Unseen but Not Unloved - Chapter 1
(A/N: In this story, Reader-Chan has a hair curl. It's only mention once or twice, but it's there. It's not any specific curl, just which ever one you'd like! ^^ )
Today was the day. Today would be your first world meeting! To be honest, you were nervous- trembling even. Sure, you had been introduced to most of the countries and got to know them a little bit, but the fact of having to be around them all at once made you doubt yourself. Fiddling with your fingers, you looked to your feet as you walked down the halls on the UN building, your curl bouncing as you walked. Proudly walking next to you was Alfred F. Jones, better known as America.
"Dude, you need to chill!" The American laughed as he saw your recluse-like posture. "It's really not that hard, besides, I bet you won't even have to give a speech, this being your first meeting and all," Alfred smiled when your eyes [e/c] widened.
"I- I might have to give a speech?!" You looked
FrancexChild!Reader- Vouloir, C'est Pouvoir Part 1You sat alone, swinging slowly on the swing set behind the fence of the orphanage that you had lived in for as long as you remembered. It was a dreary place, set right in the center of New York City, in the United States. The people who ran it were nice enough, but no one seemed to come here looking to adopt anymore. The orphanage was running out of money, and another child had heard the owners of the place attempting to get some help from the state to keep it open.FrancexChild!Reader- Vouloir, C'est Pouvoir Part 13 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Days seemed to roll by quickly, even though you never really got to do anything other than sit outside on the swings or run around in the yard with the other children. Simple games of tag and hide-and-seek were common, but they could only be played so many times before they became boring. So you would sit on the swings, usually alone.
Behind the fence, a man with blonde hair stood watching you, concern lacing his features. His hair was long and currently was tied back with a blue ribbon. A few stubborn strands had refused t

You sighed, already feeling aggravated with the blonde man who was driving you to an unknown destination.
Alfred frowned at you, "Come on, (y/n), you're going to enjoy yourself, trust me!"
You roll your eyes, but decide not to say anything. Sitting in silence, you gaze out the window with your (e/c), watching the scenery pass by. After a while, Alfred pulls into a parking lot.
"We're here~ Come on, (nickname), lets go!" Alfred says, practically dragging you out of the car in his excitement.
"Don't fucking drag me Alfred! Where the hell are we?" You ask him.
He grins at you, "We are at Mandy's roller skating rink. You like roller skating, don't you?"
You freeze up at the name of the place. It was one of the last places Arthur had taken you before he died.
"Come on Arthur, let's go!" You say as you run up to Mandy's roller skating rink.
Arthur chuckles, "There's no need to rush, love."
You playfully pout, "Well, you're just too

I sat quietly at my lunch table, eating my sandwich and reading. I sat by myself a lot at lunch just because I preferred to be alone. I wasn’t bullied or picked on or didn’t have friends; I just enjoyed sitting by myself. I was so engrossed in my novel that I didn’t realize that someone had walked up to me. He cleared his throat, making me jump slightly. I looked up at the boy and smiled, blushing softly.
Arthur Kirkland was a senior, like myself, and had a large group of friends that he was almost always hanging out with. He had messy blonde hair that always had a sexy, just tousled look about it. His deep, emerald eyes were always so readable but only if you were paying attention. He had thick eyebrows which only complimented his look and an English accent any woman would swoon ove

A/N: Enjoy!!! I hope this is good enough for y'all...
You had a death grip on the steering wheel as you raced over to the hospital. You had just gotten a call saying that your fiancé, Arthur Kirkland, had gotten into a car accident, and that he wasn't in good shape. Your heart was racing in your chest, 'Calm down, (y/n), he can't die…' You thought to yourself as you moved your (h/c) hair out of your face, 'He can't die before we get married. He promised.' You finally got into the emergency room, where the doctors led you to Arthur's room. When you saw him lying there on the bed, your heart just wanted to break. His usual untidy blond hair was a huge mess of tangles. Arthur had a gauze taped over one of his emerald green orbs that use to sparkle, but now were clouded with sadness and pain. His head turned a bit towards you when he saw you come in. He tried to give you a reassuring smile, but it just made you worry even more.
You went over and sat down in a small cha

You quietly exited your room as you overheard your parents talking.
"Alfred love, can you chop wood for the winter's fires," Arthur asked.
It was fall, but the family loved to gather around the fire and watch a good Disney movie a lot, so, as a result, Alfred was required to chop a lot of wood.
You peeked around the wall blocking the hallway from the kitchen, where your parents, Alfred and Arthur, were talking.
Alfred stood up from his chair. "Of course I can," Alfred said, catching a glance at you.
As he looked at you, you came out from behind the wall, 'flying' on the ground like an airplane, moving your arms up and down opposite of each other, running straight into Alfred, bear hugging his legs and laughing.
Alfred laughed along and picked you up.
Your actions even got a chuckle from Arthur as he watched the other members of his family bond.
Alfred turned you upside-down, making sure your pink shirt

The door slowly opened to the small apartment and was shut just as slowly. When the door clicked shut, a lamp was turned on and an arm chair swiveled around. The man that just walked in froze and slowly turned around. His green eyes met angry (e/c) ones as you stared down your boyfriend. He was late again and this had been going on for weeks now, since you moved in with him.

