This is a custom corset and sleeve set for a customer who wanted an original autumn theme woodland costume. The fabric has a tree bark print that I faded to a burnt orange. It pairs with this cape and tree branch wings

This is a steampunk pirate costume I designed and made for a customer. The belt has little glass tubes to store pearls and herbs, a hook to hold keys on, and a small pouch. The belt buckle I made by placing a plastic bird skull decorated with chain. The bustle can be let down by unlatching decorative hooks on the waistband.

This design is a steampunk-style take on Disney's Tinkerbell wings. The wings are designed to look like a flying device with a wooden frame which holds the gossamer wings. The gearbox operates on a series of cogs and flashing pixie dust lights.

Disney Princess Jasmine Costume for Traci Hines (www.tracihines.com) . Keeping it more realistic using fabrics like silk and lace encrusted with crystals and gems like a real princess would wear! The silk has a slight gradient to a darker teal at the bottom. Flowery lace vine grow up from the bottom of the pant leg. Jasmine has a bit of sensuality to her and I wanted to enhance that by adding a slit that lace up at the sides of the hips. I think it bring attention to a beautiful part of the body that usually is not revealed added to her exoticness.

I made several accessories to match the costume including a real bird skull necklace dripping with chain & covered in resin. The spats are tied on with ribbon. Both the cuffs, tricorn hat, spats, and corset have matching decorative buttons.

My customer asked me to design a dark fantasy costume. Plumes of black feather peak out from the tops of the corset, gloves, and thigh high boots. Creating a smoky look using black brocade on the front of the corset with crinkled silver at the sides. We added shadowy details of stenciled lace around the edges of the chiffon skirt. The whimsical cut of the hi-low skirt showcases the boots beneath.

I designed this costume for Kota Wade's ([link]) Music video "A Better World" For her band Bad Wolf [link]. You can watch the video and read about the costume I made for it here on my website - [link]. Grecian Ice Goddess detail of lace and crystal. They wanted a lot of movement in the sleeves. I used 7 yards of chiffon in the sleeves alone. Once we were on set and the fans were blowing she looked utterly magical!

My customer commissioned me to make a leafy cape for her costume. The long pointed hood has leafy details along the neckline. The sparkling branch wings sprout out from the back of her corset. Little bits of moss grow in her branches for a extra organic touch.

The Lady Amalthea inspired gown for the The Last Unicorn screening at Castro Theatre in San Francisco April 20th 2013.
If Lady Amalthea was going to a Ball I feel like this is the gown she would wear. I tied in elements of her lavender gown in the movie like the off the shoulder sleeves and plum colored ties down the center of her dress.
For me this is a very special gown because it was inspired by the one of my favorite heroines (Lady Amalthea) growing up. I am honored that I will be able to show this gown to Author Peter S. Beagle, and extremely honored that his crew wants to incorporated Firefly Path Unicorn Circlets on their tour. It's truly a dream come true that my work is in some small way associated with the Last Unicorn!!
