Here they are, the sequel to the popular Transparency Cursors [link] . They were made to fit in with the aero styling of windows 7 ( I use this visual style [link] ).
To install, extract the contents of the .zip file and right click the .inf file and click install. Then, if they have not already been set, go into your start menu and type mouse into the search bar, then click enter. If you have XP you can go into the control panel and click on the mouse icon... Then select the pointers option at the top and then click the drop down menu and select Transparency 2. Then click ok and it's all done!
P.S. I don't really know how to set them on a mac... Just Google it...
This is my second kh cursor pack! Hope you like it, if you do, comment or favoure it! Maybe I'll make a donald or goofy version..
The cursors are zipped, so you'll need to unzip them..
Picture Sources: [link] ---------------------------------------------- HOW TO "INSTALL" THE ICONS: 1. Go to Control Panel in the start panel. 2. Click on |mouse| and choose the |Pointers| Tab 3. Double click the different cursors, locate the unZipped folder on the computer and replace the respective cursors. ( Or however you want to.) 4. If you want to, you can save the new scheme so you can easily select the pack at once.
This is my attempt from last year to create a rainmeter desktop based upon my favorite wallpaper (which is from the MMO video game EVE Online). I don't intend on working on it anymore unless the interest arises.
To Install Download and install rainmeter 2.2, download the file to the right. Then double click your new .rmskin file of your choice (currently 1920x1080 and 1366x768 choices available). Done!
Many of the gauges are merely repurposed from other suites, and the respective credits for each gauge is in their code. Among the things that I did myself is the links guage, the time guage, and the rotating rings pretty much had to be completely redone. Oh and the scanning bar things. Yeah. So you're all free to use anything that I've made.
The time guage changes dynamically for what time of day (as inspired by my navy rotc roommate. For instance, after 12, it will no longer say "Have a good rest of the day, commander" and instead say "have a good afternoon, commander". Same for the beginning "good "X""
To change the links on the side Just right click the link, go to "Edit Skin", find which text you want to change (for instance, METERTEXT2 for Gizmodo on mine), then put the url in quotations between the brackets. After that replace the name under the variable named "Prefix" to whatever you want in quotations. Its much easier than it sounds, and I doubt many of you want to be going to Embry-Riddle's Student Site or use Zune
If the guages aren't fitting right... This was designed for 1920x1080 desktops with the wallpaper included set at "Stretch". If there is interest for more resolutions and even more wallpapers, that might come.
If it is taking up too much CPU time... I suggest increasing the update time of the largest rotating targeter labeled "large targeter.ini". Also, if you can, reduce its width and height. The bigger the image to rotate, the harder the CPU has to work to calculate that. For me, reducing it by about half and increasing the update time to 150 reduces the CPU usage from ~9 percent to under 3 or 4
If you have questions or suggestions... Please ask and I'll get them answered or fixed right away! If you have a suggestion or want something added, I'll try and update the theme with it asap!
PS... If you have any more space wallpapers... send me a link. I NEED MORE
