Story Commission: pindangliciousThe savory broth filled her nose, rubbing against her nostrils with its aromatic fingers. The temperature was so hot that smoke began to escape from the boiling liquid. Within this fluid there were many spices, the noodles that swam around the bisque tangled around each other, exchanging their own wavy dance.
“Minto, come on you should really eat it! The soup tastes delicious!” A voice said from her right. She knew it belonged to her friend and she sighed in annoyance, the one thing that she hated was soup, ramen, anything that had to do with noodles. The way it smelled, looked and tasted was just so wrong to her that it was hard to convince her otherwise.
She looked down at the noodles, watching them twirl around each other as she coiled the fork around the stringy devils. She was accustomed to playing with her food when she did not like it, but she knew her friend wouldn’t let her leave without trying at least one bite.
“Please Minto!” Her friend leaned
Chapter 1: Flame PointsThe sound of water encircled the area. The subtle echo of the liquid splashing against the river stones, sent an array of euphoria to her ears. A loud crash erupted, the sound of the peaceful water being pushed out of its safe abode.
A piercing tone called out to her, “Butter! Please come in the water with me!”
She instantly recognized the voice belonging to her twin brother Scotch. Her cat ears twitched from the annoyance of her brother disturbing her tranquility. She peered one of her eyes open to see him drenched in the crystal like waters of Euteria. She couldn’t resist as the urge overtook her and the lips upon her face curved into a smile, her unmistakable feline fangs exposing themselves. The saliva dried quickly in the morning air.
“You are so silly brother, you are a walking contradiction.” She said, her smile growing wider.
Her brother tilted

The elder nodded, “This is precisely why, when the time is right, we tell him of that power. If Butter successfully falls for you and kills her master, and Scotch knowing of the outcome will not hesitate to save her.”
Haru sat back in his chair, rubbing his head, “Scotch is very noble but his sister would never allow him to do such a thing as to sacrifice himself.”
The elder grimaced, “That is why we will not make it known to her. As you know, Scotch is the switch that enables Butter’s magic. We need that magic and cannot afford it to be switched off by any means. This is a type of power I have only sensed in Ren, so it is only fitting that his own prized possession was the one factor that lead him to his downfall.”
Haru nodded, “Then where do we go from here?”
The elder adjusted himself within the

“Take a deep breath.” Uttered a voice, but it was muffled and displaced. The tone and volume would gradually grow louder, and then fade ever so softly to a whisper.
“What? Why…Why am I here?” she answered, fluttering her eyelids open, trying to focus her eyes on the setting around her.
“We can use her to get to him.” A murmur came from her right.
“This can finally be the key to destroying the humans.” Another voice said from the left.
“Silence yourselves!” a familiar tone whispered back harshly.
Butter slowly leaned her body up, only to hear the continuous whispers erupt again.
“Oh she awakens!” another voice penetrated her ears, “She must be informed!”
She rubbed her head as her vision slowly came back to see a strange scene laid out before her. She was inside what appeared to be castle grounds; the tall s
Chapter 2: DemoniButter watched as her brother continued to play in the water, completely oblivious to the reason why he could never wander past the very river he was playing within. Then a soft noise made its way towards her and she twitched her ears towards her right as she instinctively turned her head slowly to see another cat. The girl was noticeably sitting on a tree branch that was right above both of them, making no real effort to hide herself from their eyes.
Butters ears went back in aggression and a slow long growl rumbled out of her throat.
Scotch, sensing the shift of energy in the area sprung out of the water and fled towards the safety of his sister. "What is it?!" he whispered worryingly at her, shifting his eyes around the grassy meadow.
Butter let out another long territorial growl until responding to his question, "We have an int
Chapter 4: Blue PointButter released the air from her lungs, turning it into an eerie mist in the frigid night air. Her ears stood up straight on end, and her tail twitched back and forth anxiously. She hated being here, her master knew that—but he did not care. He only saw her as a pretty face, a breed to attract potential suitors. It was simple really, her master wanted to find her a perfect mate—one that was wild—in hopes to create a unique blood line, one that no one else has ever discovered. He desired to create a cross between a flame point and a blue point. The master wanted to produce a white tailed cat with soft, glowing blue tips, mixed all together with Butter's subtle orange hue. Butter was merely a pawn for the masters sick game, but fortunately for her, not a single blue point has stood up to the masters standards. She was a perfect flame point to her masters’ eyes, so only a perfect blue point could equal her flawlessness.Chapter 4: Blue Point1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This

