How Dino Squad could have been betterI do like Dino Squad, but I will admit it does have its problems, caused, in my opinion, mostly by poor writers. After talking with some people about this show, I decided to write this, though it took me a while to complete. It's a rewrite of the show, attempting to fix some of the problems it had.How Dino Squad could have been better4 years ago in Personal More Like This
So far, I only wrote episode summaries rather than full episodes. I might get around to writing some roughdrafts of the full episodes, if I get enough ideas.
Here's what I came up with-
Veloci and Moynihan come from an isolated valley where dinosaurs lived into modern times. He and Moynihan are the last ones to survive when a mysterious plague wipes the others out. They took up an interest in human science and experimented themselves until they accidentally obtain human forms. Veloci and Moynihan go on seperate paths, with Veloci wanting to bring back the age of dinosaurs and Moynihan wanting to educate humans on how to live in harmony with nature.

First off, Oscar Nominee Ken Watanabe (THE LAST SAMURAI, MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, BATMAN BEGINS, INCEPTION) is joining the principal cast of GODZILLA!
Unlike most modern blockbusters/revivals/reboots, the studio seems to be going for higher caliber actors rather than superstar recognizable faces. It reminds one of the casting mentality for JAWS (paraphrasing - "We have our star...it's the shark...so let's focus on just getting really GOOD actors, not really famous ones.")
What's even cooler is the first ever set photo! Check out that charred helicopter!
But that's not all! Gareth Edwards sends a special message out via Youtube! Seems to be that this set is a Japanese airport...intriguing!
More shots of the "airport"!
Toho's Godzilla Returning in 2016?!First off, thank you so much everyone for the lovely birthday wishes You guys are too good to me.Toho's Godzilla Returning in 2016?!1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Secondly, this was a hell of a birthday surprise.
Yesterday, it was formally announced that Toho Studios would be reviving their OWN Godzilla film, set to be released in 2016, with production starting in 2015. Speculation abounds on the project, but the biggest question seems to be the focus on CGI or traditional Suitmation. The article cites the recent adaptation of the manga Parasyte as an example of the "high quality filmmaking" that Japan is currently capable of, but given the franchise's tradition of practical effects, and perhaps an unwillingness to appear inadequate when compared to the hundreds of millions spent of American SFX, we may be seeing something akin to Shinji Higuchi's Attack on Titan adaptation - a combination of sparse miniatures, green screening, props, CGI, and suits. One can only hope.

I'm going to put requests on Hiatus for now. Yes for now. I'm not entirely sure that the last Smash Bros Direct (which gave us Corrin, who's game I'm very looking forward to. And importantly BAYONETTA! I'm so hyped that she's in! I thought Cloud was already impossible and now the powerful and very attractive Umbra Witch in Smash)
Was the last DLC for SSB4, I'm pretty sure it is because Sakurai already provided the impossible, but people are saying maybe future normal Nintendo Directs more characters will come. I doubt it, but if so I will be very surprised and welcome the characters
So guys thank you for your time, I really had the chance to know certain people in Deviant-art, but more importantly you should be thanking Sakurai for all the hard work and effort he put in SSB4.
SSB4 is a near perfect game, if not THE perfect Smash game

Currently, there’s a hashtag circulating the interwebs called #ScienceStands that’s meant to shame people who choose to think for themselves rather than allow a “majority” of white lab coat-wearers to think for them.
Let’s turn this hashtag on its head by showing that we “deniers” use science to reject the very political narrative of global warming or climate change or whatever the true believers

Reminds me of an excellent Duckman rant: "Like I'm supposed to take women on how they 'feel' seriously? You want to be accepted for your minds, but you throw a hissy fit royale if someone isn't saying you look great 30 hours a day. You say you want a nice guy but you only give it up to the creeps. You get to stay home, not go to war, live longer, and have sex whenever you want. So remind me again: exactly what is there to complain about?"

