"Can I have one, mir? Please? I promise I'll take care of it! I promise!" a young Trygve cried. His mother stopped and took his wrist in her tight grip as she began to scold him.
"You know humans are not pets...! They're wild, nasty creatures. One would sooner kill you and wear your skin than be tame enough to keep. You stay away from those hideous things."

He just wants a hooman-pet! What a mean mother!
I think my lil' Trygve needs a friend. c:
Not sure if I'm making him myself, or mooching off one of my friends, yet.

Almost completed the head! he just needs some eye lids/skull scales and a tongue. i made custom stencils to create all the intricate scale work using metallic puffy paint. slow progress as i could only work on small sections each night but well worth the effort.
This will be part of my Large quadsuit of toothless that is debuting at Katsucon this year.

These are over a year old, and worn, so they're not as pristine as I'd prefer for photos, but I'm planning a big event with my old suit, so I wanted some more professional looking photos of them while I had the chance.

These are also made from DF fur, which I've come to dislike for realism :/

Finished! And up for sale VERY soon :). This is my latest pendant design, it will be corded between the wings and crimped with a glass crow bead. Please check out my gallery for more photos, for size, etc.

I sculpted this out of Supersculpey Firm, and I'll be molding and casting duplicates in resin to sell as soon as the supplies I ordered arrive. The price will be $30.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling to anywhere in the world. Please feel free to leave a comment here, or send me a note if you have any questions :)!

The phoenix is possibly my favorite of the mythological creatures. The general features are stunning, and the metaphors tied to it are beautiful. I did my best to capture that in this piece, trying to weave the feathers into the fiery shape the wings form, with the head and claws in a assertive position mid flight.

This piece is Copyright 2010 Angela Pileggi (AKA AMP, Meadowknight). This sculpt has "(C) 2010" and "AMP" engraved discretely on the side of it's tail, as my personal signature, and to mark the time it was made :).

My family and I dyed easter eggs last weekend, and one of our boiled eggs was cracked, but not broken. My friend suggested I make it into a dinosaur egg, but I thought dragons were way cooler!! ^.^

Anyone who can guess Trombone's nervous habit gets a prize :D

:headbang: oh yeaaaah~ this b*tch is DONE!! I swear it gave me grief from start to finish. But whatever, I'M DONE!

duuuuude~ I love Tromb though <3 my sexy white boy :iconhurrplz:
I kinda realised I was using overly boring static poses for the other Tans and decided to try to challenge myself a bit. I don't think I realised how much erasing was needed to get the wall lean right though :\ ah well, I loved the sketch, so colouring it wasn't super tedious, just the ink job. I don't think I've ever drawn that many folds on a sleeve before

Anywho, process aside (and I really apologise for the lame background bubbles. I drew a blank trying to fill the empty space) Tromb's an awesome guy. Turns out after a bit of Wiki reading that he's actually just a big old trumpet, so he's actually a big brother xDD (okay guys, humour me. It's not my fault that about every tan I'm gonna make has siblings. blame the uncreative instrument inventors).

I've still got to post a ref for A. Piano and Cello, and then finish with the designs for double bass, drums and bari sax. Alto sax, tenor sax, the guitars (A. and E.), flute, clarinet, and electric bass are just getting final design touches done before I start scanning and inking them.

hoooooo~ boy. that's 12 things on my to do list. and only 5 designs done so far O____O
I still need to post a ref for a couple more instruments before I feel comfortable writing comics.

Maybe I'll just do that strings fallback I was thinking about. Or else clean up that one I tried doing last week.
nah, it's kinda lame. I'll go check my idea list later tonight.

alright second version of aceo for :iconc-t-elder: and lovely character Creed :)
I put into it my mind a little bit so Creed is thinking about sense of his existence and universe itself XD sorry for being so free with theme. I somehow dont like this version but hands are better but head shape is different.
