Capturing the Flag with Hetalia! ~ EnglandThe instant the horn sounded you bounded away, ready to charge to the other side. Time was essential to this game, you figured, and if you played with it on your side you may have a chance at winning. So you quickly rushed through the woods, hoping to find the Allies flag as soon as possible before they had a chance to get yours.
The leaves and branches of the forest brushed against you as you flew through it, soaring across the jagged terrain with a smile on your face. You had never really run through a forest before-it was kind of exhilarating! The wind nipped at your ears, whistling past your cheek with a dull chill. Air filled your lungs, chest rising and muscles straining as you moved through the tangled forest floor.
You had just raised your right foot when the other landed in a small pit in the forest floor, twisting at a sickening angle and sending pain shooting up your leg. You collapsed on the ground, gasping. Oh, that hurt! After a moment of recuperation, you tried
Capturing the Flag with Hetalia! ~ AmericaOnce the game started, you watched the rest of your team head out into the woods. You had volunteered to stay behind and guard the flag; let them run around and get sweaty, you were going to enjoy this lovely day by relaxing in the shade. Your eyes closed in contentment. You paced around the tree, trailing your feet across the grass as you left wide circles in your path. Cool air danced down through the sky, making the leaves tremble in the tall trees as sunshine poured out over them. It was a thoroughly pleasant day. The blue flag fluttered gently in the breeze, hanging off the giant oak behind you. The sun was bright and the birds were noisy, chattering in the bright green of the woods. The wind put a low howl in your ears, which soon picked up on another, fainter sound. You cocked your head curiously. Was it...rustling? You turned around quickly; the noise was coming from a leafy bush that sat on the edge of an arch of trees.Capturing the Flag with Hetalia! ~ America3 years ago in Romance More Like This

The sun had just peaked under the horizon as you launched into your 34rd game. Allies were in the lead, 17 to 16.
The two groups refused to let the other have victory, so any time the Allies were ahead, the Axis demanded another game, and anytime they were in the lead, Alfred would call for another round "FOR THE SAKE OF DEMOCRACY!!!!".
You half-heartedly trudged through the woods as the game began, too tired to be competitive.
"I don't even care if my team wins anymore," You though, stifling a yawn, "I think I'll just let the guys work this one out on their own."
You stopped walking and plopped down on the forest floor. A blueish hue had fallen on the woods, and, as you sat there, you were awed by the beauty this time of day brought to the timber.
"I love it here." You sighed into the stillness.
"So do I, aru." The stillness sighed back.
You whipped your head around to revel Yao, stepping out from the shadow of an elm.
It suddenly occurred to you that you ha

"Wait! (Name)-san! I do not understand! What arle we doing?" he pulled away as you dragged him down into the foliage.
“We’ve got all the information we need! We can go after the flag now!” You held out your hand out for a rally. "Are we ready to do this?"
Kiku glanced around, uncertain. "I-I am not so sure."
You rolled your head in exasperation. "We've been monitoring their movements for ten minutes!" And you had been-Kiku and you were put in charge of actually capturing the flag. The two of you crept into the forest together. Deciding the best way to cover ground was to go your separate ways, you split up: Kiku followed Ivan and you kept watch over Yao, who was guarding the flag, as you soon found out. As soon as the blue flag caught your eye, you jumped into the woods. You spotted Kiku's dark hair and ran up to him. 'Kiku!’ you had whispered excitedly, ‘we got it!’

Ludwig frowned. "But zhat would mean zhere vould be twice as many people on your team."
"We would still be able to beat them, aru." Yao grinned.
"Well prove it!" And with that Alfred dragged you away towards the Ally side.
The air horn sounded again-Alfred had put you in charge of the patrolling the area. Not the most exciting job, but maybe you could send some trespasser to jail, which would be super fun and satisfying! You decided to start your job-the sun streamed over the top of your head, warming your face as you trailed trough the forest. A fair chattering reached your ears. You perked up, tiptoeing around a bush in the hopes that you would sneak up on some Ally who was loitering around your turf. Peering around a tree you spotted a brownish r

Question: What's the best way to look for a little flag in a big forest?
You focused absentmindedly on a towering elm tree.
You broke out in a large grin. Answer: above.
You rushed towards the sycamore and latched onto the rough bark, shimming up the tree.
Once at the top, to scanned the top of the foliage to find...
"Ah!" The bright red flag, stationed by a rock close to the water, caught your eye. Grinning in triumph, you slowly made your way back down the tree.
"Gotta get the flag." Your foot slipped on the next branch, causing your breath to stick in your throat. It's not like you were scared of anything, but getting up trees was a lot easier that getting down them.

You approached hostile territory and glanced around. There was no one in sight.
There was no one anywhere.
You smiled smugly, congratulating yourself on sneaking passed everyone. After tip-toeing silently across the enemy line, a nearby rustle sent your heart racing as you immediately dove into some bushes.
"What was that noise?" You strained your ears, trying to determine what the sound was, or if it would come again.
Birds chirped brightly, but nothing unusual greeted your ears.
You peeked out from in between the branches. Just an empty forest…
“I must have been imagining things...” You thought.
You continued on, but moved a little slower, still cautious of the phantom sound.
Darting along the path, you tried searching for the flag, but your vision was heavily restricted by the thick foliage you were creeping through.

You headed over to the stream that wound through the woods, trying to form some sort of semi-useful idea. You sat down by the bank among the cattails and clear water.
“What if I use an astrolabe to…wait, it would have to be night…so maybe…”
Your thoughts were interrupted by a splashing sound nearby. You scrambled to cover, unsure of the foreigner-but whether it was an Ally or an animal you really didn’t want to be around when they came by.
Peering out from the stalks, you caught a glimpse of a tan coat brushing by the reeds. The tune of something vaguely proud and patriotic whistled by you.

“So, a couple of us are getting together tomorrow to play a rad game of Capture the Flag, wanna come?”
Lounging back into the pillows, you thought it over. Running around in the woods with the Ally and Axis forces? Why not?
“Sure, sounds great!” You piped into the mouthpiece.
“Awesome! Meet us there at, like, 10, bro! See ya there!”
You arrived at the woods the next morning, clad in jeans, a plaid shirt, and hiking boots, ready to climb through the trees.
Shutting your car door, you headed over to where you could see the others already grouped up.
“Dude! You made it!” Alfred beamed as you ran up to them.

Staring out of the bedroom window, you saw the first few delicate drops of snow fall to the frozen ground below. A feeling of excitement passed through your body; you loved winter more than any other season during the year. You loved the snow, the snowball fights, the nights in front of the fireplace with a hot mug of tea or hot chocolate in your hands but more importantly, you loved the chilly time of year because you got to spend it with your best friend Arthur.
You had known Arthur since the two of you were kids. The moment you saw him, you wanted to be friends immediately, even though he was a bit reluctant at first due to his self-consciousness. Your small, awkward meeting blossomed into a fully-fledged friendship in a matter of weeks and it has stayed like that for several years. The only problem was, the pair of you went to different schools, which made it harder for you to see each other during the school year.
