This is my first capital ship design in Star Wars Universe. So let me know what you think about her.
It a new ship commissioned in New Republic Era when Alliance is more concerned about holding onto & govern territory rather than space & and movement denial. As the organisation became a legit government, establishing a police & defense force became priority rather than engaging in hit & run guerila tactics against a superior force.
However, time & again engagements in galactic conflict proved that oversized not so efficient battleships does not have distinctive tactical advantages other than physchological surpression. Their costs to maintain & run does not compansate against their average battle performance. So New Republic went for smaller more efficient multi-tasking ships for the planetary police forces and advance scouts of their main fleets.
CEC FR-75 is a new breed of ship designed for escort/point missions for fleet operations as well as independent police duty in some remote systems. She is as fast as CR-90 corvettes with ability to take more punishment and nearly as heavily armed as Infamous Corellian gunships. Its ability to operate in atmosphere also gives her a distinct tactical variety. Although their concept and philosophy differed from Kuat Drive Yards CEC engineers acknowledged some basic design advantages of Star Destroyers when a "war ship" is concerned. the Bridge moved to a position where the full path of guns are visible & observation of battlefield is more easier. Its 12 quad laser cannons & three Dual turbolaser batteries as well as a frontal tractor beam gives her a varied multi-engage capacity.

This is a new fighter I designed for my Star Wars RPG. It is manufactured by Slayn&Korpil (The guys who designed Bwing with Adm. Ackbar). Since designers are Verpine & they are insectoid in nature I thought their newly designed interceptor should resemble one.
I also added swing wings for docking & quick deployment & storing advantages in mind also different wing positions are utilised in atmosphere for better maneuverability. The neck contains a rotating gyro for head guns in the tradition of creating a stable platform for the pilot while assisting in better accuracy (same principle was used in Bwing in much greater extent)

Among all the fighters int UTF navy fleet, few are maneuvrables as the Hades. With three retro engines, this fighter is able to accomplish complex trajectories in space or in atmosphere conditions.
majors abilities of the Hades is to reach target fastly with the help of the fourth plasma engines generation. High speed, maximum maneuvrability make it a dangerous enemy to catch.
Even with this capacities, the lack of main weapon strike disadvantage the Hades in dog fight. But the Navy engeneers add him an extended Missile bay with ability to bring one of the most efficient missile type, the Wasp High Velocity Missile.
This Missile is specialized in fighters / bombers interception, with a very high sensibility to locate the différence in structure coherence of enemy ship.
The Wasp work very well, even if it possesses an light splash damage or impact strenght, it generally enough to put out of action smallest targets.
The main weaponry of the Hades consist in on gun point which can fit mainly three differents gun.
The Circe is a double Ion projector with high shield penetration capacity. Once it had down the shield, the Circe disrupt the thin armor of the target in its structure coherency.
The Damocles is a mass driver with a magnetic coil that propulse small shell with extreme velocity. It is generally the prefered weapon by pilots, because it can reduce enemy fighters in a single volley.
The Encelade is the latest addition to the Hades weaponry. This tremendous plasma gun deals heavy damage in structure and shield , but has a low fire rate, due to the fact that it pump his energy directly from the four engine, lowering the top speed of the Hades also. Despite this, it bring a better alpha striking capacity and versability to the fighter.
In the race of speed, The Hades is only surpass by the Typhoon, but it has more maneuvrability and can carry missile. Anyway, it's always a good thing to deploy Hades space superiority fighter within a fleet.

The Gladiator is used for Heavy attack as well as Space Superiority and Long range interception with the 4 Nightstalker Missiles with 1000km plus range. Main armament is 4 Plasma Lances backed up by 6 heavy lasers. A reactor on the lower "wing" supplies power to the jump engines mounted in the rear of the upper "wing" or to the plasma lances during combat operations. A Ferrari Y312 Screamer engine is in each side boom giving a top speed of 0.03LY per second. The pilot sits up front with the WSO operator in the rear

Been playing a lot of Star Wars: The Old Republic recently and had a hankering to draw some spaceships. This is a pretty basic freighter (maybe a courier - it does have pretty big engine blocks).

Marcel Duchamp once said something to the effect that he didn't make art anymore because the world was already full of interesting things. Over the past year, I've seen new implications for this as far as concept design goes.

Sometimes common items have extraordinary shapes, and can serve as unexpected inspiration. The usual takeaway from Dada and Duchamp's readymades is that they're crude jests, but it seems to me that there are also lessons for designers in there as well. You can take everyday things and mix them together, cut holes in them, grossly change their scale, and get something new and interesting out of the affair. This helps prevent having spacecraft that look like flying dildos, even if you have to vandalize a public urinal to do it.

Spaceships are an odd case, because you want something unique and identifiable, while still maintaining a good feel of what it *does*. This is maybe even more true for designs for games, as being able to readily tell one type from another instantly is important for gameplay.
