Tell us what defines you as a person.
Oh man, what a loaded question. I'm such a debacle of emotions and hypocrisies I don't know where to start. I'm a cosplayer? That seems a good a place to start as any. I'm in my early twenties and trying to find just where I belong on this world we call home.
How did you found out about deviantART and why di

The “alternative universe” has long been a sci–fi trope, usually simply a good–guy bad–guy heroes and villains reversal. Like the Star Trek episode (“Mirror, Mirror”) in which a transporter glitch lands Kirk on an evil pirate “parallel universe” Enterprise where Spock is a goateed murderer with mutiny on his agenda. But real scientists have complicated things considerably, with “string theory” positing at least eleven (and possibly an infinite number) of “alternative/parallel universes.”
Once upon a time, we pondered our relative insignificance as sin

Strength and Discipline
When “strength” is the topic, do you think of physical or machine power—or of will power and determination to achieve the goals of your cause?
Relative to size, no human being has ever been as powerful as a common ant. And one person’s life ambition is often another person’s conception of total madness. Context and perspective is everything — as you’ll find illustrated by perusing the following gallery of image

The Warrior and the Mage
“Preys of the thirst of blades and hunger of spells, what are we but witnesses of a war of two? Steel cloaks the hills as mist rises from the seas, and the night grows bright from shining swords and enchanted words. Whose blood will it be on the meadows, whose cry will echo the victory? When the drums are put to sleep, who will rule between the warrior and the mage?”

1. Be happy about yourself.
You can work forever just to make that one painting look perfect. This might restrict you from doing more work and might prevent you from doing more work for your clients. Make it look good and if there is time left, make it perfect. Okay that one is kind off common but now the fun starts.
2. Don't try and hit on a girl or guy via chat or something while you have tight deadlines.
Just don't, it takes up enormous amounts of time and concentration. So for all you single sexy artists, just wait until your deadline is finished.
3. Stay in shape, physical and psychological.
First off its always good for you to be in top condition so you can preform way better. But this also helps in a lot of other aspects, for one it helps you sleep better. Feeling good about yourself improves your self confidence and that will also show in your work. Another good reason is self reference photo's, if your better in shape odds are that you're bo

it is so true I swear.
To those who've been passing by my profile, you might've noticed a custom box with all my favourites in it. Well, its for good reason:
I've been meaning to clean up my favourites and put them in collections, just to sort them out. So far, with luck, I've been managing to do so and my effort's paid off... but having said that, I've revisited my roots and found myself going through all those old works which helped me understand... why I joined dA in the first place... Stockers I Hate, Feature EditionSo, the stock community has grown and improved so much since I first started producing stock, and there are so many stockers whose stock I love.Stockers I Hate, Feature Edition2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
These aren't them. The stockers featured here are the people whose stock is so good, that I hate them out of pure jealousy. They tend to be people with resources or abilities beyond the scope of my own, and much the same taste. I'm only featuring stockers that primarily produce male stock, because that's what Ari and I do. If I featured female stockers I envied as well, we'd be here all year.
The first that has to be mentioned, of course, is jademacalla. I've hated him from day one, in a good way. His stock is awesome, and often makes me think "That must be uncomfortable."
In the vein of obnoxiously athletic stockers, I'd be wrong not to mention DaeStock, 'cuz, well, Duuuuuude. If you're looking for epic displays of male physicality, he's the stocker for you.
I also hate (in the good way) Nemesis-19 Not all of his stock is up my

Belated Feature #23 by shehrozeameenThis journal is on behalf of LadyOfSilver.Belated Feature #23 by shehrozeameen2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Hello everyone! My name's shehrozeameen and I'm from the critique department of :iconevery-photo:. Its 10:13AM here in Pakistan, so good morning to everyone from my side!
Anywho, most of you might have been wondering "where's the feature"? For those of you who didn't know (or were not informed), LadyOfSilver's grandfather passed away, and honoring his last request she and her family had to go to his village. She's been really busy catching up with school assignments and hence, hasn't been online for quite a while.
Thus, instead of the routine fixture, I wanted to go for something... different. This feature is going to be a mixed bag, with the best works in my opinion of all or most of the folders being featured.
So, lets get started!

It takes a certain amount of skill and dynamic ambition to make coffee art. The only other person I know who made coffee art was Guruzone, b
Changes to the Prints AgreementChanges to the Prints Agreement2 years ago in DeviantArt Announcements More Like This
As part of a general review of the Prints Program we noticed that the Prints Agreement needed clarity.
We changed the way in which we describe pricing because we have changed the way in which pricing is displayed during the submission process.
We also wanted to clearly explain the impact of promotional offers on the Artist Profit.
More than two years ago we blended the Premium Print Program with the Premium Membership (they used to be different). We have now updated the language in order to better distinguish the differences between Premium and Standard Print Program features in the Prints Agreement. Finally, we fixed some word choices and grammar to make the Agreement a better read.
To compare the new Prints Agreement with the former Prints Agreement click here. (We've provided you with a helpful document that shows all of the language that has
What-up humanity? It's almost easy to see why people stop caring about anybody else and just start to look after número uno.What-up humanity?1 year ago in Personal More Like This
The world fosters it.
The media fosters it.
Consumerism fosters it.
And sometimes giving a shit just doesn't seem to pay dividends - it isn't the yin yang we hope for in our hippy days.
Good people can live miserable, forgotten lives.
Bastards can live and die like kings.
The universe doesn't care.
I remember hearing once that we are communists in our youth, socialists, then eventually conservatives in our selfish old age.
Nobody cares about the old, so speak your mind and take what you can get, that message suggests.
Your every thought of freedom was folly.
Every aspiration towards a better, more caring world was pointless.
Lock the doors.
Don't trust the strangers.
If you don't you're a damn fool.
Looking at groups like ISIS it's hard to argue an alternative point sometimes.
Where are we going so wrong?
