I've seen and experienced more horror than my friends, family, even my own master. I was a riolu when I had my first emotional scar. But I'll start out with the day I was born, I assume that some of you know how most Pokemon are born, some are born the same as humans, but others are born from eggs. I was one of those Pokemon that was born from an egg. My mother and father were the only ones that were there the day I was born, I was a wild Pokemon when I was born. My mother placed me in the center of Entera Forest for my birth place. The second I hatched, a bright ray of an angelic sun light shone through. My mother and father were both astonished, soon after I was born, my father prepared for the war.
My mother and I bonded very quickly and took me everywhere she went. She was the only friend I've ever known in my young life. But soon, hunters came to take me, but my mother put me in hiding, I couldn't even bare to look, so I just ran as far as I could. I stopped for a while to

Zanas grunted as he lifted the last of the restocked boxes. He sighed in relief as his gaze fell upon and climbed the handful of small box towers, as well as the trinkets and science equipment that he and this "Melody" had spent so much time reorganizing together. Now the once cluttered mess of an office was a much more neatly stacked and maneuverable area.
Boxes and plastic containers were put into corners or in the closet and Zanas even saw Melody organize the Professor's instruments in a neatly fashioned space on his work table next to the window which was to the back right of his main desk.
The two had done a good job working together, though neither even spoke to the other for the longest time. Zanas even went as far as to refrain from looking at Melody for the first hour. After the second and third hour, the boy couldn't help but peek at the girl he had tussled with, sizing her up to the other girls he saw regularly in town.
She had dark brown hair that stretched down to her mid-

You were shocked. So shocked that you didn't have time to respond before he pulled away, blushing.
"I-I'm sorry I don't know what I was- you know " But you smiled and pulled on his shirt, kissing him right back.
"I don't mind." You said. "Not at all." You smiled up at him to see that he had a look of relief on his face. "But-uh I think we had better get out of here before they find us or something." You said. He nodded, still a little dazed. You were surprised at how calm you were. He liked you back! After all of this time He really liked you back!
Alfred grabbed your hand and led you to the fence. He easily unlatched it and pulled the two of you through. He went to shut it again, but it suddenly slammed! A loud bang resounded around you. Your eyes widened.
"Who's there?!" Your father called from the back porch. You and Alfred quickly ran across the road, thanking your lucky black outfit that it was almost pitch black outside. Suddenly you tripped over your own f

I have one question before I continue with my story…Do you remember when you were born, the place the environment you grew up in? I remember mine well, the heat it burned the souls of my paws when I tried to crawl outside of my mother’s egg placed so carefully inside a nest of three more unhatched dragon like Pokémon like myself. It was strange, my master never understood what I was saying as an animal and always called me by my species name instead of the name my mother gave me. She named me Richter and I was the only child to hatch that warm summer day. The rest of my siblings had suffocated and died inside their egg causing my mother to have to rid of the bodies by devouring their souls. These memories bring nightmares to mind when I remember them. It was one week later that my mother had abandoned me, I was alone and cold and had no idea how to survive. I was a young lizard not much older than the first evolution. It took two years for my first trainer to find

Pokemon-Castle: Saving a pervert.
The sun shines brightly at this day onto the castle, a lot of Pokemon were playing about, and having fun. Inside the castle, was a library. In the library was a Glaceon, this Glaceon was wearing some reading glasses and was reading a book, till she got interrupted by a small Snivy "Glacey! There is something I want to show you! Please follow me!" The small Snivy blushes and beckons. Glacey sighs "What now, Pervert? Can't you see i'm busy here?!". The Snivy shook his head and beckons "It is really important! You need to come and see!". Glacey growls "Fine, Whats so important then, Sam?" She gets off the table and starts walking to Sam. The Snivy's blush grow thicker and redder as the Glaceon comes closer, Glacey sighs with annoyance.
Eventually Sam and Glacey made it out of the castle into a big open green field. The Snivy walks closely to the Glaceon while the Glaceon tries to walk a little further away from the Snivy. Glacey sighs wi

The sun was shining high in the sky, the breeze blowing gently through the trees... Apparently that day would be like any other. A beautiful young vaporeon, with some outstanding and unique features - such that its white belly and a few pints in the lower back was bathing in the lake, which was in the Pokemon breeding behind the laboratory of Professor Elm. However, her calm did not last long.
"Mizu! Mizu!" Her older brother called, desperatly. "Come with me, NOW!"
"Easy, Max! What is happening?" She said, leaving her divan of water, while her brother, a Flareon, despite his aversion to water, was pushing her with the muzzle with anxiety.
"You need to see! I can not explain." He expressed sincere concern in his voice that trembled with dread.
Without another word, the Vaporeon followed, which led it to the professor's lab, who spoke through the pokégear.
"Calm down, Lilian... She'll be fine..." He said while a buzz could be heard coming from the other

"Jirachi Christ it's just an Eevee" Zanas groaned, sitting under a tree as a circle of girls fawned over the new Pokémon recently given to them. Their screams of delight stung Zanas's ears even from such a distance, as they held their "super cuties" in pride.
Some of the Pokémon being held seemed just as joyful as their owners while others looked confused and just as irritated as the young boy under the tree.
Zanas yawned as he reached one arm over his head to the other and stretched out every muscle from his shoulders and back, down to his stomach. A loose green denim jacket stretched down from his shoulders, down his back and reached just above his waist line, while his black lightning T-shirt was pulled up by his stretching revealing a thin but soft exposed belly. That shirt never once fit long enough for the boy's height, but he never threw it away simply out of nostalgia and picky taste in clothing. At least his Jeans were a fine fit, loosely hugging his hips and stre

Heads held high, the newly evolved Kou and Yuki strode confidently into Pewter City, their master dancing about excitedly behind them. As they left the dark, damp evergreens of Viridian Forest, tall mountains towered up in their place. Rugged rocks and trees lined the path they strode on, leading them into the very heart of yet another small city.