Dystopian Novels, and lessons people don't learn1984:Dystopian Novels, and lessons people don't learn2 years ago in Personal More Like This
The state shouldn't be trusted. Hardly at all. Not with education, not with raising your children, not with giving an honest report on how well they feed their people, etc. Funny thing about this novel, most everyone of any political persuasion can use this book. The author was a socialist, but conservatives often use this book too. I especially found the part where Big Brother tries to separate the young from their parents to be an example of what the left is guilty of in America. Conservatives and libertarians who are capitalists aren't stupid for using this book.
Brave New World:
Even if the state could provide you with anything you ever wanted, that doesn't mean it's desirable. If "progress" comes at the expense of your freedom, your individuality, or your ability to have experiences that make us truly human, living between the 15th-19th century sounds better. That's why I'm wary of anyone who claims that Sweden is

• They support gun control. What "choices" do they consider to be important?
• They oppose the voucher system. Again, the irony.
• They support tax money going towards Planned Parenthood, birth control, and abortions. Bonus points if they attempt to rationalize that "it's not really your money". Where do the feds get it from, then? Their arses? Extra points if they are opposed to the idea of funding churches or religious institutions like schools or hospitals. What, I thought it's "not really your money".

Blender UI proposal!PLEASE READ! It's very controversial!Blender UI proposal!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
For those of you who do know, I mentioned that Blender is free 3D modeling software that's up in the clouds with 3D Max, etc. It's awesome software but the major holdup is the interface is so dificult to learn and it's very overwhelming. For beginners like myself it's a nightmare.
I just happened to come across a YouTuber called Andrew Price, and he uploaded a video about making Blender's UI much more user-friendly, because it's very jarring. For those of you who are interested I HIGHLY recommend checking his video out:
In the video description there's also a survey to give your thoughts. You don't need to sign up or anything dodgy, it's fine.

Earth Day 2013 by BlazeHart96
Happy Earth Day, every one! Today is often relegated as a day of mourning over how mankind has made the planet worse through our own mere existence. This Earth Day, I propose that we take time to celebrate how we as a species have actually made the world better through our sovereign dominion over it.
For example, while tree-hugging envirowackos often bemoan how fossil fuels have made the air and water dirtier, the truth is that the planet has become cleaner because of their use:
Also, contrary to the doom-and-gloom environmentalist narrative, the world has actually becoming much cleaner and greener within recent year, as Rare reports:Research published in Nature sa
Dino Squad RPI'm looking for anyone who wants to do an RP based on the 2007 TV series Dino Squad. Not many people, at least that I know, know much of the show, or even know it at all, which makes me pretty sad, since even I still love watching it, XD Anyways, I do got some rules first though.Dino Squad RP6 months ago in Personal More Like This
1) No god-modding or being all that powerful.
2) No controlling the other person's OC and Canons.
3) MUST play as Canons, not only just an OC.
4) MUST reply in detailed, PARAGRAPH length replies, please.
Anyways, so you read my rules now hopefully, and here's the list of the main Canon characters ((stuff in parenthesis is what the character turns into)) :
Max (Tyrannosaurus Rex)
Ms. Moynihan (Velociraptor)
Victor Veloci (Velociraptor)
Now, I will be taking the roles of Max, Buzz, Ms. Moynihan, and Caruso, so I need you to play as Rodger, Fiona, and Victor Veloci for me. I will also be including an OC in this as well

What will happen to social psychology if the upcoming college-age generations- crammed FULL with 'social justice warriors'- begins to take over?
Consider this thought: When you see the chart below, notice that political diversity was vanishing from psychology in the 1930s and 40s.... and recall what Else was going on in the 1930s and 40s.
And how many Died.

Man. 9 years. How DO you people put up with me?

If recognizing the idea that affirmative action will hurt minorities rather than help them is bigotry, I'm a bigot.
If supporting the freedom of association is bigotry, I'm a bigot.
If it is bigotry to stand up against the ever rabid, self proclaimed, "social justice warriors", I'm a bigot.
If it is homophobia to wonder if the raunchy behavior often found at gay pride parades indicates something other than what liberals have been telling us for years, I'm a homophobe.
If it is bigotry to recognize that a person's orientation and gender identity is influenced more by environment than genes, and that it's at least slightly more malleable than XX/XY chromosomes, I'm a bigot.
