This piece presented me with several challenges when I was doing. The biggest being the HK PSG-1 that Rosemary is using. I could find images of PSG-1 but in 1999 all I could find were side views and I wanted to do a top looking down view. I had good references for the HK-91/ G3 which is what the PSG-1 is derived from but there were certain details like tripod, adjustable pistol grip and scope mount I just had to make educated guess based on existing HK products. Now of course I have file with about 50 good images of the PSG-1 but in 1999 it was a different story. Once again this is an example of my colored pencil, marker, technical pen, gouache work, done vellum finish Bristol Board.

Whoa! Look at her! and that sexy kick ass bike! Two perfect things in one pic, what else do you want? Look at her, she´s just chilling after some miles of pure speed. Not even that can make her look bad. She´s always beatyful. Oh my, even better in that futuristic cyberpunk outfit dont you think?
Man, That cyberpunk Bike sure was a challenge, too many little things in there. But it turned out well, And Im proud of it! Look at that bike!!! oh And Also im proud of that sexy face I made :3

Here is an interesting discovery I made while doing researach for this piece. Our lovely Rosemary Parker is 62" tall ignoring her spectacular pompodour. A Barrett M82A3 just about as long and weighs a measurable part of her overall weight. This means posing her with one takes some planning, but in the end I think the final product was worth it. Sometimes there are silly little things in piece that you are proud of doing. The fluting on the rifle barrel is one of those things in this piece. Image size 11"x 14", medium color pencil with some marker, gouache, and micron pen.
This is one of those artsy pieces that you might see in a ladies fashion magazine for some unpronounceable perfume with a heart-stopping " if you have to ask you can't afford" price. Now Petina and Jackie are not afraid to get stuff in their fur, so long as it washes out, but Petina does approach it with more gusto. This image in particular is from a dream I had where Petina was taking a bath. Now, a more sensible mouse would've just rubbed some of the fur conditioner from a small container into there fur and waited the appropriate time before rinsing it off. But that is not how are little Petina is it. I'm still rather happy with how the diffused light is passing through the liquid/ glass.
Goodness, this is quite an interesting show! Yeah..... I'mma day early, but things came up and I had to finish this today! I hope this doesn't look rushed or anything..... I can't help but feel that way! It took me like an hour and a half to color! Which is a lot shorter than most pics! Anyhoo, I hope you guys like it! Especially you Caroo!