Psst. Ame turned suddenly to see a man standing nearby, spraying mist over his plants.
"Do you know what I'm doing?" he whispered menacingly, waving the cold mist close to them. Kou grabbed his tail and held it close to him, cradling the precious flame protectively. Ame stared at him blankly.

Latios carried Blaze on his back and I carried Ralts on mine as we headed up the mountains, where Flarewhip, the keeper of the Flame Sword awaits us and Blaze's battle. Blaze leaped off of Latios and started to jog quickly. I have no idea why he's doing that. Then, as the top reaches our sight, Blaze stops in front of a small oasis. He looks down at his refection.
I slowly look over his shoulder to see his reflection, mine, Jen's, and another. It's weird, but I think the Legendary Pokemon Jirachi is here. I jerk my head backwards to see him floating in fron of us. Lstios heads over to my side. Blaze turns around to see him.
"You seek a wish, don't you?" Jirachi calmly asks Blaze. Blaze nods. He reaches his hand out and holds a star peice. Jirachi stares happily at it and accepts it from him. "Ok, what is your wish?"
"I wish to find Flarewhip and battle him," he says back. Jirachi's head jerks up with eyes wide open. He's completely shocked by his answer.

Why should I wait?
For the world to decide its own fate?
There's no time to stand around,
We have to take our swords and stand our ground.
I won't accept, this cruelty that's always shown,
I'm sure that everyone, throughout this journey will surely grow.
What is wrong? What is right?
We'll settle this all in a fight.
I am sure I can protect,
Everyone to my last breath.
No matter what, we are all the same,
Where is the shame?
Don't think that everything,
Is just what you've brought to believe.
I will make this world change,
There's no strange.
I will not stand down,
I will cry until everyone hears the sound.
For what you believe in,
In this fight we must win.
No longer "try again"
Fight 'til you reach the end.

A/N: First of all, I don't want to hear any complaints about the "four moves" rule of Pokemon. The whole point of this piece is to explore the concept outside of its normal parameters in a more organic way. How many Pokemon attacks can you catch on to? ;D
This piece is a tribute to Pokemon, a big part of my formative years, as well an homage to the many (likely now pathetic) chapters I once wrote of Pokemon fiction as a child, and an expression of the idea of regret and loss in this land of Adulthood - reflection on who we become as we age, and how we cope with it.

I survey my opponent on this quiet morning. He reeks of some old acquaintance whom I've met before, I'm sure. Hunched on all fours, he appears to be just as determined and prepared as I am. We exchang

When he saw you, he let out a sigh of adoration, before catching himself and snapping out of his stupor. Stumbling a little over his own feet, he hurried to your side, waving both of his hands as if he were worried you might miss him.
"Hi," he said, out of breath. "How are you?"
"Hey, Mattie." You leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek.
His face flushed pink, and he looked down at the ground. "H-hi," he said again, stammering.
You hid a smile. "What's up? What are you doing here?" You hadn't made any plans to meet up with him this weekend as far as you could remember.
"I wanted to see you," he said, without looking up.
"Oh." You blinked twice, surprised at his assertiveness. He was usually too shy to make the first move. "Did you want to come over? I'm hea

This has been stuck in my head for many many months and I have been dying to get it out but never had the chance.

Anyway this is a little piece of prose in which I hope you can all relate too in some way or another.
I would just like to say first that this is in no way an attack on anyone or anything. These are just my honest opinions and views .
My message in this is Beauty is the Beast hence the title. I chose to write this because after talking so many wonderful people I realised they were suffering the same problem I was

Naturally, you must assume there is cost. For everything gained, a penny is lost; of course this life can be no different--when the check arrives, you must pay the difference. But not all who ride on the sunday train pay the same price to get out of the rain: a king’s ransom might obtain far, far less than the pauper’s cheap pain.
Your father paid the price of sweat, a back bent under the yoke of the world; accrued worldly financial debt but was recompensed with the jokes of a girl. And he would say he walked away wealthy, with his empty bank account, for his daughter lives today quite healthy and loves him in equally large amounts.

between a pen and a sword.
Between a few deathly strikes,
and one simple word
The sword could not defeat
a few thousand men,
A thousand worded lecture
was written by the pen.
The lecture drove them all,
to temporary death.
Its words dragged on like lullabies,
and stole their very breath.
The sword was not able
to bring tears to ones eyes,
Without striking love
and telling many lies.
The pen however knew how
to make ones insides melt,
when composing a sonnet
so powerful and svelte.
The sword ended up covered,
with blood and salty tears.
It's blade getting heavy,
from battling all those years.
And I hear that they still battle,
the sword and the pen.
Words clashing, sword smashing,
Again and again.
If you stop- and listen closely,
You'll hear the pens words.
You'll hear them calling out,
against the metal swords.