I felt through my backpack, trying to find my lunchbox. I grabbed the handle and felt for the table. I set my lunch down on the smooth surface and felt for the zipper. I opened it and blindly reached for my food and started eating. I’d learned real quick to keep all my stuff close by or else it’d get taken. People were just mean that way.
I knew I was alone. I didn’t need to be able to see to know this. I was a loner, even when I had my sight. I would sit by myself and watch people walk by me, not even trying to resist throwing me dirty looks. At least now I couldn’t see the looks they gave me. I adjusted the dark glasses on my nose and finished eating. I knew they were dark because the doctor at the hospital had told me. It was so I didn’t freak people out with the way my eyes looked now.
I shoved the lunchbox back into my bag and sat. I didn’t have anything else to do. I couldn

You snapped your head from packing to the direction of the screeching Brit. The American next to him had outstretched its wings in an attempt to 'show it how to fly.'
You sighed at their antics and zipped up your (f/c) suitcase.
While Arthur showed his half-brother how it was done, you rolled your bag to the awaiting car. Matthew was there with his pet polar bear. Hefting your heavy bag, you basically threw it in the back of Arthur's rental van.
"Oh, _______, do you think Kumajiro will be allowed to come to Hogwarts with us?" pleaded the Canadian, snuggling his bear.
"Who are you?" it softly said. You chuckled. "Mattie, if they allow Quidditch like Arthur said, I'm sure they'll allow a harmless bear."
Your mind drifted once again to the 'deadly' game and shuddered. The way Arthur interpreted it, it didn't sound li

You made your way into the kitchen and opened the cabinets looking for cereal or something. Finally, you found (f/cereal). You poured it into a bowl with milk and turned to the table. You nearly yelped when you saw Austria there sipping tea.
"Good morning, (name)." he said.
"Good morning." You replied. "You startled me."
You started eating. "So how did you sleep?"
"Same as always."
You sweat-dropped. Conversations with Austria weren’t even conversations. You decided to give up and ate in silence. When you were almost done eating, you saw Prussia walk into the room, shirtless, earing Prussian flag lounge pants. He still looked asleep. "Come on, (name)." You turned and saw your brother, Prussia, running up the stairs to a big house, well more like mansion; it seems being a country had its perks, the house he shared with Germany and Austria, as you were told by your best friend Hungary. "Zis is our home. Follow me und I'll take you to your room."
You nodded and grabbed your bags and followed the white hair of your brother, leaving the blonde haired blue eyes of your other brother behind by the taxi getting the rest of his own bags. Inside looked even bigger than it did outside.
It seemed more like a hotel then a home if anything. As soon as you walked in you saw stairs that led upstairs and from there a hall way that went to either side of the house. Prussia was standing at the top of the stairs, looking down at you expectantly. You followed him and he took you down the hall to the left.
"Exactly how many rooms do you have here?" You asked.

You picked up the note with trembling hands, 'This can't be happening.....' You thought to yourself, 'Is all of this a dream? I feel like I'm in some dumb movie.' Your (e/c) eyes bore into the note, studying every little detail there was. The handwriting matched Arthur's perfectly, even the paper used looked like it was torn from his journal. How was all of this possible? It didn't make a bit of sense to you. You wished dearly you had someone to talk to about this, but no one would believe you, and Alfred would probably freak out at the mere mention of a ghost. Letting out a sigh, you put the note in your personal drawer by your bed. It wouldn't be a good idea to leave something like that around, especially if Alfred dropped by. England stood on tip-toes, trying to get a better look through the shop window. The doll was still there. A life-sized child doll. It sat dressed in the clothes of a court lady, resplendent in a rich purple gown. It was embroidered an intricate web of wines that seemed to have no beginning or ending. It seemed so alive, and in fact, pretty much the only thing that gave it away was the dead look in its glass eyes. They stared blankly on, reflecting England's intent gaze.
His feet were getting tired, so he dropped down to his regular height again. He turned around, pressing his back to the wall, and leaned against it, observing the street. London did nothing to elevate his mood. Winter had just started, and there was a thin blanket of snow covering the street. A few people hurried along, completely swaddled in scarves and blankets. The odd horse cart made slow progress through the streets, th

To Alfred’s surprise he hadn’t been hassled by any other nation in the last week.
No phone calls. No letters. No visits.
Very strange indeed.
Even if it seemed overly strange that Matthew had been the only one to visit him and (f/n), it was better this way. That meant that a certain Australian didn’t know about what Alfred had done to his favorite city.
That also meant that a certain American could play the Father role to the best of his abilities, which was dead-on. Minus a little snag of a fearful child from an overly scary movie.

When Will My Life Begin?
This is the story of how I died. Don't worry, this is actually a very fun story and the truth is, it isn't even mine. This is the story of a girl named Artemis. And it begins with the stars.
One day, a lone star fell from the skies, landing on a cliff, from where a single flower grew from it. This flower held the power to heal, and all throughout the kingdom, it was searched for, in order to save the Queen, who was ill and with child. It was not found by the king's men, however, but by a tall, built man, named Lawrence Crock, many years ago. Now, he was not your average man, no, he was very old, older than the kingdom, but the flower kept him youthful.
How you may ask? Well, the flower itself, healed, but the pollen, he had discovered, harmed. More specifically, it took the youth of a victim, and transferred it to someone else. So, every few months, he'd go to the flower with his latest prey, and sing to it

The Phantom beckoned me toward his side at the pianoforte, a single finger summoning my presence. Trembling with joy, I drew eagerly near him. I stared in bewilderment, still amazed that my heavenly teacher truly existed in flesh and blood and blessed me with his attention. As I stood by his side, he stood slowly, elegantly, regally, his eyes tracing slowly over my face, studying it carefully. His mouth curled into the slightest of smiles, and he began to sing.
His divine voice began quietly, but with a hidden current of strength. It was sweet and dulcet, but at the same time strong and confident. The music steeped gently into my blood, warming me and soothing me like a lullaby. His voice moved with power and delicacy, like the opening bloom of flower. My whole soul trembled with pleasure. I thought, for a minute, that it was Heaven where I at last dwelt, and before me was an angel in the garb of a simple black tuxedo and cape, beck
