You could see him, even though no one else could. You know what he's been through, but all the credit is given to Britain. He's your hero, but his brother is already self proclaimed. His own mother nations can't see him even after all he's done for them. America will waltz in and suddenly he's proclaimed the hero, only because he became fed up with the Germany, not because he was going to support his mother country.
His own brother has tried to take him over, more than once. The fear never left his mind. Russia had owned a part of him at one time, now his brother does. He can't even call it part of him anymore. Another part of him wants to leave for the part is fed up with having their rights taken away, till this day that part still wants leave.
His land is the second largest in the world, but still is never recognized. The only time people usually see him is when they need his resources, his soldiers. Being as kind as he is, he always gave into helping.

You walked along the bitter cold streets of Kingston, Ontario. The snow covered the sidewalks and streets, making it a tad slippery to step on. You shoved your bare hands in your pockets as you walked to Confederation Park. The street lights and bustling bars of downtown could always make you smile. The small city was always so lively and friendly.
The Christmas lights that hung around the buildings made it that much cheerier. Although most people were at home spending time with their loved ones on Christmas Eve. You still saw a few couples walking hand in hand down the sidewalks, smiling gleefully.
Your friend Matthew had invited you to the small Ontario city for Christmas break; which you eagerly agreed. You already knew that Matthew was the personification of Canada; so it was only natural that he'd want to visit the Limestone city. For it was the first capital of his nation, and he never wants to forget it.
In the distance you saw the familiar blonde Canadian crouched over by the

The news anchor's voice echoed from the living room while you were in the kitchen, cleaning the dishes.
After hearing his last sentence, your entire attention was now fully on him.
"...we suggest you stay indoors from now on, considering the dangerous temperature outside. Accidents will be easy to get in a climate like the one we're going to be experiencing tonight. Already 7 major accidents have occurred on the East highway..."
You dropped the plate you were cleaning into the water filled sink and dashed towards the window. As you pulled the curtains apart, you felt your entire being crushed.
Snow flew everywhere, strong winds were practically knocking down nearby trees and everything seemed white, not to mention that the sun was setting and the roads were probably covered in slippery ice.
