Shattered HeartMy heart is broken and torn,Shattered Heart2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
My heart cannot beat,
For it is no more,
But tiny pieces that lay all around,
Easily swept up and thrown away,
For this shattered heart shall stay broken and forgotten,
Ironic is it not,
How easy one’s heart can shatter,
Even silence itself can make one’s heart shatter,
So my heart shall stay shattered,
Never to be put back together,
For nothing can fix my shattered heart.

Praying for the prey
A saint so blissful
Don't let the old scars awake
A storm of rage comes my way
Idle hands yearn to be unfaithful
Even the heavens won't feel safe
I am my greatest fear
I am my own worst enemy
The glares I give myself are fierce
I barely hold onto this false harmony
My twisted thoughts flicker / The acts of a sinner
The silence of a confessor / A secret held forever
The madness took over / Becoming hell's harbinger
I am the lawless; I am executioner / This is my will; this is my terror
I hated my own reflection
Knowing the truth behind the lie
I destroyed my own protection
I tore down the walls in my mind
The light has darkened
A past so painful
Forcing fury to descend
No more trespasses to repent
I am the child who became spiteful
I have been devoured by my inner demons
No SolaceMy Solace is no more,No Solace2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
My heart is broken and shattered,
My soul cannot feel no more,
As I lay here on the floor,
Blood flowing from my wounds,
So deep and so Neatly cut,
As my solace Ripped me apart,
Shattering my hope's and dream's,
So now my solace has crushed me so,
For now I feel nothing anymore,
So I shall lay here numb and in pain,
For i shall never be put together again,
For i have no Solace left in this world.

The smile's we shared,

The memories we made,
As my memories fade away,
As my mind starts to decay,

For forgetting you,
For by the time you read this,
I would have already gone insane,
And forgotten everything.

A jet trail splicing it apart…
I swear I see another world in that gap.
Where the sky broke apart
Just beyond the old, old snow-capped castle
And the still unpolluted new masonry
Roses, thorns and anchors in the brickwork,
Long extinct sea-life
Holding up the world I know
As the skies fall down in flakes--
But the real roses are gone;
The anchor sunk-- two miles down,
And even those walls will eventually crumble.

A monster that can consume all,
No where to run,
No where to hide,
For it will find you all,
The monster has a name,
It is a name we all know so well,
For the monsters name is heard so many time's before,
For the monsters name is War.

For the daughter of the beast has been released

She will play before she feast
So run, hide, or fight
For your soul will be hers before this game is over.

Hayns. How to characterize these creatures from a far away world, Esvarra, in just a single word?
Empaths. Yes, this concept is a foundation of their culture, but it only answers “how?” and “why?” questions and not “what are they like?”
What does an empathy mean for a hayn? An ability to read minds of other's, an ability to feel their emotions. Inability to become distant from other creature's pain, great compassion toward other's suffering. A weird combination of collective intellect and individual reason.
Intellect and reason are not synonyms, at least in hayns' case. For example, let's take a computer: intellect is it's capacity, operative memory. Reason is all programs that use an electric “brain” as their main source. Intellect is capacity, reason is an algorithm. First one is impersonal, it's only responsible for complicated processes that a brain is capable of processing. Algorithms can be changed, overwritten and corrected. New pr

Why did you turn away?
Why did you leave me so?
Why did you break this promise?
Of our souls,
I looked to you for comfort,
I looked to you for help,
I looked to for love,
Yet I have received none,
You promised me you would stay,
That you would never leave me here all alone,
But you broke that promise,
Leaving me here crying,
Broken and alone,
Knowing you are no more,
I will not trust another again,
In fear I shall be hurt,
I shall stay alone forever,
No one to break a promise with me again,

After losing Elle to Mias, his usual cheery self felt depressed and in need of liquid comfort, only it wasn't really helping. The busty waitress from earlier was seated next to him. She exchanged looks with the bartender before gingerly laying her hand on the Stag's shoulder. "There, there love. It can't be as bad as all that."

Some find beauty
Others still restrict the concept of "beauty."
I don't know where I'm going with this.
That is the artist's curse...
To see the beauty everywhere
and try to replicate it
or create it,
and to make others
embrace that beauty as well.
But it doesn't even matter
if anyone else accepts it or not,
because the artist has to create regardless.
It's the only way that they can ever function.
There's beauty everywhere,
There's so much that
even trying to fathom it
makes your mouth dry,
and your throat close
at the impossible magnitude of it.
To control that overwhelming feeling,
you embrace it,
and replicate it,
and add to it.
And you become frustrated,
and it all just ends in the same place:
More to take in,
and more to be rejected for,
and more to lose your mind over,
and more to create.
and it’s horrifying

So Wrong, So Right-Doctor x MasterWARNING: BoyxBoy, make-outSo Wrong, So Right-Doctor x Master3 years ago in Romance More Like This
So wrong...the tenth incarnation of the Doctor repeated in his head. This was so wrong...
He was being pushed against the iconically blue door of the TARDIS, a pair of hands gripping the front of his brown pinstriped suit, forcing his mouth against someone else's, someone he knew all too well. The Master.
So wrong...yet he found himself kissing back with enthusiasm he didn't know he had, then eventually parting his lips slightly, letting the other's tongue in his mouth.
The kiss broke apart after a few moments, both gasping for air. For but a second, the Doctor was able to see logic through the confusion filling his head.
"St...stop..." He murmured, his voice rough. He raised his arms to push him away, but the Master pressed the other Time Lord's wrists against the door of the TARDIS.
He threw his head back against the TARDIS with a sharp groan, torn between resisting or giving in.
The Master took the unintentional invitation and started pressing kisses to th

"Oh God, please stop this," she said in a whisper. Mias' death would mean she'd be trapped in this world for the rest of her life. Even if she ran away, she could cling to the hope that she might one day see the streets of her home town again and the faces of her family. If he died, so did her hope.
"The title of head of the family is mine Mathias!" Elias declared as he raised his dagger.
Mias glared at him, refusing to bow his head in acceptance to this fate. He refused to be murdered in such an ugly manner. But what could he do? His entire right side was paralyzed and his left wasn't feeling much better. He could barely move or summon the strength to cast a spell. He was losing blood too quickly to think clearly. For the fir

She slowed her pace as she scoured the trees for one that looked easy enough to climb and hide herself in. She was grateful the clothes Abernos had given her blended in well with the foliage. She finally spied a tree with a low lying branch and she latched onto it, walking her legs up the trunk until she could wrap them over another branch and pull herself up. She climbed up a few yards, enough to be out of sight, but enough to keep in sight what was on the forest floor.
