Spoink Plush redone For my Pokemon Pig collection!
I decided to remake my old spoink plush I modeled him after my tiny hasbro spoink. Differences between this and the old one include stuffed ears and arms, and a slightly different pattern, and unstuffed tail with no wire He's about the same size as the old one, 12 inches tall! I made him about 2 months ago but never took any photos haha. He is made from high quality shannon Minky and very soft!
I started him months ago and finally decided to finish him lol. Made from Minky, with satin stitch embroidery for his eyes. He has thread sculpted toes and nose, and of course his iconic pulsing vein XD
Charmeleon! Part 2 of my middle Evolution project He was much easier to put together than Wartortle and had only 2 main colors, so it also didnt take as long, woo! Charmeleon is made of Minky fabrics and has felt claws. His eyes are machine embroidered. Ivysaur will be next after I order some fabric for him ^_^ He will be for sale at Youmacon this year!
I made this plush yesterday as a spur of the moment thing for my friend Annie She is making me a lovely watercolor, so in return I made her a cubone!
He is a bit different from my other plush. I made him out of super soft tan faux fur, so he is really soft. His skull is made of ultra cuddle rather than smooth Minky as well. I reallly wanted to go for more of a doll and soft fluffed look than smooth His eyes are satin stitched, and the line detailing on his skull is threaded with embroidery. I forgot to measure him but he is a good size, around 10 inches tall or so, perfect to give a big hug to!
I took some photos of the process in making his skull. I am very proud of how it turned out, and the pattern alone took 6 pieces! @_@ The final piece was added at the very end to give it that extra rounded shape in the back. Here is a link to that photo comp. c: [link]
Mareeeeep! I had so much fun on this plush! I dyed faux sheep wool fabric golden rod yellow to get the pale yellowy color c: She has plastic safety eyes, a fluffy pom pom tail and a little purple collar with a jingle bell around her neck <3 She is one of my favorite plush to date!
this Wartortle goes to the lovely , if you like my stuff you should definitely check her out, too!
She asked for a wartortle, but gave me free feign on the design. I wanted it to have a chibi quality to it. It is made of minky with a machine embroidered face, satin stitched detailing, and some painted detailing. I used the patterned cotton for the shell because I was inspired by the official Pokemon "patchwork collection" dolls- too cute!
Girafarig Plushie-Secret Santa exchange for for 's xmas in July.
I am truly, truly happy with this plush. Girafarig was the very first plush I ever made back in early 2010. 2 years later and now expanding my gallery to over 100 plush later, here is Girafarig 2.0
He is made entirely of Minky fabric through and through, with hand stitched spikes, and thread sculpted smile and embroidered teeth for the tail. There are plastic safety eyes on the tail as well. Pattern is entirely hand drafted as well What a great personal milestone for me, I feel so accomplished in such a short amount of time.