Chapter 10: DreamButter shot her body up, gulping in the air around her. The sky above was beginning to be swallowed by darkness. The dark elements reached its shadowy fingers across the sky, spreading them, devouring all light. The individuals that resided here would soon be engulfed by this darkness. The lands were set ablaze, cats scattered all around, their bodies bruised and defiled. The smell of the air rested in the nose and on the tongue. There was no hope here. The stench rummaged through her nose, the abuse reminding her of the mistake that she had made.Chapter 10: Dream1 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Standing still, the sound of her breath and the roaring fires around had been the only noises being made. There was silence now. What had happened? How did everyone die? Why was she spared?
“Sister…” She heard a pained voice utter.
She turned her head and saw her brother. His eyes devoid of life, a large gash on his forehead spewed crimson liquid down his face, staining his light blue shirt. His white ears twitched, sending
Chapter 9: Secret FoeKokoro sat upon a tree branch, looking down at a river that slithered its way through a meadow, up into the mountains. It was a beautiful view. Euteria was magical, in its own way. She felt like she was safe here. She did not know many of the cats that resided in this place, but she did admire the beauty within their domain. Why, then, did she feel so trapped? No one knew what her life was like, what she had been through. She wished to leave it that way, but a small bit of her yearned to let it out.Chapter 9: Secret Foe1 year ago in Profiles More Like This
She longed to tell someone that the master who Butter and her friends despised, was in fact the very human she had been hired by to spy upon the young flame point. It was her own master whom was friends with Ren. They had made a pact, which was why Iris had been freed. Her master felt that Iris was too rebellious and would not agree to the order, so he dismissed her leaving Kokoro to do the job. As much as it pained her, she knew defying her masters’ orders would never be possible.
Chapter 6: The PactIris knelt, leaning forward to smell the ground as she inhaled the fleeing scent of Butter's aroma. It would be fairly easy for her to trace the scent back to the castle, as long as she followed this trail.Chapter 6: The Pact1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
Scotch puffed out his tail in anger.
“I said you are going the wrong way! Why won’t you listen to me!?”
Kokoro hushed him.
“Be patient, she has a reason for doing so.”
Iris stood up and turned towards the remaining twin.
“Your master has altered the surroundings to your house, the path in which you are used to has changed. The only way for us to find your sister is to follow this trail. It will take some patience but we have to keep moving to find her in time.”
Kokoro nodded and Iris fled towards the direction of the scent, the others running close behind her.
“What do you think he is doing to Butter?!” Scotch yelled out to Iris, but she only shook her head.
“I have no idea.” But she did know. She knew every little th

Butter's ears perked up in interest. Were her prayers finally to be answered? Was meeting this feral cat fate? To finally roam around Euteria without fear of her master following her or harming her was something she had been dreaming about. Since she was born her master would beat her, ranging from a single slap to a full fledged attack depended upon whether or not the master was in a good mood. This meant most of the beatings she received were as a result from something she did not do. She had not tried to escape before because she couldn’t bear to leave her mother and Scotch in such an awful place. Her mother had passed away in the last six months, and now the entire brunt of the beatings were inflicted on Butter. Butter had tried desperately to keep quiet so that her brother could liv

