i am the bird with the broken wingAnd this is how the story goesi am the bird with the broken wing2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
There is no high in these winter lows
The love that left me has faded away
My tears blur the night into day
For I am the bird with the broken wings
Who has fallen behind the flock,
Now I have fallen by the way side.
With no one to pick me up.
The love that left me died in my arms,
Now things are all messed up.
I am floating beneath the water,
But I cannot get back up.
The silence floats around me,
Where there used to be your voice.
I reach out in the dark,
Hoping for your touch.
All there is, is empty sheets,
A reminder of my loss.
I shudder at what my life has become,
Fragments of glass spread around the floor,
I cut myself trying to pick the pieces up.
But this is how my story goes,
There was no high in my winter lows.
The love I lost hurt too much,
Now there is no night, there is no day.

A simple flower, i hold in my palm,
A symbol of how easily something can be crushed or blown away,
Nurture this beauty and sigh away my pains,
A lotus, the soul of my love,
I hold in my hand.
As i contemplated these thoughts,
A Angel made itself known, walking in, with no halo or holy father,
Suddenly i felt insecure and stupid,
A boy in love with a flower.
It approached me and took my hands in its palms gently,
An angel maybe but a woman i was sure,
She possessed soft hands like small pieces of stroking silk,
Encasing my hands so they formed like fists.
A panic, i fell into fear as i began to crush my love, my flower,
Anxiety and pain, my heart began to cry and so did i,
She smiled and opened my hands palm up to show me,
The flower was still there and as perfect as uncrushed.
I awoke from this dream, a man,
I realized the flower was my love and my hands the rest of the world,
The hands are unable to crush what i love,
Love is something more, something u

The Punishment. (Kuroshitsuji School Arc) 01Part One: Caught. The Punishment. (Kuroshitsuji School Arc) 013 years ago in Drama More Like This
“What do you want with my room?” Ciel smiles awkwardly, calling on his ‘innocent first year mask’ to pull him through--even though he was caught sneaking around after hours.
It’s past hours when students are allowed out of their dorms, but there’s a small group of boys in uniform. Each has a serious expression, and holds his shoulders square.
One young man in particular has an air of offended dignity, and he wears the blue of the house. Another boy has an expression of outrage, and the trembling fingers to match. He would have it seem as distress, but Ciel recognizes it as excitement.
“My letter opener is missing!” Maurice pouts. He rubs his eyes as though he had just woken up, but his impeccable makeup suggests he hasn’t really gone to sleep at all. “It’s worth quite a lot. And who else could have taken it when you’re the only one we found lurking around after hours?” Hi

Her Song. She holds on to your memory. Her Song.2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Keeps your picture near at all times.
Dark curls and green eyes.
Perfect white teeth.
A sharp chin.
When she sits down at the keyboard to play;
She'll hear the words in her ears:
The sound of love.
'I love it when you smile..'
Her fingertips grace the keys, black and white.
Turning pink and red.
'You ARE beautiful'.
The sound of countless sunsets fills the dusty room.
Your arm flits around her shoulders, it is but a memory.
Just a memory.
You are a ghost that listens to her talk to herself.
You are the air against her lips.
You're nothing but a memory.
The sound of picnics in the park graces your ears.
She never would have done this without him.
A helping voice in her ears;
'B flat. No, no baby, B flat.'
The sound of heartbreak fills the room.
She has to stop the song.
You won't come back.
She went, all dressed in black.
A single rose.
And a tissue under her nose

