'd be restful.
Lie besides me in the decaying grass that's
opal in color, kissed by the lack of sun
to forever hold what we have
in this moment encompassed by gold and love
golden love, molding love,
hark to the fading love.
You're non will make my sense like all
my undoings make you what you are
when we compare our scars,
who is most hurt? Do our scars even know?
Because there are worlds inside us,
bursting before our eyes,
whenever we care to look there
whenever we care to look at each other.
But walk with me in the moonlight
in the firefly light
in the light fading over the edge of the world
our world, walk with me

I sadly sulked back into the chair I sat at, that I’ve seen too many times. A feeling of melancholy raced through me as I peered out the window, hopeful. No, it was still the winter season. Snow, that I once thought was absolutely breathtaking, was no longer my companion. The dark sky was filled with a brilliant white that I felt I could stay in forever, but as I got up and stepped into my wet, furry boots, opening the door, I knew that the beauty of it was just a disguise. My greatest ambition was to conquer winter, so this was something I must do. Many of the creatures that lived in the water paid it no mind, continuing on with their own life, unaware of the water's. The water decided one day to make itself some companions, someone to flow and keep company with. The water watched many humans at its rivers and oceans and created, what the water called, Ulas based off of the females. Some were made of water while others were made of scales and flesh. Sitting in this stupid desk and making a story up in my head as I get through this two hour class. Same old things; watch the teacher write notes on the board after showing us how to do our homework. Same old black, red and green markers, same old people who never talk, same old words the teacher is saying like "manner". He'll say "manner" more than 20 times. Sometimes I think about counting…..maybe I will next time. Then he gets to when he tells us to write down the assignments and we have to be quiet and do that the rest of the period.
But that isn't what I'm going to keep going on about. Oh no! This is about my night school teacher. Or let's just call him Owl because I wouldn't want the big man to get upset or some one might kidnap him! Oh no! Not that!
I wonder what Owl does sometimes. I wonder what he does besides walk down the hall and going to room 405, scare some of his students with his appearance and sit in that desk till all his students get in.

I stand over her, looking down at her shaking body. The cut I made so neatly spread across her throat. The one person I had been searching for so long, the person I had been missing from my life all these years. And now she lay before me. Her blood, her life seeping out onto the ground, surrounding her head like a crimson Halo.
She coughed, a splatter of blood faired out in the smooth pool. I did this, I did this. Her eyes look up at me now, unblinking, air heavy in her chest, those eyes that glared down anyone so defiantly, so sure of who she was. They had fascinated me so much, though only a short time I was able to gaze upon them.
I knelt down beside her, only seeing her pale face blurred and distorted threw the tears that filled my eyes. The tears fell leaving burning trails down my face. She came back into focus, the crimson blood dripping from her powerful lips, though now they trembled. My fingers trail over them as her body shivered in the cold that surrounded a person in death