“Are you alright?”
Butter couldn’t help but feel choked by life and its burdens. The dream she had seemed so real, and out of everything she learned, she still had more questions than answers. What had she done wrong? Why was her brother always in harm’s way? Why couldn't she protect him?
She felt like she should tell Scotch about her dream, but she knew it would only frighten him. How long could she keep him in the dark? Surely if she was in his predicament she would want to know. However, Scotch was weaker than Butter, both physically and mentally. The news would just crush him.
As the blue point looked down at her, she couldn’t help but feel sour towards him and his role in her life, yet a little part of her was saddened. His fate was to be killed, not for being corrupt but for the slim chance that he could turn evil. She could not fathom killing someone who had done no wrong, that had committed
Chapter 3: CottoneseThe Demoni ran at Butter who stood her ground, bracing herself for impact. She planted her boots into the ground as the taller, stronger intruder crashed into her. Grabbing Butter's dress, the demon cat slammed her into the tree, causing a shower of leaves to fall over them as some birds squawked in annoyance, fleeing from their nests. Butter's lips curved up, baring her teeth as she puffed out her tail in animosity. She extended her claws and raised her arm, slicing across the Demoni's shoulder as a yelp escaped the demon cats' lips. Butter seized this opportunity, using the tree for leverage as she kicked her foot out and slammed it into the Demoni's stomach, flinging her into the dirt. The Demoni let out a hiss before bolting upwards and sprinting at Butter. Butter's cat-like instincts took over as the flame point jumped into the air right over the demon cat, whose momentum resulted in slamming face-first into the tree.Chapter 3: Cottonese1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This

She knew bad luck followed her but it was something that she had no power over. It was a curse set upon her for a bad deed that she had done as a child. It was a secret she kept locked inside of her mind, never wishing to let it out for the world to know.
She was not as innocent as people assumed her to be. They assumed she was just bad luck, which

Flynn was still unable to unmask that certain demon.
“Flynn. Why don’t you go talk to her instead of eyeing her down? You’re stalking her like a wolf does to his prey.”
Flynn rolled his eyes at his friend, “It’s not that easy with Rinny, you know that.”
“Aw look,” another one of his friends interjected, “You even gave her a cute nickname already. Come on,” he cleared his throat, “You act like you have never spoken before. The way I saw it was, you two are quite infatuated with each other.”

At times your mind seems so far away,
why can't we start again, become like new?
It becomes so hard just like today,
sometimes it's like you have no clue.
I would do anything to make you happy,
yet would you do the same for me?
Withstanding this hurt for a hope that seems so far away,
when you just make countless hurtful mistakes.
I wonder if you care the way I do,
the way your friends are like your glue.
You put them before your flickering love,
yet would they do the same for you?
"I'll never do it again", is what you say.
My heart bleeds now for you,
am I tortured enough to finally say adieu?
My heart of hearts is cracking, about to shatter,
the once burning fire now turning into a dim ember.
Am I forced to be a withering dweller?
Having my heart feel like it's been crushed with a hammer?
I would patch up your failing heart, baby,

Her eyes focused carefully on the fish in front of her, the cat tail that attached itself to her bottom began to get wet as it submerged itself in the glossy blue tinted water. It was very cold liquid, causing the hairs on her tail and feline ears to stand on end. She wiggled her nose as it acquired an itch.
Of course, she would get an itch during the most pivotal moment of the hunt. The itch though, it took over her mind. The urge was so much for her to take that she had no choice but to raise her shoulder up and rub it against her nose. This gave the fish, which was almost within her grasp, a warning and it began to swim faster.

Her parents had left her in this house alone. She did not know if they were alive or dead. It did not really matter to her since they had never been with her from the moment she would have been able to remember them.
She looked back towards the laughing children. They were all around thirteen and had always had their parents there to comfort them if they cried, to console, motivate and carry them through hardships. Why then, was she destined to be on her own? Was she that much of a burden even at birth to her parents? All she could thank them for was a huge amount of money they left her with which included this large house and a horde of caretakers. The money and comfort she could live without if it meant she could have her parents to love.

Face wanted to trust this woman, to let go and be free of thoughts, but that was just not plausible for her right now. If this stranger expected her to stay calm while being led to a foreign place, it was just not going to happen. She then thought back towards all the kids within the school. I wanted to ask him what that intended, but by his calm demeanor, I felt like it would just disrupt his tranquility.
The breeze picked up again, exposing my neck to its icy kiss and I trembled, “What are we doing out here again?”

I turned back towards the water, “How will we be able to see it if the clouds are blanketing over it?”
He gradually turned to look at me, “Sometimes you just have to believe.”