Summary: Ciel Phantomhive is just what Sebastian was looking for. He needs a master to form a contract with, and Ciel seems to be just what he needs...however, Ciel is having none of that. Especially not when Sebastian breaks into his dorm room. (Modern-Verse). AU. demon!Sebastian.
A Demon's Pursuit
“My, my, but what a small master you would be...”
Too surprised to do more than think half a dozen questions, Ciel merely stared in open-mouthed silence.
The figure crouched on the windowsill, bent over in something like a bow. The first thing Ciel noticed was the white of his eyes, which seemed silver in the moonlight. Something in the tilt of his head, or the thin half smile jolted an idea into his mind. He’s the young man from Takeshita Doori. The one who seemed to be searching for something. He seemed wilder than before, and far too pleased with himself.
“What the hell are you doing in my window? Get down from there and go
PerfectI'm sorry I'm not perfectPerfect2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I’ll probably never be
I’m sorry I’m so selfish
Once I was scared and now I’m damaged
It made me the way I am, cold-hearted
With the evil instinct to hurt inside me
I smile for the world to hide the horrible person I truly am
I pray to find my solace
Forgiveness I feel I’m not worth
So my sins would become as white as snow
It’s funny how the voice of reason is the loudest
When I’m curled up and crying
Reminding me there’s things to be done
Not caring I plead to be left so I can bleed in peace
I know I break promises and never learn from my mistakes
I know I’m insensitive and I talk back
I’m sorry I’m not perfect
If could, I would be for you
I’m sorry I can’t be the perfect daughter
I’ll never be
I’ll just be me.
The Best of a BrotherI know what many have saidThe Best of a Brother2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
That you are not worth it
With all of your faults
And all you have done.
When you’ve gone with bad crowds
And have gotten in trouble
When all backs began turning
With no intention of mercy
When all hopes of happiness
Would suddenly fade
When trust had diminished
And faith all but left.
But I still stand by you
Because I know well
What my memories say.
You and I grew up
Only three years apart
Our ups and our downs
There were days that we fought
Sibling rivalry rooted
In our actions and words.
Then there were good days
That outnumbered the bad
In all kinds of weather
Visiting your friends
When I had none to speak of.
Contagious was your smile
When I helplessly cried
You came to defend me
When I was in danger.
We even broke rules
Together and in secret
Then we would get grounded
And break them again.
We stood side by side
Leaves Fall Like Tearsif I recall correctlyLeaves Fall Like Tears2 years ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
I don't believe I told you
why I called you autumn
anyone could see
that your hair was the gold
of fresh turned leaves
and your eyes were the warmth
of a sweet fire
everyone knew that your voice
was the playful crisp air
and your laugh was the memories
that fly on the fall wind
and your porcelain skin
was the pale full moon in the sky
but if I also recall
I don't believe you understood
I called you autumn
your mind was a cold bright flame
that only a few could grow accustom to
your dreams were just out of reach
like the bright leaves that fluttered away
and even after that you still smiled as they passed
your tears were the wind through the trees
silent and hidden yet utterly there
but I never let you see
that the main reason
just like autumn you came and went
without saying hello,
but more importantly
without saying goodbye
and like autumn
I'll wait for you for years to come
but there is one flaw in my name for you;
autumn comes and goes, but returns

Do you know what it means?
Homosexuality is not a disease
You use all these words
And derogatory names
Without knowing that we are all just the same
You tease them, bully them
Hurting them deep down inside
Without knowing that’s why
They commite suicide
You call them retarded
You tell them that they are
Screwed up in the head
Now let me tell you
You have no idea
They spend their life hiding
And living in fear
You keep pushing them
Making them feel like crap
Then you get angry
Wnen they finally snap
All of these names
all of these nasty words
Aren’t used by animals
Apes, fish or birds
We're a civilized species
we know right from wrong
so how has this managed
to go on for so long
So once and for all

Red is the color of life, love, and war,
And yet red symbolizes so much more.

That diamond with golden hair
I stand there invisible, barely alive
A lump of coal for whom no one cares
But you don't know what she really is
Though she seems to shine like a star
The mean things she does, the cruel things she says
That show what diamonds really are.
But no one cares about that, do they?
What's inside the beauty they see,
She is bright and charming, I'm dull and grey,
And they therefore do not see me.
The girl is nothing but polished coal
That hides how cruel she can be
I swear she has no heart, she has no soul
And never really cared about me.
I fell for the act at first, it's true
She seemed a perfect and caring friend
but she tore me down and ran me through
And abandoned me in the end
She may look like a dove, but she is a vulture
And she feeds on people like me.

Now they weep as the wind moans with them. The leaves hastily retreat; the flowers hang their heads in shame. Their tears drench all we've treasured, thrown away, take for granted. The sky dresses itself for their mourning; a blanket of grey. Smouldering clouds take command, an out pour of tears. Tears from the ones who have done all they could to heal, mend, and reach out to those in suffering. Even angels can't take so much disaster, as they take our pain with them, up where grief is nonexistent. Or so I'm taught.
"It's just a little rain."
Was my mother's response when she noticed the tears creep out of my eyelids. At seven years old, thunderstorms were mother nature's worst threat. Roaring winds and violent rainfall nearly inaudible to my screaming. Any sound a notch too loud pierced my young ears and keen senses. Just beginni

And follow the maps your fingers left on me,
Along my arms,
Across my face,
Hoping that they will lead to you
And not into empty space.
Your heartbeat is my song,
Your breath is the air I breathe,
You are the beauty I see,
And though I know I will never see your face again,
I can keep trying.
I bury myself in your clothes,
Surround myself in your smell.
Breathe you in and
Try to remember you,
How you moved,
How you smiled.
Another bottle of vodka on the floor
The ghosts of you keep coming back
And haunting me, teasing me
With things I can’t have.
Your memory is fuzzy to me now,
Your maps lead me to my heart.
It has broken in two,
Part of it left this world with you.
Here I am on the floor,
Drowning in alcohol,
Surrounded by what’s left of you
And understand that
My heart will always be haunted by you.
