Today was another day of journey wherein the group welcomed the warm shower of sun and the scattered pollens everywhere around. They've already been outside for a week straight, and the fishes they took from lakes served as their everyday meal. No vegetables, no other meats, no sweet candies... It was only good that it wasn't cold anymore since at night, they slept outside as well. Otherwise, it would be like a torture to their bodies.
Azumi continued dragging her heavy body as she walked alongside the other members, particularly beside her long-time companion Raishin. It was this exact time of the year that Azumi disliked

He had never given much thought about it. He was always busy with several missions the past few years, thus leaving his wife Hinata, his daughter Sasuhi and the newest member of their family, his son; Hisuke alone.
Well, not really alone since whenever he went to missions, he would take Hinata and their two children to the Hyuuga compound. But time really did fly so quick, from that incident when Sasuhi was still a baby and she and Hinata were almost killed by the people who had grudge against him... Almost sixteen years had passed since then, but he hadn't paid much attention to his children growing up and he ended up regretting this.
During his childh
Not GirlfriendHe doesn't mind (too much) that she has proclaimed herself as his girlfriend. After all that just means he won't have to look for a love life himself. Plus she is bound to keep any potential annoying fan girl away. Thus letting him focus on his missions and fights with Nasu. Granted Juvia can be insanely clingy and annoying. But all he has to do is glare at her and tell her to go hang out with Lucy or something. He always feels bad when he does that though. She always looks so heart broken. Like a kicked puppy. Not Girlfriend5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
But! GAH! It shouldn't be that be that big a deal if he wants a bit of personal space. Besides she isn't his real girlfriend! Even if she makes him delicious bentos every day and her magic compliments his. Even if her hand almost always finds its way into his and he doesn't say anything about it because her hand fits so perfectly within his. The fact remains that she is NOT his girlfriend.
He should probably tell her this. You know...so she can move on and stuff. After all it is
The Sacrifice of a Little LeafA yellow leaf abandons the tree that has been its home for the whole summer. The Sacrifice of a Little Leaf4 years ago in Emotional More Like This
It cries its goodbye to the world in tears while the wind gently guides it to its grave.
The victims of the frost's painful screams fill the cold autumnal air while a soft breeze sings a sad lullaby.
In a few days the earth is covered by a colorful lifeless mantle that children trample unaware of the suffer of the poor leaves.
A few months later those dead leaves are replaced by wonderful flowers that put in the air the pleasant flavor of hope.
The mothers inhale it while their sons are playing in the park.
Someone picks the flowers and brings them home to give his relatives the sincere smile that only the simpliest things can arouse.
Smile after smile, spring is guiding the world through the path of true happiness, and all that is possible thanks to the generous sacrifice of those little leaves.

It always twinkled in my mind
She had eyes full of delight
She was quite a beautiful sight
A laugh that was cheerful
It always gave me a feeling so wonderful
A kiss sent me flying through the air
Oh how I loved the feeling of her sandy hair
I loved to give candy to my sunshine
Of all gifts, candy was her favorite kind
With a smile she'd show me a flower as pretty as can be
The one she picked just for me
We'd always be together
Always and ... I thought forever
But something wasn't right
When she met me by the water that night
She had a smile that children dread
It's forever burned into my head
Her eyes lit up like a hungry fire
Filled with the most devious desire
She gave an icy chuckle
It whispered all around ~ my knees nearly buckled
She hissed and licked her lips
With messy black hair that fell down to her hips
The colorful candy in a small sack
Slipped from my hands hidden behind my back
"Ah, I don't want that candy anymore
I want the rushing blood

Chapter 1 : Job Request
A few days before the dilemma of Juvia falling out of love with Gray,
"Gajeel-Ku-uuu-un!" Juvia whined like a child. "Why can't Juvia go on a mission with you?"
"Geez, sprinkler." Gajeel sigh. "I don't want to push ya like the last time. You were so goddamnit tired."
"Juvia is better now," the water mage replied. "Juvia is fresh as a daisy!"
"That's only 'cause ya didn't do a single job in a week or so." The red-eyed dragon-slayer told.
"Juvia wasn't that sleepy! Who will Gajeel-Kun do jobs with if it isn't Juvia?"
He chucked. "I can do plenty by myself." That's right, he was going solo.
"But-" the water mage tried again.
"Nope, you stay here and rest." He waved his hand in front of her like some mafia-war lord of something. "Talk with the stripper or go shopping. Just do something other than work, alright?" Gajeel ordered.
Juvia mumbled in frustration but didn't protest.
"Good girl," the pie

to take hold of the tender verse of my unknown destiny.
The last sighs of the sunset
give an hesitating veil to your rosy enthusiasm.
The bouquet of rays that comb the summer
laid candidly with their temple
on the sunset's hearth of fire
brings to its altar
caress of rays and regrets from eternity
on a white pyre of roses
next to the walls of the old tower.
Simphony of white-green light
within trills of nightingales and whispers of the leafs
you're an enigmatic bird with a child's face,
its nostalgic smile wrapping
all the heralds of the dreaming worlds.

