The Girl Who Didn't ExistThere was a girl who didn't seem to existThe Girl Who Didn't Exist2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
In either time or space.
The world spun without a care.
It's like she wasn't. Even. There.
It was like she was a chill in the night
That ran up people's spines,
But no one ever noticed her
And her visibility to others continued to decline.
She felt like she existed-
But that was just a lie.
Because one night as she watched the world
In the shadows
She let out her final cry.
And so the girl who didn't exist
Became a whisper in the night
And her sorrowful whispers haunt my mind
Every. Single. Night.

what has not been named
I haven't asked
if you disagree,
but I'm not one tasked
by the enemy
I support all womens' health,
not just physical
Social, emotional self
and the spiritual
I haven't asked
if you disagree-
don't feel attacked
by the enemy
I expect those who would lead
to show honesty
Compromise is what we need,
grounded in reality
I haven't asked
if you disagree,
but I'm not one backed
by the enemy
I hold that love isn't made
but can be given
It's not about "getting laid"
or who's sex-driven
I haven't asked
if you disagree-
don't believe I'm masked
by the enemy
Between you and me
there is no doubting
the world we see,
so I'm not asking
Cherish all that you concieve

because I'll always believe
you are not the enemy

You are here for a purpose.
You are worth more that the moon and the stars.
There is no point to live.
I will show you the point of your existance.
I want to go home to you.
I am not done with you yet, my child.
I can't do anything right.
I will give you the strength to fight on.
But you don't understand.
No, you don't understand.

Why do I feel
Without you by my side.
Why am I
If I made the choice.
Why do I hunger
Though I let you go.
I never realized
How important you were
Until you've gone.
Now I want you back
Back by my side
But I cannot find you.
Shall I see your face.
Or hear your quiet laugh.
I've hurt you
Stabbed you too hard.
That sweet love
We once had
Our love is lost
'Cause I didn't treasure.
I threw away what mattered most.

Don't you ever wonder
Why people think you're beautiful?
Why they think you're talented and smart?
Why they would waste so much time on you?
Does it ever confuse you
When people give you support?
I have no value, why do they care?
I can't do anything, I can't be a help.
Why do they even stay?
A simple reason, really,
Why they think what they think.
They see who we truly are.
Beyond what your mind has thought up.
They don't see you through broken glass.
Through the window that's been fogged up.

that we will be flooded and washed away
much like the dreams I had once upon a time.
I'm cold and the thermostat is broken
but nothing ever seems to work these days
anyways. Night's now staved off, bringing longer days
so I take advantage of it, letting the sun rain
down on me and serve as relief for my broken
heart. It's amazing what happens when you believe
in what you can't see. I used to pray all the time
but then I lost faith and watched it slip away
like the time I went numb as you pushed me away
as if I was cancer. It was the darkest of days
for me and there's never an hour or time
where thoughts of the past cease to rain
down on my fragile mind. The doctors believe
they can stitch me up but I'm sure I'll stay broken
and never be whole again. I'm the kind of broken
that you never see fixed. There must be a way

I promise to smile, I promise to laugh.
I promise to be nice

I promise to be strong
Even when you treat me wrong.

Better than you've learned how to use it.
And I promise to smile, and promise to laugh.
Yes, I promise.

the first thing i learned was that
some people just pretend to be okay
but inside theyre breaking.
a lot of things (i mean people, and i mean you)
are not always what they seem to be.
another thing i learned was that
all good things come to an end.
(but maybe in our case, it was for the best.)
theres a fine line between
love and hate.
i could never decide which one
i should have used to describe you.
you once told me
that i looked prettiest when i cried.
(but i think you just liked seeing me hurt.)
sometimes, when its late
and no one else is home

Chapter 1: Flame PointsThe sound of water encircled the area. The subtle echo of the liquid splashing against the river stones, sent an array of euphoria to her ears. The piercing heat of the morning star kissed the skin of her face, as the frigid wind caressed her body.Chapter 1: Flame Points2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
A loud crash erupted, the sound of the peaceful water being pushed out of its safe abode.
A piercing tone called out to her, “Butter! Please come in the water with me!”
She instantly recognized the voice belonging to her twin brother Scotch. Her cat ears twitched from the annoyance of her brother disturbing her tranquility. She peered one of her eyes open to see him drenched in the crystal like waters of Euteria. She couldn’t resist as the urge overtook her and the lips upon her face curved into a smile, her unmistakable feline fangs exposing themselves. The saliva dried quickly in the morning air.
“You are so silly brother, you are a walking contradiction.” She said, her smile growing wider.
Her brother tilted

Hearing such musica from the puso
Sensation that rises to believe
Echo a transition to find me
I just close my eyes
Through the problematics
The drama and uncontrollable taste for love

In a Little Girl's MindThere sits the girl with the things in her eyesIn a Little Girl's Mind2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Monsters, destruction, and sweet butterflies
Hopscotch and daisies, surrounded by screams
Beautiful dresses now torn at the seams
Crayons and paintbrushes, villains and grins
Young, gladsome innocence, hatred and sins
Little red houses on roads left to fade
Gorgeous moonlight shining off of the blade
Blood pouring out as she cries her own name
Knowing she's forced to take each bit of blame
She could have stopped it and left it behind
All of these things in her troubled young mind
She could have saved them if she dared to try
Rather, though, she left herself there to die.
Now, others watch as she sits on the ground
Keeping their distance and letting her drown
In her own worries and things she won't tell
Waiting for her mind to kill her as well…
Lovely AnneI once met a girl named AnneLovely Anne2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
and what a lovely girl was she.
She sat in corners and talked
and talked when no one listened.
While lovely Anne was so lovely
no one went near lovely Anne
and her never-ending talking.
Lovely Anne with black hair
and dark skin. Never listened
to the voice of society.
Lovely Anne talked of a world
so unlike our own.
No one went near her,
but everyone listened
to the thoughts of a wonderful world.
Lovely Anne lived in a world
where the clocks struck thirteen
where everyone loved
where everyone smiled
and tears were never shed.
The walls and floors
objects and papers
that she talked to day and night
held to her words
and wished for her world.
Poor Lovely Anne had no friends.
But lived in a world that was entirely her own.
Lovely Anne who never left her world
and thought reality was imaginary.

Yes, in the distance lies the sun and the prize.
So while the path's full of curves, and the route's all uphill,
And although I may swerve, I'll follow it still.
