This is a quick summary of some basic guidelines I wrote for Letraset for putting together Manga faces in an upwards and downwards view. For full text and guidelines, please go to the official Letraset blog, which will be updated every other Tuesday from me:

Please note, these are basic tutorials for the beginner, so the style of drawing in the examples is kept quite rigid and simple for ease of understanding ^^ guidelines should be tweaked to match your style as well as the type of character you draw.

I also have a summary for front, side and 3/4 view here:

As promised, Pictures of a Purrito.
Which is a misbehaving cat, wrapped up like a Burrito and cuddled to punish it.

In this case, Tiger was climbing around INSIDE the sofa.
Bad Tiger.

Also, please, caption the hell out of this for me.
This is in stock, because honestly, I've got no idea where to put it.
If you know, please tell me.

Contains sarcasm a little.

My intention is not to mock any specific fandom/person/group. This is all about people who are ready to do anythingto become popular, even at point where it all becomes ridiculous.
Drew everything free handed.

Since you guys wanted to see how I colour, here you go!
It's more of a process thing than a tutorial though lolsob

I hope my writing isn't too illegible lmao
not sure if i'm gonna put this in scraps later
I actually drew something else today, but I'll wait a few days before postin'! midterms are coming up lolsob

And this is basically just how I generally go about colouring; it is by no means the best way or even the right way, but it's pretty fun! I hope it...somewhat helps LOL

btw I use Paint Tool SAI
and btw happy thanksgiving, fellow Canadians!
'later, dudes
