Way Too Much Development for your Legacy CharacterThe basicsWay Too Much Development for your Legacy Character7 months ago in Literature Templates More Like This
What’s in a name? There’s a lot to be said for names. Keep to a cultural or ethnic name unless there’s a very good reason not to—no Texas-born-and-raised humans named X’Kerita or aliens named Daniel. If you want a name that will stand out, refer to the alphabetically arranged list of characters already on the Legacy (hint: don’t give your character an A, M, R, or T name).
What is your character’s name? Include first, middle, and last if applicable.
What does their name mean? Look up human names, and give it a meaning if you made it up.
Why were they given that name? Is it after a relative? Did their parents like the meaning? Thought it sounded pretty/rugged/inspiring?
Do they like their name? Hate it? Is the name they go by the same name they were born with or have they (or someone else) had it legally changed?
Do they have any nicknames? Who
Avid Writer's Meme1.What’s your favourite genre of writing?Avid Writer's Meme8 months ago in Literature Templates More Like This
I have such a diverse interest in genres so I tend to go from one genre to the next and sometimes I do combine them. I have several genres that I do enjoy writing about, which is science fiction, romance/love, Greek Mythology, drama, family and a few others. I also write poems, original fiction and fan fiction. All of which are very fun and interesting in my opinion.
2. How often do you get writer’s block?
Hmm, this is somewhat of a hard question to be honest with you. I remember a few years ago I had the most awful time experiencing writer's block. I couldn't write anything - in fact I struggled to write anything. That put a lot of strain on me as a writer since I was working on a few stories at the time and I didn't know to cope basically.
As of right now I do suffer from writer's block from time to time. Well, it's another form really. It's like I have plenty of ideas sometimes and I don't know how to write them down in a story.
Tips on Making a Good Ninjago OC After being in the Ninjago fandom for a while, I've decided to create a few OCs like a lot of others in the fandom. While a lot of OCs are great, there are also a few that could use a bit of improvement. I created this guide to keep your fan-character from falling into the "In need of improvement" category.Tips on Making a Good Ninjago OC9 months ago in Literature Templates More Like This
These are the most prominent in the fandom. Seeing as the ninja are the primary protagonists, Ninja OCs are expected to be the vast majority of OCs in the fandom. Therefore, this is the primary category where OCs will need the most improvement.
While it's perfectly alright to give your character a hard past, don't go too overboard on it. You don't want your OC to be an empty shell of a person! Keep in mind though, if they have gone through some sort of emotional trauma, they will not be a bowlful of of sunshine happiness either, they will have at least a bit of bitterness de
