Maka sat on the couch. The screen of the tv was blank. She wasn't doing anything. Just sitting and thinking. The door of the apartment opened. There were footsteps. "Hey Maka! I'm back!" Maka was broken from her trance as she recognized the voice. Soul. Her partner walked into the tiny living room and sat beside her on the couch, cradling her in his arms. "What's going on in the life of the most beautiful girl I've ever met?" Soul kissed her cheek. "Oh, life." Maka giggled and shoved him playfully. She wasn't very giggly, unless with Soul. She always laughed around him. Soul made a face. "Why've you gotta be like that?" He said playfully. "Because I just do!" She smiled and kissed him back. She curled up against Soul and rested her head on his shoulder, embracing Soul's warmth.
Soul's fingers searched for Maka's warmth in his sheets the next morning. There was no one there. Sighing sadly, Soul payed back and turned over on his back. Staring at the
SoulxMaka - Matching Scars Part 1My name is Soul Eater. I was the one seen pushing people into their lockers, stealing their phones, iPods. I learned that it was the right thing. My parents never gave a flying flip about me. They never cared for me. They favoured my brother, Wes. I never got anything for birthdays or Christmas. One day I saw a boy with the latest iPhone and flouncing it around like it was a million death dollars. I felt so... Jealous. So when the group that surrounded him left I took him by his collar. I yelled in his face, took his flipping iPhone and walked away. I heard him burst into tears and run away but I didn't care. I didn't see him again but like I said, I didn't care.SoulxMaka - Matching Scars Part 12 years ago in Romance More Like This
I kept the iPhone. I still have it now. And I started to steal more and more things. Well, I wouldn't call it 'stealing' seeing as they practically gave them to me. A boy named Black*Star became my friend. My best friend. He was an idiot sometimes. Make that most of the time. He usually held the wimpy kids up by their hands, a

All was quiet in the hospital. Only heavy breathing, the sound of Black*Star puking and the sound of a new born baby crying for the first time, just been introduced into the world. A new mother, Maka, Smiled up at her husband, Soul, the father of the baby. Maka was holding the small child in her arms, the baby was a girl. Black*Star was feeling particularly unwell from checking how the 'little dude' was going during the birth and then caused to throw up into a bucket provided.
Soul was tearing up. He was now a father, a proud one at that. Maka was exhausted. Spirit was not invited to the birth but he didn't want to witness the birth of Soul's child. Spirit even once said the baby couldn't of been Soul's, even accusing his own daughter of cheating to prove the baby was not Soul's. But the new father knew better than not to trust Maka.
Maka was looking down at her new off-spring thinking all the hard work, all the Maka-chopping her Papa, all the back-pains (solved by Soul giving her da

//Today was Valentines Day, but too me it was more than that. Maybe the day I got to tell Kid I really like him? I'm not quite sure myself actually.\\
"Soul, hurry up the party's about to start!" Maka yelled as she was finishing up some red heart cookies she had baked for Valentines Day, "Black Star is almost here already." Soul quickly peers out of his room and walks over to Maka nervously. "Hey, uhm, does this look fine on me?" he says while looking down at his plain black pants and a new, bright orange shirt. "Yeah, yeah, it looks great. Now go clean up around the tv." she snaps back and places the red heart-shaped cookies on a plate on the kitchen table. Still shaky, Soul walks over to the apartments living room and picks up some cups left around the couch and puts them back into their place in the kitchen. "Soul, what's gotten you so worked up lately?" Maka says gently and looks him in his crims

Days until wedding: 4 days
"Well, big days soon aye Soul?" Black*Star asks, his friend lounged on his own couch. The friends had decided to spend one last day together before the big wedding day. Soul stretches and yawns.
"Yep. Nervous as you can freaking imagine." He mutters, looking at the ceiling as he moved his eye from the T.V. "REALLY NERVOUS…" He moans covering his face with his hands.
"You alright man?" Black*Star asks. Soul sits up to sit on the couch normally, rubbing his hands.
"Just… Maka marrying a guy like me ya know? Why she'd even-" Soul rambles.
"Bro, don't think about it. You and Maka are having the largest wedding in the history of the city! And your wedding planner…" Black*Star says rubbing his forehead right as the door from the other room shoots open. Kid, in his death robe attire, bursts in with a stack of books and papers. "Is Lo

Maka lay asleep in the hospital bed. She had just gotten worn out due to a crazy visit from Kid, BlackStar, Tsubaki, and the twins. That kind of visit can wear anyone out. As she slept, Maka suddenly felt a presence. A dark, shadowy presence hidden in the darkness. This frightening feeling made Maka sit up in her bed. She realized, it was only Crona. "Crona!" She gasped with a smile. "It's like...midnight. What are you doing?" "This was the best time. Could see you." Crona seemed...serious. He didn't stand the way he use to, hugging his arm, constantly saying, "I don't know how to handle that." Maka saw this maturity change, and couldn't help but smile.
"Soul's asleep." She nodded to her partner who was hooked to an IV machine. "I know." Crona stepped into the moonlight. "I just want to know what happened, why those mercenary assassins want you so badly. Please Maka? Can you tell me?"
I stared at Crona. Finally, taking a deep breath, I told Crona

Eyes to the floor, eyes to the floor, the blonde girl muttered in her head as she quickened her pace past the main hall to her assigned quarters. How could she have slept in, today of all days? She couldn’t believe that Tusbaki had just let her sleep in like that. She quietly pushed open the large heavy wooden doors that lead into the right wing of the house. She hurried to the servant’s room to collect her equipment before rushing into the first room of the day. She placed her stuff on the small table, grabbing a table cloth; she began to dust the surfaces of the tables and windows.
Her body, having been rudely awakened only moments ago by sheer panic, settled into the familiar routine as if like clockwork. Unfortunately, because her work needed hardly any thought, that left way too much space for her mind to wonder. She mostly thought about how, if her father wasn’t such a cheating, gambling pig she wouldn’t have to be working yet but instead st

As the snow fell, snowflakes glistening like stars, I stared out the window. After sitting there for a while, I forced myself to get off the couch, attempting to stifle a yawn. The gang was out bowling, but I stayed home because it was nearing Valentine’s Day. The only reason I didn’t go was because I wanted to make a special chocolate for Soul. Since everybody started staying at our little place, I never had any downtime. And since now that I do, I skipped to the kitchen to begin my masterpiece. I headed to the pantry to grab some ingredients; I ran the recipe through my head. While Soul was out doing who knows what, I had picked up some books from the library. I felt exhilarated, which caused me to move faster, like I was flying. Smiling like a maniac I whipped out the book and got down to business.
As I melded the elements together, I wondered what they might be doing right now. As if answering my question, I heard footsteps and voices down t
