I'm the first to admit that Fluttershy is my least favorite pony, but she continues to spite me by always coming out super on character model every time I make her. Onto the description!
Here's a Fluttershy, who will be for sale at Big Apple Ponycon. She's made of super sculpey and sculpey firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics and sprayed with matte acrylic sealer. Fluttershy stands at about 5 inches tall.
I had some issues with Pinkie's head (I think its a tad too big) but I think the mane and tail make up for it.
Pinkie Pie is made of super sculpey and sculpey firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sprayed with matte sealer. She stands about 5 1/2 inches tall. She'll be available at Big Apple Ponycon.
Another Octavia, I wanted to make another after getting the hang of how to do the cello from the Musical Throwdown piece.
She stands around 6 inches tall, made of super sculpey and sculpey firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics and sealed with spray matte sealer. This will be available at Big Apple Ponycon.
Description is pretty straight the point. Getting on some sleeping ponies, they're easier to make than standing guys so I can sell them for a little less than the more complicated pieces. I want to have a good pricing variety at the table.
Luna is just under 4 inches long. She's made of super sculpey over a foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sealed with spray matte sealer. I also added some shimmery silver over the crown and booties. Luna will be available at BAP.
This is the piece that was most affected by my GIMP quitting on me, I really wanted a nice, high quality image for this one due to all the detail. If Apple can fix my issues, be assured of a higher quality upload in the near future.
This is a two piecer, with the bases fitting together but not attached. I saw some images of Vinyl Scratch with an electric guitar and thought it was neat (She's playing a bass btw, check the 4 frets). I haven't made Octavia in a looooooong time and I was overdue. I think I was avoiding her because of that damn cello. After this, I'm taking a break from the the twofers. Every time I embark on one of these, there are a number of unforeseen difficulties that always crop up.
These two are clocking in at just under 7 inches and are made of sculpey firm and super sculpey over a wire armature. painted with acrylics, and sprayed with matte sealer. This set will be available at Big Apple Ponycon.
I really like the way Pinkie looks with this pose, but since I've done it twice before and I hate making the same exact thing twice, Gummy got to join in the fun.
Gummy was a fun sculpt, next time I'd make the head bigger but I'm overall satisfied with him.
Pinkie and Gummy are made out of super sculpey over a foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sprayed with matte sealer. The piece measures about 5 1/2 inches tall. Pinkie and Gummy with be debuting at BAP.
Here's Pinkie and the Cake twins. Those baby ponies were weird to sculpt, I definitely learned some things I want to improve on for next time with these guys.
Pound and Pumpkin are sculpted to lean on Pinkie as pictured in the top picture, but they're independent pieces so you can move them around. Pound is a little front heavy, but can sit up on his own without help. They're made from foil and super sculpey, painted with acrylics, and sealed with matte acrylic spray. Pinkie is a little under 4 inches tall, Pumpkin is a little over 3 inches tall, and Pound is around 2 inches tall.
Currently available, $85 for all three figures. Drop a note if you're interested!
Finally done with this one! I seriously underestimated the difficulty level when constructing interlocking pieces. The last one I did was a sleeping set of Lyra and Bon Bon, and they were nowhere near as complex. Also, dem wings.....
This piece was made of super sculpey and sculpey firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sealed with matte acrylic spray. It's pretty tall, coming in at 8 inches.
Note: I only plan on posting the one, not the multiple views, unless there is a specific demand. I just felt this pic perfectly captured the feeling of this piece.
