There is always a reason. A level of insult. An unprovoked assault. A threat of invasion. A refusal to negotiate in good faith. A refusal to compromise. There is always something so unbearable that it must be righted with no more delay and by any means, by even the last means, necessary. That final means is war.
Ever since mankind became able to produce and possess more than necessary for survival, there has been a surplus of resources. It is the treasure that has built our civilization and shaped the special magic and glory of what it is to be a human being.
The struggle for control and division of that treasure sometimes infects men’s minds with a unique
AsexualityAlright, considering that this worked out very well last time and I'm bored I thought that I'd talk about another facet of my personality. I don't know if I would call it unusual, because apparently about every one out of a hundred people are asexual...? Honestly, it feels like a lot less and I'll get into that. For those who don't know, I am an aromantic asexual. You can be one without the other, although I don't know how common that actually is. It seems very simple to me and a very easy concept to grasp: people who are asexual do not have a sexual attraction to people of either gender, and people who are aromantic do not desire a romantic relationship with either gender. But honestly, anyone who has gone through middle school can tell that... life without sexual goals, desires, or interests is very different. Literally every conversation I had in the seventh grade was this:Asexuality6 months ago in Personal More Like This

"Oh, so you're gay then."

“Sometimes we lay aside our own troubles when we wipe away another's tears.”
Is no longer alone
his life is not easy; a winding, sometimes whimsical, sometimes tragic journey that ultimately finds terminus in the same common destination for each of us. No matter the brave, fierce constructs we build and serve that would have us believe we are each one of us all alone as we make this journey, we make our way toward the end of all things side-by-side in our community of the living each day defying death. Our paths may be wildly divergent—the way of the hungry and impoverished traveling the same timeline with the grotesquely indulgent, the very best of us side-by-side with the most evil of us; but all headed for the same fate: dust. Cities of the Future

What do you think your favorite city will look like in one hundred years?
Architect Rem Koolhaas has completed a “vertical city” complex in Rotterdam, bringing a new style of multi–purpose skyscrapers to the city skyline. Bennett Stein wrote about the new buildings for KCRW’s Design & Architecture blog, calling the creator “the Godzilla of architecture.”
Here’s an excerpt from Stein’s essay:

Dungeons and Dragons Antheia AnRaza II
When you think Dungeons and Dragons, you may be inclined to picture a dark basement with broody, antisocial teens whispering spells and incantations over leather-bound tomes.
Perhaps D&D owes its cultural notoriety to the religious backlash against it in the 80s, as well as the over-the-top depiction of fantasy gaming and its players

Ends of the Earth
The photographs in the following gallery look like CGI artists’ conceptions for alien planet settings in science–fiction movies.
But the locations are all places to be experienced right here on Earth. So much of our world is becoming “flyover” territory in our high–tech mobile society that amazing places like those in these studies are becoming lost to us. Take a long look at each of these landscapes and then ask yo

"You can't just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
What mood is that?
You are well-aware of the importance of this project, in fact you can't wait to get to it! Too bad you promised your friends to go for a drink, and then there's that movie. Also, your productivity is at its strongest at Midnight, first Tuesday after the Full Moon, starting earlier would be a waste of time. Make sure you are well-rested! After all, is there a better way to prepare yourself for a productive tomorrow than an enjoyable today?
Your diagnosis: Procrastination positive.

Into the Realm
“Evening songs of burning wood and mead and laughter, of blood and hunts and fellowship: our halls echo with memories old and new. A day through forest and field, chasing the smell of spring, a moment above the morning mist to steal a glimpse of seas twinkling on the horizon; an eternity before our gates, in wonderment at the carved quests of heroes, coming alive at a fingertip’s request. Witness a lifetime into the realm… it is quite the adventure.”

Character Design: An introductionCharacter Design: An introduction3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Arvalis-2012 by arvalis
What does 'Character Design' mean?
The character design is the process which comes after the characterisation and consists in defining the character through his/her physical appearance.
We need to consider a character as a little fictional creature, human or not, that aims to please its creator and the public as well.
While the basic characterization of this fictional creature (his tastes, his fears, his behaviors) may take a little mental effort, as it is a sort of list of emotions, facts and feelings that come and go in the life of a character, the process of visual realization of this creature may not be as simple. That's why many writers and characters creators prefer to rely on experienced hands.
Also many of the mental aspects of the character are not possible to gain by using 'static' visual medium. For 'static' I mean all the illustrations and drawings unable to tell a

The “Foundation” of modern science fiction
The early modern science fiction adventures written by Jules Verne and H.G. Wells pre–dated his by several decades, but it was Isaac Asimov whom the “Star Trek” generation of the 1960s thought of as being the “father” of modern hard sci–fi.

Almost was Dead/RIP my carSo this was intended to say that I'll have stuff posted soon as I've been using my lunchbreaks to work on a few things including my SWTOR comic and a comic to come, but instead I almost died today.Almost was Dead/RIP my car1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Now I gotta ask all yah mother fuckers out there that if you're driving please remember the three things, because it's all you need to be concerned with on the road:
1. Speed limit
3. The road
That's it. Anything else is a minor detail. I say this cause just a few hours ago I was in a nasty wreck that was caused by a young driving not fucking paying attention which she got reckless driving and a nasty bill to cover my car, but that means nothing cause it's damn lucky that no one died or was hurt. She could of died, I could have, when I was spinning out of control someone else could have lost it and made it worse. It was damn lucky. We all were lucky (except my car which looks like one of the Police Cruisers from the big crash in The Blues Brother