"Erza, I think this is a bad idea." He states, looking up from his neck to catch the eye of the Titania of Fairy Tail standing behind him. Her eyes flash and he regrets telling her that.
"Gray," She states as she walks over to him, clamping her overly strong hand on his shoulder, crushing it. "You must look nice for your date with Juvia." At that Gray grimaced even more and wish he could-like the water mage- melt into a puddle and ooze away or something. This 'date' had not been his idea at all. Rather he had been against the whole thing. But Lucy had mentioned something about Juvia being really nice and blah blah and then Erza had threaten to hurt him if he didn't. And well, when Erza tells you to do something, you listen. He barely notices when Erza's hand loose

Reed tops coated in frost

their stillness says
I died to make all things new.

I swore I'd never visit that old dreadful house again,
the one that sits upon the hill, where legends twist and spin.
It's been three years since I transgressed that hilly, weedy trail.
The dreams still haunt my days and nights; that awful, shrilly wail.
My sense of logic tells me that the voice was Mrs. M.,
escaped from the state asylum, e'er since been on the lam.
I don't believe in ghosts or ghouls or leprechauns and such.
Yet, what I sensed that fateful night still frightens me so much.
The thing that goads me onward in my foolish, silly quest,
is: How did Mr. Menlough die, and was his soul at rest?
Could it be his crazy wife had done him in unnoticed?
If she did the crime would be this town's most cruel and boldest.
I waited for a new moon eve when things were lit up well;
odd shadows cast on yonder hill, a distant clanging bell.
I make my way through brush and thorns just like I'd done be

"What do you mean Juvia doesn't love me anymore?" Gray Fullbuster yelled, slamming his clenched fist on the small circular table draped over by a maroon red silk clothe, making the single object sitting on the wooden furniture a so-call crystal ball which can predict ones future by the fortune teller jump then land back with a heavy thump.
The fortune teller Madam Yuka, an ancient old hag which was probably soo old she could die by choking on her own spit shot back an annoyed look. "I mean what I said, boy! No givesy backssies!"
Gray gritted his teeth angrily. This was sooo not part of the deal! "I don't care!" he hissed against her ear which sprouted some grey hair. "I asked you-"
Madam Yuka stopped Gray's sentence by her own words. "I know what you asked, deary." She pointed an unmanicured long finger at him making his eyes cross, it was painted blood red, clips of nail polish scrapped off here and

Shatter the tips of the broken glass

Blood drips in the color of rozen red
Drip and smear my crystal ice
Every sweet smile comes with a price
Forsake this wrenched heart of mine
Who pitifully seeks you crystal's shine
Simple DelightsThe wind rustled my hair and moved it in front of my eyes. Once again, I slid my hand up to my face, using my fingernails to put my hair back in place. As the wind died down, a bright red autumn leaf landed on my book. Did someone not want me to read this? The wind obviously did not like this book after all, it used my own hair against me.Simple Delights4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I moved the leaf off my book and into my lap. It's not often you find the perfect leaf, so I decided to keep it. I might use it as a model and use it in a photo shoot perhaps it could become a star. Sighing, I lifted my head up to clear my mind before I went back to my book. I could think about photography later. Right now, I had a book to finish.
Taking in the scenery around me calmed me down, some. I was sitting on a park bench to the right of a gazebo. Directly in front of me was a pond. Surrounding the pond were tons of trees that were turning color to celebrate the new season. As my thoughts raced, I heard the sound of the fountain

I have done most of my post-doctorate work alongside Dean Eroslide as he ran Harry Loaine School for Boys. It was a tiny little establishment, set up in a series of pathways and cottages that made up the dormitories and the 'holistic' and 'traditional', designed to accommodate Dean Eroslide's philosophy of natural living: 'clean and untouched life energy regulates all chakras and promotes a positive educational environment'. Needless to say, Harry Loaine School for Boys was a parent's last resort, when everything from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to Interventions and to Involuntary Hospitalization was never enough. The Dean had no degree of any sort other than a few licenses for Chakra healing and Reiki, so the entirety of the upkeep of the facility remained on the shoulders of these desperate parents--and of course the government kickbacks the School received for keeping me as a full time Child Psychologist
the night skyLong after we are gone and our great cities have crumbled into dust, some future archeologist will find our star charts and photos of the night sky, but at first, they won't know what they have, won't know how to read our sky because their sky is so different, with only a few points of light shining down. At first the charts and photos are thought to be mere fanciful imaginings, but there are those who will see that some of the brighter points, if properly extrapolated, do match the few stars that they can see, leading them to theorize that the universe is dying. Others will call this heresy and while the controversy rages careers will be built and lives destroyed.the night sky4 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
