This is somehow odd as it begun with a b/w ref and obviously it didn't turn b/w at all... A living proof that i see colors everywhere! Even where they don't exist at all...
Thing is i didn't want to do a b/w piece,my goal was to use a low profile-monochromatic pallet so to bring character and depth (in my point of view) to a celeb portrait.I am well aware that this came with a price as now my girl here doesn't look exactly like Hilary Duff, i can assure you though, she was my ref.

I used: Prismacolor premier pencils On Canson Mi teintes 160grm/m2 (I used the smooth side but theres still enough texture on it)
